See you say that sounds gross, but that sounds like a good boil to me. Makes me drool thinking about it. At my familys' annual crayfish boil. We boil crayfish, potatoes, and corn all in the same stock pot. Once cooked, they get dumped into a massive cooler and everyone essentially gets a plastic bucket to scoop out as much as you'd want.

oh, no worries, I can understand how it can be off putting. It's sort of like how northerns look at biscuits and gravy, not understanding how it's amazing or like how it feels like people outside of Texas don't understand how Tamales can be a breakfast item or some southerns look at a few northern dishes and don't understand them.
