In each post, the user will ruin the wish above then create their own.

Lets say the wish in the post above was "I wish I could fly." Your post would be similar to this:

While walking along the street you bump into a busy executive type. She does not turn around and you give a good glare at her departing back for it. Still, you notice fluttering at the edge of the pavement and reach down to pull out... a lottery ticket! You reach into your pocket, but you cannot find any spare change. A finger nail does not seem to cut it. You trot along to an ATM for some cash, but your perfectly good card is declining. You try to use the edge of the card itself, no dice. Staring deeply into the unscratched squares of the potential gold mine, you blow out a deep breath.

Next, you head home. It will have to wait until tomorrow since it is dark. You wake up bright and early, reach into your change dish to find... empty. Your flat mate has been an inconsiderate ass yet again. You reach for your piggy bank... and then realise you're a normal adult. Your dreams and your savings all crapped out around the time you graduated top of your class in a field that simultaneously requires experience, but finds you too overqualified for entry level positions. You glare at the framed degree on your wall and get ready for a half day of job hunting before your afternoon temp job.

During your milling about, you remember that you stuffed the ticket into your pocket. You toddle into the bank and make change for pennies. While you are there, you also get a temporary bank card and plan to receive your replacement in 7-10 business days, at which time you anticipate changing your PIN will be like pulling teeth from an angry capybara. You take yourself to your favourite mid-day eatery and after lunch you smooth out the lottery ticket on the tabletop and use one of your... no, shit, you left the coins at the bank while going through the bank card replacement process.

Going back to the bank, you make change for a single roll of pennies, determinedly hanging on to them, and make a beeline for your afternoon job. When you close up for the day, you fall out home and sit at your kitchen table, staring at a half-eaten ramen container your friend-turned-living-arrangement-nightmare has so typically left out for you to clean. Cracking open the roll of pennies on the table... Nope. Cracking open the roll of pennies with sheer grip stre- Not that either. Sawing that fucking tube of copper-coloured asshats open with a kitchen knife, you finally take one and blow out an angry breath before scratching off your chosen few. You stare at it. Your eyebrows rise practically into your hairline. Jackpot. Jackpot? You leap to your feet and do a quick dance, but then remind yourself to keep it cool (and hidden from your flat mate) until you can cash in your ticket to the gravy train.

You rise earlier than you ever have in your adult life to make it back to cash out that baby, and are both surprised and highly suspicious at how easy the process is. You feel like you are floating in a dream as you make your way to the bank and ask for one hundred thousand dollars of your million dollar prize money in pennies. You decide to teach your pilfering flat mate a lesson by slowly filling up the place with said pennies. After the million are all safely stored, you climb Scrooge McDuck-like over them and lounge and count your wealth.

Eventually, one of your counts comes back minus one. You frantically search the sea of pennies for the missing one, but all you find, taped to the refrigerator, is a cryptic note from your now ex-flat mate that just says, "A penny saved, is a penny earned."

You go mad. What does it mean? Did he take the penny? He won't return your calls. Was he joking? Has he hidden it somewhere? You lope about like Gollum, but no matter how many times you count it, you come up a single penny shy. Then, on the one year anniversary of the loss, you receive a text message with a picture of the missing penny in the hand of that smirking ass you once co-habitated with... You hatesies him. You miss the precious.

Leaping from your pile of riches like some tatty skeletal lemur, you stagger and slip on the coins. Being a hoarding dragon of a person is not really an active life style when no one is actively trying to slay you, it happens. Then again, as you tumble down your mountain of pocket change, you hit all the wrong angles and slide under the kitchen table, facing up towards the hive of chewed gum that jerk left behind, in a pool of blood that smells as coppery as the pennies that glitter mockingly about you.


On the anniversary of your lottery win, you die... a penny less, man. ^-^

For several days this continues, until you happen to glance the calendar on your phone and see that several days have in fact been more than a week. You down the rest of the water in the glass by your bed and fall back into deep sleep. The Big Sleep, in fact. Your nap has become permanent, and your dreams and nightmares float on forever.

Months from now, when your residence is sold, the new people who live there will sometimes swear that they wake to the sound of snoring. It is your last reach from beyond, announcing to the world of the living that even in death you refuse to wake up ever again.

Magical whinnies of "Down with slavery!" can be heard echoing across forests and heaths. Because of her strong stance on the subject, she distances herself and no longer maintains communication with you, but a fading photo of the pair of you sits in her bookshelf between the musty pages of The native horses of Scotland : Scottish breeds of horses and their folk as a reminder of her days amongst the Dutch.
