RATING INFO :: This RP is rated PG-13 so as to give players as much creative freedom as possible without losing the spirit of the Kingdom Hearts franchise. As such, this RP may contain action/fantasy violence, mild/infrequent instances of inappropriate language, partial or implied nudity, mild sexual references/situations, etc.

Once upon a time, on a website called Roleplay Adventures, a site member named Dracodeathtalon created a Kingdom Hearts RP called "Kingdom Hearts: Heroes of the Light". The RP was off to a slow start at first, but eventually attracted a small but faithful group of RPers, making it a modest success. A few pages into the RP, however, something changed; I'll spare you the details, but suffice to say that a few players ultimately ended up losing touch with the RP, and the RP itself carried on for a time before eventually slowing to a halt and meeting its end in the Parody/Fanfic Recycle Box.

Some time later, those few members who drifted away decided to create their own reboot of DracoDeathtalon’s RP, having truly enjoyed the essential storyline of the RP. A few distinctive changes were made, but the basics of the plot remained more or less the same, and thus the RP “Kingdom Hearts: Renaissance” was born. GM’ed by Lady Celeste and Yamimoon, this RP was also a success, and even earned the Staff’s Choice for Roleplay of the Week at the time, but it also eventually met an untimely end in the recycle box due to several factors that I won’t bore you with here.

Now comes the third chapter in our little saga. After a long hiatus from RPA, DracoDeathtalon has returned to the website. Lady Celeste contacted DracoDeathtalon and Yamimoon to see if they were interested in another reboot of the Kingdom Hearts RP, and sure enough, they both agreed.

And so, this thread was born.

Since the beginning, light has served as a counterbalance to the darkness, especially in the hearts of men. Over the years, there have been many who sought to destroy the light and plunge the world into darkness, but for every such evildoer, there have also been a number of brave souls ready and willing to fight back against the darkness so that light may prevail. Sora was one such soul; together with the many comrades he has met in his young life - including his childhood friends Riku and Kairi, as well as the ever-loyal Donald and Goofy - he has fought to keep the darkness at bay wherever it may arise.

Sora's most frequently emerging foe, known simply as Xehanort, has made himself known directly or indirectly in a number of forms, including the likes of Ansem and Organization XIII, and has until now been defeated time and again, even if only temporarily. Few have doubted that Xehanort would still pose a threat to the light, but no one expected his latest return to take place the way it did, as he ambushed Sora at a crucial moment while the young Keyblade wielder was alone. Sora himself was last seen lying motionless in Xehanort's arms, seemingly comatose, just before Xehanort disappeared with the boy and fled to parts unknown.

With Sora missing and Xehanort still at large, the darkness has now become bolder than ever, rising yet again to claim more worlds as Xehanort prepares to finally gain the total control that he craves. But the light will not be defeated so easily; Sora's friends and allies - particularly Master Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy - have taken charge of the search for him and for Xehanort, seeking to stop the latter's plans before it's too late.

And more recently, newly-chosen Keyblade wielders and other new heroes have been emerging as well to help fight the darkness. Vanigx of Neo Midgar was among the first of these newcomers to obtain his Keyblade, and is currently with Riku and company in Traverse Town, where Master Yen Sid foretold they would soon encounter the other new wielders. In addition to this, there have been reports of crystals of pure light being spotted in some worlds, as well as mysterious new underlings of Xehanort who are searching for these crystals for some unknown reason.

The war of light and darkness continues...

Sora was recently ambushed by Xehanort, who put him in a coma-like stasis and then proceeded to abduct him, and neither Sora nor Xehanort have been seen since. Master Riku, Kairi, Donald, and Goofy are now searching for Sora and Xehanort, all the while seeking out new Keyblade wielders, who are expected to arrive in Traverse Town very soon. From there, our story begins...

No godmoding, no powerplaying, stick to the rating (I.E. No cybering or anything like that) ... All of these should go without saying on this site, but there you go.

Stick to the main plot. If you want to give your original characters their own backstories or have them interact with other characters, you're certainly free to do so (in fact, we encourage it), but don't let it reach a point where the main storyline is derailed or ignored, because that's not fair to your fellow RPers who are trying to follow the main plot.

Don't hog the RP. This RP will be designed to give everyone a fair share of the spotlight and a fair amount of control over what happens in the RP, so please extend the same courtesy to your fellow players. Again, OC backstories and character interactions are fine, but it's not fair for any particular group of players to hog a scene in such a way that no one else can get involved or have any reasonable degree of control over the story. Likewise, it's not fair for any particular group of players to start constantly alternating posts among themselves on the IC thread without giving anyone else a chance to post; if a scenario comes up where you must alternate replies in this manner, you may put together a co-op post over PM's and then post the full co-op post when it is finished, provided that this is not done in such a way that other players are not given a reasonable degree of control over what happens in the RP (I.E. Powerplaying, Autohitting, etc.).

Multiple characters per player are allowed, as long as it doesn't reach a point where you monopolize the RP.

The total maximum number of non-canon heroes (excluding guest characters) who will be accepted is ten (10), because any more than that would stretch the RP too thin and would be unfair to those who joined first.

Keep canon characters in character. This should go without saying in any fandom-based RP, but it's still worth keeping in mind. For this reason, anyone who wishes to claim a canon character (including any character who has appeared in the Kingdom Hearts franchise) will be expected to know enough about said character(s) as to be able to keep them in character. To enforce this, although no profile will be necessary for canon characters, anyone wishing to play as a canon character must post or PM a brief RP sample featuring the character in question.

"Pseudo-canon" characters from other established works are allowed, including Disney/Square Enix characters who have not yet appeared in any of the Kingdom Hearts games, as well as non-Disney/non-Square-Enix characters. That said, profiles for such characters will be handled on a case-by-case basis to ensure compliance with the rules, consistency with the PG-13 rating and with the overall spirit of the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and other factors as applicable. On that note, pseudo-canon Keyblade wielders are also allowed, provided that a plausible explanation as to how they received their Keyblade is included in their profile.

Use third-person story format for all posts. This may seem minor, but it's been my experience that using other formats can lead to confusion, or may make it more difficult than necessary to be descriptive with your posts, and for players to use different formats can also get confusing, so I've decided to set a clear standard for everyone's benefit.

Put a reasonable amount of effort into your posts. I won't nag you over every little spelling mistake, and I'm not requiring a full-blown novel in every post. But if your posts are so poorly written that no one can understand what you're writing, or if you don't include enough detail in your posts for other players to be able to write a decent reply, something's amiss.

Ardeth stands at about six feet tall, and is fairly well-built for his height. He has shoulder-length black hair, brown eyes, and tanned skin, and his face bears the Medjai's signature black hieroglyphic tattoos. As far as clothing goes, Ardeth typically wears the traditional black robes of his people, usually alternating between the all-black robes, turban, and bandoliers more commonly worn in the desert, and a set of black-and-silver robes that he typically wears when traveling in a city.

Modern society in the Archaic Lands is still in a relatively early stage; technological advances like cars, airplanes, and guns are not uncommon, but don't expect to find a laptop computer or MP3 player in this world anytime soon. On the other hand, this world is abundant with untapped magical energies from the distant past, if one knows where to look for them. More often than not, however, misuse of these ancient magical forces can trigger hidden dangers that may endanger the entire world as one knows it, so extreme caution is advised when dealing with these forces.

What Ardeth lacks in superhuman powers and high-tech superweapons, he makes up for in leadership skills, tenacity, and sheer strength of will. Specific skills that he has been shown to possess include falconry, espionage, and military leadership, and he is perfectly capable of surviving and operating in harsh (especially desert) climates due to having lived and operated in the scorching Sahara desert for most of his life. In addition, Ardeth's relative inexperience with modern technology, though certainly not helpful when dealing with high-tech machinery, has also made him entirely non-reliant on modern conveniences that most others might take for granted, making him particularly well-adjusted in low-tech worlds or when going completely off the grid.

Backstory:
Like all Medjai warriors, Ardeth Bay was trained in combat from an early age and sworn at manhood to do any and all in his power to prevent the treacherous High Priest Imhotep from ever being resurrected; over 3,000 years ago, the High Priest's crimes were so horrible that he was punished with the dreaded Hom-Dai curse, which would make him a virtually unstoppable plague upon mankind if he were ever to arise.

To this end, Ardeth and his fellow Medjai kept a constant watch over the ancient ruins of Hamunaptra, where Imhotep was buried, and spent their days driving off or killing anyone who found the city or knew of its location. This mission, however, often forced the Medjai to kill innocent people to prevent the far greater threat of Imhotep being resurrected. Strained by this constant need to succumb to darkness for the perceived greater good, Ardeth's heart was not strong enough for the Eye of Horus Keyblade to accept him as its wielder when he first discovered it in the ruins.

Ultimately, despite the Medjai's best efforts, two teams of treasure hunters found their way to Hamunaptra and accidentally revived Imhotep, after which his curse quickly began to wreak havoc upon the world. As the situation grew more desperate, Ardeth soon found himself having to work with the very people he'd previously fought against to stop Imhotep and his curse, during which time Ardeth felt more and more conflicted with himself, wondering if the deaths of so many innocents in the past was really necessary.

Eventually, after being separated from the group while trying to hold off an attacking horde of mummies and strange black creatures, Ardeth fully realized that the very people he might have been forced to kill earlier were now the world's best and only hope to defeat Imhotep, and resolved from that point on to never again shed innocent blood. In that exact moment, the Eye of Horus keyblade appeared in his hand; having overcome the last remaining barriers in his heart, Ardeth was now ready to wield the Keyblade, and used it to strike down the mummies and the attacking black creatures with a surprising ease.

Meanwhile, sure enough, the treasure hunters had succeeded in defeating Imhotep, confirming in Ardeth's mind that he had made the right choice. After thanking the treasure hunters and bidding them farewell, Ardeth returned to his people with the Keyblade, but not before hearing a voice briefly warning him that "the darkness" still had to be stopped. Unsure what this could mean, especially after Imhotep had already been defeated, Ardeth can only keep watch and prepare himself until this "darkness" makes itself known.

Rafe's mana is one of the few things that he retained after his death and subsequent revival, however his reborn body is unable to control the massive amount of power he had developed/

Relevant Backstory:
Rafe was born in Daybreak town, He trained under Aced in the Ursus union. However he was blind to the Master of Master's true scheme, as they all were. Despite his special training with Master ava Rafe chose not to join her Dandilions and ultimately fell during the keyblade war.

It was only later, after he was reborn thanks to Sora's efforts, that he found himself in the Keyblade Graveyard once again. His memories were scattered and muted the world he once loved now a barren wasteland. He stumbled through the dust and darkness trying to find his friends, failing to recognize their keys left to rust in the dirt around him.

As he traveled he learned exactly how much time had passed, how the Heartless and the Organization had almost destroyed the scattered worlds and heard whispers that the worlds were still in danger. He kept traveling and eventually found himself before the King. Mickey was awe struck that a warrior from the past had been reborn but could sense he was no longer the master he had once been. His memory too distorted to allow him to fight at his side once more.

Rafe was given to Merlin for training but Rafe chaffed at the thought of being given to the old wizard. It soon became clear to him that Merlin was his best hope since Rafe could barely cast a simple fire spell, in fact he nearly destroyed himself the first time he tried only saved by Merlins magic.

His stay was short however, after Flora, Fauna and merry weather helped him not only revive his keyblade but also reforge it with their power Rafe left the tower for Twilight town barely better than he had arrived.

They delivered the young man just as i anticipated they would. He was disheveled and ragged but a bit of tea set him right enough to understand the current predicament.
He took the revelation hard, almost as hard as it must have been to fight in that war, foolish that if only they had thought things through just a bit more.
His magical power is extra ordinary, I'd never seen such raw power in all my years. It's his control that's lacking.

Jehosaphat! This lad almost destroyed the tower on his second day! I told the boy that it was too early but he was determined to force the issue. I barely got the barrier up in time to mute the power of this spell.

Clearly it wasn't just the current threat that was spurring Rafe. It appears when the boy fell in the war it all but destroyed his keyblade. It was all but a hunk of metal when the fairies managed to use their power to retrieve it from that forsaken place.
However it seemed they had power to spare as right in the boys hands they managed to revive it, oddly enough it changed its form completely! These fairies are truly remarkable.

The foolish child has run off now to the outer worlds in an effort to assist Riku, He's barely back among the living a few days and thinks he's ready to take on the darkness. And here I thought I was finally getting through to him but it seems he would rather repeat his tragic mistakes.

Character Name: Vanigx

Physical Description: Vanigx is known to be around six feet and 5 inches while packing enough muscle to have an eight pack as his body is very well toned for combat despite his past. He currently wears the same hood he kept from the Organization, but cut the hood off from it in order to use it as a jacket. His pants are also black with dark blue flames as a design. His shoes are known for being black and blue in order to acknowledge the bond with his companion. His eyes are brown while his hair is red. His keyblade armor is black and blue with a red core in the chestplate while looking like a dragon complete with wings on the back that function as well.


Native World: Neo Midgar

Neo Midgar was formed from the ruins of Midgar that the numerous battles against Sephiroth, Jenova, and other forces of darkness. It is known that the city itself has adapted itself to keep the lives of the wealthy and the poor balanced. They also have a wall for a defense force to fight back against Heartless and invading monsters.


Keyblade Wielder?:

Keyblade Description: Vanigx new keyblade after his rebirth as a human is known simply as Wing of Darkness. The keyblade has a large fang from the original Bahamut despite the keyblade's dark appearance of black, blue, and red while shaped like a sword inspired by the head of a dragon and shaped as such. Whenever Vanigx chooses to call forth his companion, the keyblade shall be struck by oddly colored lightning before it forms a circle of blue flames around the ground to summon the beast. This blade stands as a reminder to his past

Powers:
Vanigx can summon his faithful dragon known as Dark Bahamut as a means of flight, assisted combat or as an ally to overpower the enemy and possibly turn the tide of battle with its Mega Flare Overdrive. The keyblade can also be used to channel Dark Bahamut's power into boosting his overall strength, speed, and durability temporarily before expiring with a massive radial blast wave called Impulse Wave

Other Skills: Expert Military strategist, a good cook, and can do his best to treat injuries without magic if assistance is given

Backstory: Vanigx was reborn as a human due to the power of the Blue Fairy, but fate had other plans in store for the fallen hero. He had been chosen to bear the mark of Dark Bahamut thus granting him the beasts' power and its keyblade. Since that day, he had chosen to go back to Neo Midgar and train with Cloud to hone his skills back to their former glory. However, darkness had risen once more and he had once again a need to carve his own destiny and seek to end the man who ruined him.

by the blue fairy do you mean one of the three fairies from sleeping beauty?

Well, he’s not good at all with Magic except for summoning Dark Bahamut. Not to mention he’s still adapting to his completely human body meaning his reflexes are still a little slow. The blue fairy from Pinocchio is the one I’m referring to. Another thing is that he’s not fast without Dark Bahamut but has human level strength and durability like that of an average bodybuilder.

well just off the top of my head I do have a few suggestions to make him just a bit more pallatable.
he really doesn't need all of those weapons since canonically only keyblades or weapons that the user has a highbond with AKA Leon's gunblade or clouds sword, are capable of destroying the heartless and only the keyblade can release the hearts they hold.
I'd go with the guantlets personally.

as far as bahamut I'd suggest that early in the story he is a source of inner power sort of makeing you a berserker type of character, and as the story progresses you gain more control of him to the point that you can actually summon him in combat without him running wild.

Oh and the blue fairy thing, I looked up her wiki and couldn't find a source as to the limits of her powers but seeing as she just granted life to pinochio rather than creating him herself you could have had his heart restored by her.

Luna's overall look is said to give off "an aura of distinct dottiness"; she has straggly, waist-length, dirty blonde hair, very pale eyebrows, and silvery eyes that have been described as "protuberant" and giving her "a permanently surprised look".
Her decidedly quirky fashion sense hasn't changed a bit since her recent graduation from Hogwarts. To name just a few examples, she has a tendency to tuck her wand behind her left ear for safekeeping, and often wears a necklace of Butterbeer caps and earrings made from dirigible plums: an orange fruit that resembles radishes. While she will wear a uniform if required (such as her Hogwarts uniform while she was in school), her choice of clothing can and does tend to be cheerful and unusual in her own uniquely colorful way, sometimes too much so for the tastes of those around her, though this doesn't bother her in the least; in fact, she enjoys it, believing that those who follow the crowd are likely to get lost in it anyway.

The Wizarding World, as its name suggests, is abundant with magic, and its many witches and wizards have built their very own thriving culture over the centuries with magic at the heart of their everyday lives. However, this culture lives entirely isolated from that of non-magic folk (whom the witches/wizards refer to as Muggles, No-Majs, Non-Magiques, and other similar terms); in fact, under the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy, witches and wizards are strictly forbidden to use magic in the presence of said non-magic folk or otherwise reveal any aspect of the magical world to them. Furthermore, under the Decree for the Reasonable Restriction of Underage Sorcery, witches and wizards under the age of 17 are forbidden to use magic at all outside of their respective magic schools (or outside of homeschooling or correspondence courses, if applicable).

On that note, there are at least 11 prestigious wizarding schools in this world, all of them greatly respected throughout the world and in their respective geographical regions. These schools include, to name just a few:

Powers: Luna is a witch, and as such can perform magic. The magic she learned at Hogwarts tends to be of a highly technical nature and almost always relies heavily on the use of a wand and a properly-pronounced incantation; although wand-less and/or non-verbal spell casting is not impossible, it is generally too difficult for most wizards, making Luna's wand essential for her to use magic effectively in battle. Other limitations on her magic may vary depending on the specific spell to be cast.

Other Skills: Luna has a knack for magizoology (the study of magical creatures), and even sincerely claims to have encountered various magical creatures (Nargles, Blibbering Humdingers, etc.) that not even her fellow wizards believe actually exist; needless to say, this is one of the reasons why she was often called "Loony Lovegood" at Hogwarts. Also, her creativity and eccentric ways of thinking are in fact far more of a strength than others might give her credit for, making her surprisingly perceptive and intelligent despite seeming very absentminded at first glance. Likewise, her seemingly natural talent for comforting others in distress should never be underestimated, as even the most powerful Keyblade Masters in the universe are still vulnerable if they are emotionally imbalanced.

Backstory:
Luna was raised by her father Xenophilius for most of her life, as her mother Pandora, who loved to experiment with different kinds of spells, died in an experiment gone terribly wrong when Luna was only nine. She was accepted into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry when she was eleven, and there she earned the nickname "Loony Lovegood" due to her eccentric beliefs and generally unorthodox demeanor. In spite of this, she was sorted into Ravenclaw House, which was said to be specifically reserved for students with great wisdom and intelligence.

During her fourth year at Hogwarts, Luna met and befriended Harry Potter, and it was through this friendship that she became involved in the Second Wizarding War. Years prior, the dark wizard Voldemort - the instigator of the First Wizarding War, whose evil was so great that almost no one dared to speak his name - had tried to kill an infant Harry using the dreaded Killing Curse, but Harry miraculously survived when the curse backfired on Voldemort and (at least temporarily) destroyed him. Consequently, Harry was famous throughout the Wizarding World as "The Boy Who Lived", but also became a primary target of Voldemort and his followers, the Death Eaters. The Death Eaters had succeeded in resurrecting Voldemort one year before Luna met Harry, resulting in a heated conflict that went on to become the Second Wizarding War, during which Voldemort eventually took over the Ministry of Magic and proceeded to cruelly persecute muggle-borns (witches/wizards with non-magic parents) and other undesirables on a massive scale. The Second Wizarding War finally ended when Voldemort was eventually destroyed again, this time for good, after the Horcruxes that had ensured his immortality were all located and destroyed.

It has only been about a year since the end of the Second Wizarding War. With Voldemort gone, the Death Eaters lost virtually all of their power and were forced into hiding, reduced to little more than a bad memory in the minds of many. But the scars of the war still run deep: so much so that, even now, most witches and wizards still refuse to speak Voldemort's name. Harry, along with mutual friends Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger, had missed their last year at Hogwarts due to the war, but the newly-appointed Minister for Magic, Kingsley Shacklebolt, nevertheless officially made all three of them Aurors (dark wizard catchers), noting that their active involvement in the war was more than enough proof to satisfy the traditional skill and character requirements to become an Auror. Luna herself graduated roughly a year later, and is eager to continue her and her father's pursuit of the elusive Crumple-Horned Snorkack...

...or she was, until just recently. It all started with the appearance of strange black creatures with bright yellow eyes in many parts of the world: they looked like they might be Dementors or something similar, but these ‘yelloweyes’, as they are now officially called, have become so numerous and so dangerous that a growing number of witches and wizards have been forced to evacuate their homes and seek refuge at Hogwarts and other available shelters. To make matters worse, Harry has recently gone missing under highly suspicious circumstances, and his disappearance has reignited old fears throughout the Wizarding World, leading many to fear that He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named may have somehow returned, or at least someone very similar. And then, just as the situation seemed to be at its worst, Luna somehow found herself in a strange new world, which the locals called Traverse Town.

Physical Description:

Alexiel Hikari is an 18-year-old, at least in looks, she stands at 5'9" she seems thin but is actually a very healthy person. She typically wears a combination of purple and white outfits, since they are her favorite colors. Her lips are pink in color. She does have some muscles on her, but with her feminine body, it is not easy to spot. Also her ears are slightly pointed, similar to an elf's ear. Although she is shy when you first meet her, she will eventually open herself up, thanks partly to her training that she received. She has a tattoo on her hand, and unseen one on her back. She also wears on occasion, a pair of white fingerless gloves. She is both a physical fighter and a magic user; she tries to keep herself in balance between the two, all a while keeping defense in mind.

This world is isolated from other worlds; it exists for only people who are born into this world. This world is ruled by one ruler. People in this world love their ruler, because she saved them from being destroyed. There is more to the world, it is spacious, and is very peaceful. Spearia exists with two moons and one sun. The world of Spearia was created as the result of a history lost of most of the known worlds, but the ruler remembers the history all too well. The possible war that could have broken out because of that history was erased from all of the known worlds.

Backstory:

Alexiel was found abandoned along with her sister, Rocial. Since no parents were ever found, the ruler of Spearia, Lady Elsinore raised the sister as her own children, with the assistance of her main guardian, Aurora Suzaku. The sisters when they were younger were typical children, until Rocial started to take on traits that told Elsinore that Rocial would someday join the side of darkness. Rocial was kept a close watch on. Elsinore’s prediction would come to pass, and it would force her to banish Rocial from ever returning to Spearia; however it never stopped her from trying, only when the time was right. In the meantime, Lady Elsinore being a keyblade master herself, Lady Elsinore learning her skills from the legendary keyblade master, Master Yen Sid. Lady Elsinore taught Alexiel the ways of the keyblade, when she discovered that Alexiel was able to wield a keyblade of her own.

However the keyblade that Alexiel would end up wielding would be one that many would not know about, the Heaven’s keyblade. Lady Elsinore herself did not know much about this keyblade, but together she and Alexiel would learn as much as possible. Elsinore was someone who was a hard trainer, and very strict, but this would help Alexiel break her shell of shyness, although realistically Lady Elsinore knew that not even her strict teachings would break Alexiel of this shell. It would have to be Alexiel herself that would break this shell, but only when she was ready to do so.

Also Aurora would help Alexiel train in many different forms of combat, including magical combat. Aurora always thought of Alexiel as a special girl who could anything that she set her mind to. Aurora would for the most part, keep to herself. She herself before coming to the world of Spearia, was born in another world, on the world of Gaia. However she was reborn on Spearia, and since then, her family was the main guardian of the ruler, as her mother before her held the responsibility.

Lady Elsinore is a woman of many mysteries, especially her hate of people not from the world of Spearia. It is something that she does not talk about. She knows all too well the faults of humanity that live in the other worlds. She trains with Master Eraquis and Master Xehanort under the guidance of Yen Sid. Elsinore always had a feeling of Xehanort, and that is heart would fall into the darkness, and that he could not be saved.

However before Alexiel would ever leave Spearia, Rocial did attack the realm; however her attempt would not be successful. This attack by Rocial would begin for Alexiel, the feelings of hatred she would have for her sister, never being able to understand why she would attack the realm where she was raised, and the people who took her in, despite the fact that they were abandoned in this world. They could have been killed, but instead were taken in, and Alexiel for all she was worth, wouldn’t ever understand Rocial’s thinking. She would however, let this event be the reason that she fights the darkness with a passion. Though Lady Elsinore’s training with the keyblade would be a countermeasure, to control Alexiel’s anger. However with Rocial's banishment from Spearia, not much is known in terms of where or Rocial's fate would be

When Elsinore tests Alexiel for her Mark of Mastery, Alexiel excelled very well, however Lady Elsinore knew that no one would accept the mark if it came from her. She explained that in her eyes, she was worthy of being a master; however she would need to prove herself worthy from another master. Lady Elsinore however still marked Alexiel with a marking, which would be Alexiel’s tattoo on her hand. Lady Elsinore decided that it was time for Alexiel to venture beyond the world of Spearia, that Alexiel could become a judge for herself, on the way humanity conducted itself. To determine if Lady Elsinore was wrong about people and they had qualities that would be redeeming, or to determine if she was correct in not trusting humanity and they did not deserve to be redeemed.
Alexiel also many secrets that even she is not aware of, although it will be revealed in time.

Rocial is the same age as Alexiel, an 18 year old, standing at 5'9", and looks completely identical to Alexiel. However Rocial is able to change how she looks, because she obtained illusion abilities, so she alters her appearance, She has black hair, and red eyes. She wears what is pictured in the Altered Rocial, except she would also wear black fingerless gloves as well.

She will earn other keychains as Alexiel through her attempts to not only destroy the worlds, but to also finish her sister off.

While Rocial's keyblade is in its sealed form, it is known a Harbinger, a sword that in every way, counters the sword of Salvation.

She is also able to wield Scythes with ease, but prefers to use Harbinger or Gehenna.

Backstory:
Rocial was born as Rocial Hikari, and is Alexiel's twin, however for as long as she has been around her sister, she couldn't stand how happy and how everyone was treating them like they were the same. She grew bitter of her sister, to the point where she caused everyone in Spearia to turn on Alexiel, of course the two more important ones to manipulate, were not able to fall under her spell. When Lady Elsinore and Aurora found this out, they banished her from Spearia and explained that she would never be able to return, since they could sense that her evil knows no bounds.

However before their decree would take hold, Rocial amassed a army of darkness, and tried to destroy Spearia, which lead in failure, because Alexiel was able to defeat her army's advance, and was then banished to wander the darkness.

So over time, Rocial's darkness grew, apparently her darkness was strong enough to attract the attention of Master Xehanort, which helped her awaken her keyblade. Because she did not obtain her keyblade until she was the age of 12. while Alexiel had obtained hers when she was 10. She trained to get stronger, for she knew of the day that was a prophecy in Spearia, and it apparently had to do with them. Rocial planned on that day, she would get her sister to fight her, and then end her life there.

However how loyal she was to Xehanort, not even Xehanort knew. that she has her own agenda, and she would do anything to see her plans come through. No matter who she hurt. Rocial's emotions were only of destruction, and making others suffer. Rocial is aware that she and Alexiel are different from the others, however she choses to keep this to herself, because it serves as something that she can use against Alexiel later.

Relevant Backstory:
Lady Elsinore was born into royalty, and was raised on how to be a leader. However when something happens to someone close to her, and believes that it was because of someone that was close to her, she felt betrayed. With the betrayal of her trust for this person and the actions that followed caused something to occur but humanity is unaware of what transpired; however the history of what happened and the people of Spearia remember. She then decides to train to become a keyblade master, under the guidance of Yen Sid with Eraqus and Xehanort, and was given the title of Keyblade Master. She then Ruled over Spearia ever since. She rules with fair and unbiased judgement with those who reside in her kingdom.
However it is not to say that she does not trust people outside of Spearia, the only one that she does trust, is King Mickey, although King Mickey is forbidden from telling anyone about his connection to her. However when Alexiel and Rocial came into the world, Lady Elsinore had a bad feeling about Rocial, and unfortunately it came to pass. Though Lady Elsinore has knowledge about many things, she does not allow herself to let it go to her head, because she knows that power can corrupt.

Other Relevant Notes:
She has keyblade armor that is slightly similar to Aqua's, but it is cobalt in color, and she doesn't have anything sticking out the back of the helmet.
Although she does not allow Spearia to be connected to the other worlds and is currently not connected to the main worlds, it does not mean that she has not been to the other worlds, because she has, but she doesn’t allow herself to be seen and in other worlds there are whispers of something or someone called the “Cobalt Warrior”.

Ever since, Aurora has dedicated her life to protect Lady Elsinore, and holds Elsinore with high respects. When Alexiel came into Spearia, Aurora trained Alexiel in many other battle techniques. She tried to train Rocial, but Rocial refused to follow the rules that Aurora set in place for her. Aurora always felt that Alexiel was like a daughter to her, but Aurora is not Alexiel's mother.
Aurora like Lady Elsinore is shrouded in many mysteries, such as why she always wears a white cloak?

Mainly just the use of his defensive Anti-magic spell. Allows for a small canceling dispel shield around himself. Does not work against light or darkness. Only really elemental projectiles or attacks affecting him. *Since I saw the character, most spells in Harry Potter cannot be stopped since most of them lack an element*
Other Skills:
He prefers speed and slowly widdling down enemies. Out right large and strong enemies are very difficult for him and he is also over reliant on his anti-magic from fighting magic beings. As such he will often get hit by any non-elemental projectile thinking it is magic.

Backstory:
Anchi has always been a soft spoken, level headed orphan. He grew up in the busy street of Cekenitha, an archipelago of islands that handled most of the trade between nations. It was his training here protecting people from the corrupt Wizards, Sorcerers, and Shamans. Anchi was gifted with Anti-magic which is what started his own crusade to fight against the magies.

When the great storm came Anchi was nowhere near strong enough to save even a single person. Waking up…he was no longer where he was. Unsure of the total destruction of his country the only reason he felt like he was saved was due to a blade that he thought he had dreamed of carrying along some “Magic-stream”…

Now with no knowledge of where to go he began his search where anyone else does, a place where people gather. A tavern or bar.

Weakness:
Other than his over reliance on Anti-magic and his aforementioned issues with larger enemies, he often acts a little too quickly before thinking and typically has a naive nature for anyone who does not use magic. This works against him with Mages as he is always suspicious of them.

**The world arcs of this RP will consist of the stops our heroes take over the course of the quest. Each world arc takes place in the native world of one of the new non-canon heroes, where the group will have to obtain one of the crystals of light by defeating one of the world-specific enemies Yami will be designing; this way, each hero and the guest characters of their native world will be given a fair share of the spotlight and a chance for the players to develop them however they want. There has been debates by scholars on other worlds of if the world of Kalenas was once part of the Crystal Universe of the Final Fantasy worlds. There is a balance of Light and Darkness in the world that is kept in constant check. When Darkness threatens to engulf the world, warriors are blessed by the Light of the world to fight it off and when the Light shines bright, warriors are born from the Darkness.

This is how outsiders percieved things, but what people had considered a balance of Light and Darkness is actually a balance of good and evil. More often than not, it is the Light the harbors good and the Darkness harboring evil, but that doesn't mean that the Light can't be evil and the Darkness can't be good as seen in the current state of the world.

In this age of the world, the Light has decided that the Darkness must finally be purged because it was nothing but a pit of evil. Creatures of the underworld were hunted down and killed. People that practiced dark arts were either imprisoned for 'reeducation' or were executed. Towns were purified of what was deemed wicked and the good souls were welcomed into the Light. As the Darkness tried to bring forth warriors to restore the balance, the Light sought them out and killed them before the could fight against it. Such is the state of Kalenas.

Ironworks Magitek Shifter - A weapon made of black metal with red magic power flowing through it. It is a constantly changing weapon, changing to suit the job class that Alinara is in.

Powers:
Call of Darkness - Darkness shrouds the battle field upon which that warrior stands. Vision is robbed by the thick darkness that light sources barely penetrates

Call of the Dark Crystal - Upon the journey Alinara will find dark crystal shards upon which will contain the knowledge of old warriors and fighting styles. She can call upon these shards to change herself, adopt a new fighting style and class. Each shard tends to unlock two new jobs for her.


Dark Knight: Ali's base class. A Warrior that uses one's own life to met out true justice. Uses a greatsword to fight. A defensive class.

Assassin: A ninja that has devoted one's life to the express art of killing. Speed and stealth is the abilities one uses most to deliever killing blows. Damage(physical) class.

Abysal Mage: A black mage that desired even more power than the ones she already had found a new source of it to draw upon with the Abyss. Commanding the dark arts of magic, none will escape the devestation wrote by one. Damage(magical) class.

Cultist: Worshiping a darker patron, this priest was labeled as a heritic and a cultist. Still honoring the arts of healing, the cultist will draw of himself to mend the wounds and ailments of others. Healing class.

Other Skills:
Blacksmithing (have to take care of her equipment)
Dark Vision - Able to see clearly even in the blackest nights.

Backstory:

With the zealous hunting down of the warriors of Darkness, not a single warrior has been able to rise to the task. Many if not all have been slain already. With powers already diminishing, the Darkness blessed on last warrior and cloaked it in it's own city and domain to hide her from the Light. Age was sped up and Knowledge was poured into her head even as she trained against living shadows. She learned the line of good and evil is never as clear as people make it out to be. The righteous choice didn't always lead to good intentions.

When the tides of war had reached the gates of the dark city, he knew that Alinara was not ready to take up the role of the Warrior of Darkness and still win the fight. So he embraced her within the void to send her off from the world, telling her that she must become stronger in order to restore the balance. She never did make it to his intended destination for her. Intercepted by Xenohart's group, she was pulled into their ranks as a pawn to use to bring darkness to worlds.

So far she has done their work with little questioning, but still doubts pile up, even as she inherits more power with shards for crystal darkness.

Powers: Raizel’s a powerful sorcerer in his home world of Lunar Novales. That specializes in elemental magic, and the ability to combined different elemental magic together. Though he does have skill in speed based magic and gravity magic, but not nearly as proficient in them as his elemental magic. However, because he is not used to being in other worlds his magic is reduced, and he can’t cast spells as powerful as they would be in his home world. Yet in worlds that have high levels of magical power he is able to access his power more.

Other Skills: Agility, Nocturnal eyes: This allows him to see in the dark naturally.

Backstory: Raizel was born a wizard in a world of warriors, and raised by the royal family as a weapon for their country. Being extremely gifted in the arcane art’s and because of this at a young age he became a member of the Arcane Knights. These knights are the peace keepers and enforce all of the laws that are proclaimed by the king, of the world and they are the most powerful mages in the kingdom.

As an enforcer he is responsible for catching rouge magic casters and because of this he had been sent out to track down such a wizard. Being able to easily complete his mission, he brought the young man in front of the King. Being sentenced in exile the young man started to scream. He struggled and tried to escape as he was begging to be killed instead of being exceled. This behavior caught Raizel by surprise. So, as the young man was being dragged from the room he fallowed the guards out of the castle and the city. Then they took him to a small shack that actually lead into a large building underground.

There he saw something that made him sick. They were forcing the young man onto a tube connecting wires and tubing to him. As Raizel looked around he saw hundreds of tubs like the one the child was in. Trying to get to the bottom of what this was he moved to a room with computers in it, and he worked to find out what this place was. His face went pale as he realized what this place was. Since Magic Casters depending on how powerful their magic is age slower than normal people. They ended up being a perfect power sours according to the paperwork he read.

So they were syphoning wizards of his magical energy, and using it to power the city and all the modern conveniences that the people enjoy.

Unfortunately, he didn’t get to escape with the knowledge that he had found. Some of the warriors found him, and was accompanied by the strongest spell caster in the land. Ending badly for Raizel he was brought before the King, and sentenced to excel without hearing anything he had to say. As he was being dragged away from the throne room Raizel cursed the King, and said he wished he never had served him. The next couple of moments were a bluer as he was escorted out of the city, and towards the small shed.

However, luck was on his side as the caravan was attacked by an unknown assailant. That attacked him as well as the others. The rest of the events were lost to him since something forced him into slumber. The next thing he knew he awoke in a small river in an unknown part of his world. A clocked figure was sitting on a rock with its back turned towards Raizel.

“What a weakling you are. Allowing people like them to get the best of you. You should be ashamed of yourself. How could you… Well never mind. You need to be ready.” Was all the dark figure said as they turned around and looked at the spell caster. Raizel was unable to see the persons face, but the figure pointed down beside of himself, and that was when he saw a weird key shaped blade that was glowing a pail white. When Raizel looked back up the figure was gone, and was replaced by little dark figures. Reaching for the makeshift blade and looking to his wrist to see there was no restrictor on him anymore he was ready to fight. But a light surrounded him and took him to a place he didn’t know.

Other: Raizel has two different markings on his body. There is a tattoo on his back symbolizing his rank in the Arcane knights. And the other is a birthmark that is on his upper left pectoral.

Is made up of all the darkness that exists in the people’s hearts. As with the Realm of Light, this realm has several Keyblade, one of with is the Kingdom Key D, which King Mickey had stolen. This is where Kingdom Hearts is located, in the deepest depths, though it can only be accessed when the Final Keyhole is unsealed, which it has been. This is also the home to all of the Heartless, and where the most powerful ones reside. However, that is not the only thing that exists in the realm of Darkness. Many different horrors still exist there that have yet to make themselves known to the realm of light.

Backstory: Nothing much is known about Noctis past. Only that he enticed Xehanort with the darkness, and seeks to return the worlds to Darkness. With Xehanort help, Noctis was able to free some of the creatures of darkness into the worlds of light.

From that day, forward Noctis has helped Xehanort in all of his plans. He has also seen many of the warriors of light that have entered his home world. He watched as Riku, and King Mickey walked the realm of darkness. Even as the infernal king took one of the keyblades of Darkness. He has even played games with Aqua who still wanders the darkness to this day.

Xehanort came up with an idea to capture the realm of lights strongest champion. With him out of the way then the Darkness would be able to infiltrate the realm of light easier. However, he knew that there was still going to be resistance. Nonetheless, he will still help Xehanort with his plans. Now Sora was captured, and hidden away. Thus, the real fight begins for the realm of light, and Noctis will stop at nothing to make the light fall.

Not really. In both of the previous versions, each player’s starting post (not including the opening post) generally featured each of the characters starting out in their respective worlds right before being attacked by the Heartless and/or other similar enemies and then suddenly finding themselves in Traverse Town, but that’s not necessarily set in stone, and the exact enemies being faced may vary.

Here are a few samples I picked up from the previous versions, if you would like a reference:

Vanigx was sitting near the entrance of Traverse Town when 12 heartless appeared in front of him. He said, "Time to have your data deleted, vile creatures. COME FORTH, TECHNOBUSTER!" Vanigx released his metallic buster sword-esque keyblade and swung it in wide arcs taking out the heartless until they were defeated and went to go wait inside Cid's shop. Cid said, "What brings you here, stranger?" Vanigx answered, "I want to stop the darkness once and for all. I will do so even if the cost might be my very life." Cid said, "Maybe you should stay in here and hope others come to help you." Vanigx replied, "I prefer to be outside to feel whole." Vanigx walked back out and sat down on the ground wearing his black coat with the hood up after vanishing his keyblade then meditated to patiently wait for the others and thought, "This fight is outnumbered, there are more darknesses than lights. I can't rely on my physical strength alone. I need help. Hopefully, the others will arrive soon. I must rally them together. I certainly hope they don't freak out by the coat I'm wearing." He sat silent and resumed his wait.

Raizel was sitting near a lake that was in the middle of the forest that he calls home since the day that he escaped his imprisonment. He hated the fact that with all of his power he was unable to free his fellow wizards. He just looked at his reflection upon the water.

He knew that one day his power would be strong enough to finally be able to free his kingdom from the king and his personal guard. Untill then he must continue to grow. He sighed and stood up turning to his home., but looked to the stars as he always did. It is said that each star is a different world, and that each world was connected once. But that was just an old legend.

As he watched the stars they suddenly started to disappear from the sky one by one. Raizel was shocked by this, but what concerted him more was that it was getting darker than normal.

It was different from the time the small black creatures attacked him the first time. It was like the world was falling to the darkness. Then suddenly the black creatures showed themselves, and they came in force. There were more than just those original shadows. Now he was fighting several different kinds of these creature, but what he didn't know was that there was someone dressed in a black coat watching the battle.

The moment Raizel let his guard down the man in black attacked his back. The shot of dark energy hit him straight on, causing him to fall into the darkness that was attacking him. Raizel could hear a laughing as the darkness took him.

Then suddenly a light surrounded him, converting him. "Don't let the darkness win! Remember you are never truly alone." A kind male voice rang through his mind, as he opened his eyes. A set of wooden doors were in front of him. He pushed them open to see what was beyond what them.

As he looked around the area he saw buildings that were foreign to him, and there was only one person in the whole courtyard area. He didn't know what happened, but it had something to do with the darkness that attacked him. He walked over to the boy to see if he knew where he was. "Pardon me but where are we?

The winds were calm tonight, as they seldom were in the City of the Dead. Atop a black horse, Ardeth rode slowly around the mostly barren landscape before him. The only hints left to betray any trace of Hamunaptra's existence were a few downed obelisks and other structures scattered throughout the otherwise empty sands, but the Medjai knew better. The Creature still lay buried somewhere beneath these sands, and it would still fall to the Medjai to make sure he stays that way, guarding the necropolis as they and their ancestors had for more than 3,000 years. But for now, thanks in no small part to the treasure hunters who'd just recently defeated the Creature, all seemed to be calm.

"I don't think I can do this, Father." Ardeth said thoughtfully after a moment, just as a faint breeze began to pick up. "You and every Commander before you kept the Creature safely buried, because you were willing to do whatever it took to keep him buried at any cost. But after the Creature rose from his grave on my watch, and after everything else I've seen since then... I don't think I can do that anymore. Too much innocent blood has been shed here..."

"It's true that most of the men don't approve of how you handled the situation." Sohail said. "How you let the surviving foreigners live."

"It was the least I could do for them." Ardeth replied firmly, straightening up. "They defeated the Creature; they succeeded where we failed."

"And if you hadn't let O'Connell go three years prior, or if you had killed him and his English employers when they came here, the Creature might never have been defeated. He might still be wandering this Earth, leaving the same destruction in his wake as he did when you faced him." Sohail explained, just as firmly. "For more than 3,000 years, we thought the deaths of a few innocents was the lesser evil compared to the risk of letting the Creature rise again. But you proved that we don't need to resort to such bloodshed; the others don't quite understand this yet, but I do."

Ardeth looked surprised; those had been his thoughts exactly, but he hadn't expected anyone else among his people to understand as much, let alone agree with him. Sohail just smiled.

"You've been Commander for barely a few years, Ardeth, but already you've shown more strength than I could ever have hoped for. I am proud of you, my son." Sohail said, placing a hand on Ardeth's shoulder. "Come; your mother is waiting for us back at camp."

As they both left Hamunaptra and began to ride home, Ardeth noticed the night sky becoming just a little darker, as though the stars themselves seemed to fade away one by one. Another breeze picked up, stronger than before, and suddenly several bright yellow eyes appeared and charged at them, frightening their horses.

"Those are the Creature's minions; I've fought them before." Ardeth said to his father, immediately recognizing the black bodies camouflaged in the dark of the night. The strange sword with the Eye of Horus symbol on it appeared in his hand as he charged at the beasts, felling several of them as his father proceeded to do the same.

But then suddenly a shot rang out, narrowly missing Ardeth, but distracting him enough that he fell off of his horse.

"Ardeth!" Sohail cried out. It was the last thing Ardeth heard before everything went black.


By the time Ardeth came to, he was clearly no longer in Egypt. The streets and buildings of this place were unfamiliar to him, and the glowing signs written in English in some places were unusual in and of themselves. But Ardeth was in no mood for sightseeing; those yellow-eyed creatures were loose again! Where was his father; was he still fighting those things alone?! They might even be attacking his people now, for all he knew!

Getting up off the floor, Ardeth kept the Eye of Horus sword at the ready as he began trying to navigate these unfamiliar streets, passing by a young girl and a white-haired boy along the way.

Alinara's eyes shot open, her hand quickly grabbing a dagger hidden under her pillow and stabbing it forward into a man that was just smiling down at her "Very good my child. You've improved your reaction from last time... Although it is still not enough. You would've been struck down already." He brushed away his long jet black hair and tugged the dagger out of his chest, shadows of darkness swirling around it and closing up the would with naught even a drop of blood spilled. "Either way, it is time to wake."

The white haired warrior sat up in bed as the man stepped off it. The ritual was a common one. Darkness would come in and wait for her to react to his presence and then she'd awaken and slam a blade into him. He'd shrug it off like usual and then their day would begin. She climbed out of bed and washed her face in the water basin before shedding her night clothes.

Her whole life was training to be a warrior and as such there was little fat upon her body except for her chest and even then not that much. She grabbed the black clothe from her dresser and slipped them on before stepping over to the armor stand. Black armor forged by Darkness himself. Changing with her as she grew up, staying the perfect suit of armor. "You have to though, don't you. Being perfectly one with me, connected into me."

She donned the armor, wincing as each piece connected and attached to her body, already feeding from her blood, making the lines of the armor red. With her armor fully donned she grabbed the dark steel great blade from it's case, sliding it into it's scabbard across her back before she stepped outside of the room and eventually the house. Outside it was dark. It was always dark. This was the final bastion of the Darkness from the crusade of the Light. Supporters and beings of the dark being hunted down and killed, all in the name of the righteous and holy Light. This was all that was left. One stronghold protected by Darkness himself.

A young man with long black hair was getting ready for the day, by placing on his white armor and placing his hair in a pony tail. He was getting ready to kill of the last of the Darkness’s rebellion against Light. Though he knew, Light was full of darkness. In this world, the roles were switched. That is what made it so easy for him to slip into his role, and become a general in the ranks of Light’s army. This attack was in the works for a while. However, when Noctis came to visit him just a little while ago giving him his new orders they just coincided so perfectly. His target for elimination just happens to be the last warrior of the Darkness, Alinara.

So now, he and his company were to march on Darkness’s last stronghold, and bring it down. However, he had orders from Light to bring Darkness back alive. So he opened a portal that would lead about three miles from where the stronghold was, and they would then attack. Everyone that was with him entered to portal.

As soon as they entered they appeared on the other side and marched down the way to where the encampment was. Soon everything will be in place, and he will get to Alinara kill her, and then capture Darkness so that Noctis can corrupt him as he did Light. None of the solders around him knew that what they were fighting for was nothing more than a plot that someone else has devised. “We only have one mission that is to destroy our enemies, but we are to take Darkness alive.” Kain said as he took his spear in hand, and ran into the camp. The rest of his troops fallowed right behind him. He immediately tried to find Alinara, and Darkness.

The darkness of day was like most others. Alinara walking with Darkness, discussing tactics they could use to end the bloody reign of the Light. What made this more different than others was when a horn was blown. "No... It's much too soon for them to have amassed a force to assault this place. It's too soon for you to face them..."

She strode forward as the sounds of fighting started to echo through the area. Necromancers calling up the dead, gargoyals coming to life to fling themselves at the foes. An army of warriors in dark armor charging into the fray. "I am ready father. I am ready to face the evil of the Light!" Darkness just shook his head at her, grabbing her by the back of her armor.

"No. You're not ready for this fight. We're out of time, but I know a way to give you time! COME!" He started running off to a temple of darkness and Alinara glanced over her shoulder to see the glint of golden forms descending on her fellow comrades and friends. She had to shut out their plight and run after Darkness into the temple, slamming the doors shut behind her.

Kain was making his way through the warriors of Darkness, and taking out any warrior that just happened to step in his path. Cutting down warrior after warrior as he looked for his target, and after a bit he found them running in the direction of what looked like a temple dedicated to Darkness. He smiled as he quickly made his way over to the temple when a black armored man stepped in his path to block it. “If you value your miserable life get out of my way!” Kain said as he charged at the man with his spear in hand.

The man didn’t move an inch at the warrior of Light. ”You will not get past me!” He said as he brought his sword down at his charging foe. Then suddenly the man disappeared from his sight, and he felt a searing pain in his back. Where the man’s spear was now embedded in his back. The man screamed, and then fell to the ground. Kain removed his spear, just as the doors to the temple closed.

He didn’t know what Darkness had planned, but he was not going to let them get away. He moved to the temple as quickly as he could, and opened the doors. As he walked in he pulled a small vile of green liquid, and poured some of it on his blade. This poison effects the nervous system paralyzing the muscles. Though not enough to kill the person, but enough to make it where they would not be able to move readily.

He moved into the temple to find Darkness and his little warrior. Making his way quickly through the temple he finally found who he was looking for. He moved to where they were with a smile on his face. “Well, well looks like Darkness and his little girl are trying to do something here. So are you ready to die, and finally end this war?” Kain said as he pointed his spear at the two.

Deeper and deeper they went into the temple until they finally came to a dead end of a room the was sometimes used for rituals. Once this had been a room that held a crystal of darkness, but it had been shattered by the hunting down of the Warriors of Darkness. Darkness led her away from the door to the end off the room, slicing his hand open with a dagger of shadows. "You still had much to learn child. Reasons why you are a chosen. However-" He looked upwards, feeling the presence of someone entering. "However, it is something you will have to learn from shards of knowledge. Past incarnations."

He poked her right in the chest. "Crystals are just physical embodiments of hope. The true form of a crystal is in the heart." She started to say something, but he shook his head, letting blood drip onto the pedestal. "I know you don't understand any of this now, but it shall make sense later." He turned to the door, pushing Alinara to the pedestal.

She climbed onto it, laying a hand upon the hilt of her blade. "Father... I don't want you to have to do this. Please let me fight with you..." Before he could give her an answer, the doors of the room were pushed open and a single arrogant warrior strode through it. Darkness just grinned, spreading his arms out as he stood between him and her. "ALINARA! WHAT IS THE TRUTH OF THE WORLD'S LIE?"

Alinara closed her eyes, nodding her head before she slammed her fist against her heart. "There is no Light. There is no Darkness. Only Good and Evil!" Darkness nodded and sent a huge flare of power through the room. The pedestal glowed around Alinara before she was enveloped in shadows, power surging through the room in a teleportation that could travel off world. As this happened he charged at Kain with a wall of darkness charging with him to slam into the warrior of Light.

Kain could only watch as Darkness and his little protégé were both looking at the door as he walked in, and Darkness stood between him and Alinara. This was not unexpected, but they had been up to something he could see that. She was standing on what looked like an alter, and Darkness had a smile on his face. This was not going to end well for them. Even if they had a plan, they were trapped like rats. Kain slowly made his way tires both of them when Darkness threw his arms out to the side saying something about the truth of the world.

After that, Alinara replied to her father. Then a surge of darkness filled the room, and the man ran towards Kain. Just as that was happening the girl started too disappeared into the shadows. “You might think that you saved her, but that is not the truth. She will die before too long, but not before she witnesses your broken body, and fully regrets living.” Kain said as he charged at Darkness as well…

Alinara never saw was happened next. She was engulfed in darkness that sped her across worlds while she rested in a stasis, searching for a safe haven from evil to put her at. Man places were passed up until finally a world was found. A simple world that was home to a town that was not corrupted by evil forces. The sphere of darkness that housed and protected her fell into the world, crashing to a stop in the slums.

She awoke from her stasis, the darkness fading into the shadows around her. She didn't recognize the place she was in at all. "This doesn't look like a village from where I'm from... The architecture is much too different... I probably should have paid more attention to the astral lectures..." She pulled herself to her feet, making sure she had her sword slung across her back and started to explore, searching for someone that could possibly help her.

Vanigx sighed as he woke up in the vacant house in the first district of Traverse Town but was confused as to why he was there, but not back home. It was at that moment that Dark Bahamut spoke to him in his mind. “It seems that this location has you startled and confused. Just relax and you’ll eventually reach your goal. I chose you to atone for your sins. Now get out and do what you do best.” He nodded as the voice subsided before going outside and looked around.

Merlin had thought moving his tower to this lost forest would have been the perfect place to train other keyblade wielders.

But Rafe it seemed after his revival had lost most of his talent but refused to take the time necessary to retrain himself. These thoughts and even more unsavory musing crossed the ageing wizards mind as yet another bout of dust fell over the table he was trying to sip his tea at. Above him he could hear the three good faeries fussing after the boy.

"You have to stop, you're going to destroy everything."
"That's right you have to be more careful magic shouldn't be abused."
"Girls you shouldn't get so close to-"

another muted explosion rocked the room before there was finally silence and the three faeries came floating out of the training space Rafe was using.
"I take it the lad is unconscious again?" Merlin asked striking a match for his pipe.
"Yes, though honestly if it wasn't for our own magic he'd probably be dead." One of the faeries replied, Merlin wasn't really paying attention as his head was tilted up toward the ceiling. "Jehosophat, this lad is the most stubborn I've seen in an age. One has to wonder what can drive someone to this level of self destruction."

"He does mention from time to time a "Master of Masters" apparently he sees this person as an enemy... or at least a villain I'm afraid we aren't really able to take his mind off of it."
Flora offered shaking her head.
"ever since we used our powers to reforge his keyblade he's been like this."

Merlin paced about the room puffing on the pipe before he rapped his wand against a table. "I'll see to the lad personally first thing in the morning then if he want's to destroy himself with magic then I suppose I'll just have to lock his power away until he can learn to use it."

Unfortunately for the well intention wizard Rafe wasn't actually unconscious only winded from the latest failed attempt to cast a spell. "No way old man, I can't let that happen." He muttered to himself grabbing his keyblade again. He was sure he had enough power to open a gate but he wasn't entirely sure where he would go, as the light overwhelmed his vision Rafe passed out from exhaustion as he heard the sound of running water echoing off stone walls.

I’m scared…I’m weak…I have no idea if we can do this…but together…as long as someone else is fighting…I need to be there.

Standing on the port of Cekenitha, Anchi looked towards the forbidden continent. They had been tricked…they had destroyed the light, Air, and water crystals. Things had been degrading and now with half of them taken away Giberian revealed himself to be a traitor and was now making an effort to find and destroy the last three crystals. At first Adelaide had suggest they find and keep them safe but that would require that they could find information faster than a God…it was impossible. Instead Rowlis and Caliban had suggested that they just take the fight to Giberian while he was still only at fifty percent of his strength. It would still be a colossal task but they were all betting on one thing. Getting Anchi to Giberian. With his anti-magic…he was a hard counter to this threat. As such Rawlis had made him a Bloodblade capable of harnessing Anchi’s powers. This living blade had the same anti-powers as Anchi…hopefully it could slay a Magic God.

On the ride towards the forbidden country they had a meeting. Adelaide head of the Cekenithan mercenary guild, Rawlis chieftain of Skithra and head craftsman, Caliban unkown assassin and balancer, Toerth ex-Deqwenian slave and auramancer, and Anchi farmboy turned lowborn solider for the Relindan Army. Together they left their other friends, some went in search of the crystals but this small group were decided to go the distance and try to end things here a now. Together they drank and ate, knowing full well that come tomorrow they would potentially never see each other again.

“Hang in there!” Adelaide was their leader and she was unconscious. She had been fighting so many by herself that Anchi could not help but go back for her. Currently he was fighting off these…bizarre dark shadow creatures. Caliban somehow managed to defeat them but anytime anyone else attacked them they would vanish only to re-appear later. “Rawlis get over here and heal her!” Rawlis was a craftsman, defender, and blood mage. He needed to be protected.

Caliban was the strongest taking on the bigger shadow figures. Toreth was with Rawlis as they made their way over to where he was. Toreth had taught Anchi how to use his blade and as such they fought together well. The other gods…the ones that were left had petitioned to support each of them in their endeavors. This was why they should have had a clear way straight to the heart of the country. That was clearly a lie…

A sudden scream caused Anchi to turn and look. He saw a large ice spike smash into Rawlis’ back. As he fell unconscious on the floor Anchi looked up to see Peropia…goddess of Ice and Betrayal. “You…!” Anchi ran over and watched as Rawlis was being dragged down by the shadows along with Adelaide. “Toreth!” He watched as even he was overwhelmed his form hard to make out.

Anchi looked towards Peropia and said, “Why! You’ll be destroyed too!” Peropia gave nothing to him. No explanation, no words, nothing. Anchi gipped his blade. His friends needed him. How could he save them from the darkness? He couldn’t hurt these creatures. Peropia merely pointed forward and as hard as he fought…eventually he too was pulled into shadow. He tried desperately but whatever magic this was…he could not dispel it.

He floated…in what felt like a lake of darkness. He could not see anything he could not feel anything. All he thought was how he had failed and that Peropia had done what her title said. She laid a trap…to what end…he did not know. He floated for what felt like an eternity and he wanted it to end. He could not move…only feel the current of wherever to wherever. When would it end…?

He felt heavy…his eyes slowly coming to life. He blinked a few times, the bright light…light?

He slowly picked himself off the floor. Was he…in an alley? There was stone under him so it must be a larger town. As he got to his hands and knees he felt himself buckling under his own weight. “Not…dead…Yet” As he stood up he leaned against the wall. There were lights…and sounds…where?

Suddenly images flashed of his friends getting sucked into darkness. “Adelaie…Rowlis…Claiban…Toreth…” He looked around and saw no one. He felt like he had fallen too. “Peropia…” Anger flooded him but first thing was first. If he was here…then maybe his friends were. With that spark he slowly peeked around the wall. He though he saw people…everything was calm.

“Not at war…and clearly a safe town…act natural…” He felt like he did not look like he fit in. What with armor and things. His sword was missing too. He needed to get a new one. For that matter…he needed money. “Ahh shoot…I’ll have to find work too.” He shifted slightly.

“First things first…new place…check a tavern for information.” He nodded and decided that would be what he would do first. With that he walked his way into what he would eventually learn was Traverse Town.

Price will be going to a funeral tomorrow and may need one or two more days afterward, but he says he’ll be ready to post in the opening co-op after that.

Mina stands to be about a 5'6" silver haired curvaceous beauty of a princess. Native World: Crystal Oasis City. The shinning city sits on a rushing waterfall is surrounded by the sea and a lush forest across the bridge where much of the city's resources come from. The city's economy is mostly based on surrounding sea having the most fresh food from the sea as well as from the farms from the forest. The people of the city have a bit of magic through a decent amount of the population. The city of overseen by a magical, wise, kind, and strong king and queen with children following in their footsteps. The royal family resides in the crystal tower within the city where the waterfall falls from and into the sea. The magic emitting from the city have drawn in other magical entities such as some mermaids and fairies which can be occasionally seen, but mostly around dusk and dawn.

Her weapon was made special by her father and her mother in honor of their family name with the ability to cast magic spells using the bow with a cost at its effectiveness of the spell. Her mother enchanted it to look like a bracelet until summoned into a bow to make it easier to transport.

Wilhelmina is also a good singer which is important for the Queen when leading several special events for the people.

Born as the second child, but first daughter to the royal family is an important role that has been kept secret. Only the Queen truly knows what the first daughter's responsibilities are to be passed down through the family with the first daughter typically becoming the next queen. Wilhelmina's life was now destined since her birth, so her life was now going to be dictated for her to be groomed to be the next queen after her mother. As a child she was to learn various magical spells, culture, reading, writing, archery, self defense, and much more making it so her mother and teachers taught her at home while her siblings were able to learn at the school with other children. It was almost as if she was confined to her home and was rarely seen out except for special events that happen within the city.

As a teenager desperate for escape, Wilhelmina did her best to follow in her mother's footsteps but sometimes it was too much for the silver haired princess. One day she left the palace to visit the rest of the city which the people welcomed the sight of their princess as a treat with the resemblance of her mother's personality within Wilhelmina. Mina enjoyed her time visiting shops, talking with the people, and helping out her subjects as best she can especially those with the younger child that weren't in school. After some time school had let out for all the children so she walked with her siblings back home feeling worried about what her mother would say because of her unexpected leave. Larson reassured her that their mother will be fair even if Wilhelmina would get in trouble while Syrena held onto her sister's hand happy to spend time with her.

At home that afternoon, Queen Stella awaited her children's arrival with a welcoming smile then told Larson and Syrena that she need to talk to Wilhelmina alone. The siblings wished their sister luck then the mother and daughter were left alone for a small moment of silence. Queen Stella asked Wilhelmina to follow her into the library where the Queen removed a strangely marked book where the bookcase easily slid open, Wilhelmina had once signed her name in as a child at her mother's request. The bookcase entrance lead to a place deep below the tower where the power of magic seemed to surged from a secret place only know to the Queen and the first daughter of each generation.

Soon they were in front of a set of old fashioned white double doors with beautiful stain glass with gold fixtures. Her mother told her one of the past queens made this room they were about to enter with this door that looks like another door she had once seen though not much else is known about this room. Wilhelmina nodded in awe of everything that was happening then her mother asked Wilhelmina to try and open the door. Wanting to be ever so careful with the door giving it a push though it didn't seem to budge. Her eyes travel anxiously to her mother who told her only the Queen and first daughter can open the door which cause Mina to panic. Queen Stella offered her daughter a gentle pat on the head, "It's okay, my darling. Most of the women first try comes with resistance just like your mind is resisting access to the magic of the door to open for you. Even I had trouble when I first open the door with my mother. Open your heart and mind to the magic of the door then it will open for you. I know you are destined to be the next queen to open the door, believe in yourself as your people and I do for we all love you." Wilhelmina smiled a soft glowing one of resolve nodding in agreement to try again.

Taking a deep breath, Wilhelmina pushed the doors open now with ease feeling the sense of old magic from the previous queens flow around her filling her with a deep sense of pride within her. The doors opened to a large brightly lit white room filled with life like replica statues that looked like the previous queens holding what her mother called keyblades in their hands with a plaque that had the queen's names and the keyblade's names, each woman and their keyblade looked perfectly beautiful it was amazing. At the end of the walkway must of been the first queen where the bloodline of magic all started.

It was then Queen Stella began the explains the history of the queens and the first daughters responsibility to protect the people from the darkness, but should the darkness arrive at least one must staying here to protect the city and the people within while the other to ventures off to destroy the darkness for good though it had yet to come to that according to the city's history. "It's come time for you to call upon your keyblade, the weapon that can defeat darkness used by a person with light in their hearts. The First Queen was said the be an embodiment of the light and even created this room passing down the guide from each queen to first daughter to continue the cycle. With each woman they seemed to have a keyblade that best represent them, so each looks different from the last. Try to summon your keyblade with your heart, I know you can do it, my darling," Queen Stella says then lifts her hand up summoning her own to show her daughter how it's done. Wilhelmina nods with slight excitement following her mother's example summoning her own keyblade which made her squeal with joy, her keyblade looked so amazing since she loved the moon and how it was designed.

After the talk they had the girls came to an agreement where Mina can venture out into the city whenever she wants as long as Queen Stella makes a set schedule for Wilhelmina's studies and training. Several years passed with the royal children growing older and wiser with Larson learning to be a royal adviser and acting king to help Wilhelmina at his own request, Wilhelmina is well versed and skilled in all that she's learned though she still learning how to be the next Queen, while Syrena is about to finish school considering her own bright future though she'd love to help her siblings somehow but she's not well versed in magic like her older siblings.

Biograghy: Damon was abandoned as a boy, and taken in by Banon, the leader of the Returners: the rebel group that opposes the Gesthalian Empire. Redeemer and his foster brother would grow up to fight The Empire in the Southern continent of the World of Balance when Imperial troops marched on the three cities that their capital shared the continent with: Tzen, Albrook, and Maranda. While the battle to stop the Empire's advancement was ultimately lost, Redeemer and Destroyer would survive this travesty. Redeemer only remembers a wild wolf sniffing and licking his face when he woke up washed up on a beach. The canine was quite sweet to him and aided him as he recovered from the physical trauma war can bring. Eventually, he would name the wolf Fenrir. Fenrir followed him back to the Returner's Hideout and would sometimes join him on adventures as he sought to take down The Empire every step of the way.
