Alex stepped into the elevator. The very air was rank with the stench of BO and perfume. The elevator stopped at floor 3. Something was wrong, his office was one floor up. Then the Electricity went out. The doors opened as a shadow, massive and filling the entire room, could be seen.
Alex did not make a noise, he did not scream, he simply stood still. The elevator creaked and groaned as the brakes began to fail. Alex quickly squeezed through the door and hid under a desk.
