About Professor Grimm
Professor Grimm is a charming (aptly) and friendly natured man, delighted to teach his passion and still harnessing the mischievous and sometimes foolish nature he had as a boy. Intelligent and imaginative, he has a particular fondness for muggleborns; empathizing with their lack of experience with the magical world and the ill-treatment they are sometimes subject to.

Pet : Charles, a Scottish Fold kitten who, due to a mishap with an anti-aging potion in his youth, seems to have a greatly increased lifespan. Though he is slowly aging, in the twenty-two years since Cael received him, he hasn't grown much.

Personality : Professor Grimm is a charming (aptly) and friendly natured man, delighted to teach his passion and still harnessing the mischievous and sometimes foolish nature he had as a boy. Intelligent and imaginative, he has a particular fondness for muggleborns; empathizing with their lack of experience with the magical world and the ill-treatment they are sometimes subject to.
Virtues/Strengths: Charms. Charismatic, creative, clever.
Flaws/Weaknesses: Conceited. Despite good intentions, can be flaky.
History: Cael always had a vivid imagination growing up, telling his parents fantastic tales about extraordinary things that had happened.. that he had made happen in a burst of furious excitement or murderous rage.
They never imagined those stories might be true. The Grimms half thought their son must be playing some elaborate prank when the letter winged its' way through their mail-slot, but in the end, off to Hogwarts he had gone; a beaming grin across his face and a tiny kitten tucked in the crook of his arm.
Of all the magics he learned, Caelin loved Charms the most - it captured the wondrous, impossible and enchanting aspect of magic that Cael had felt upon discovering he could wield it. When he graduated, he soon returned; determined to instill his love of magic in the next generation of Caelin Grimm's.
