Location: Sierra Dome, Sector 8
Chronological Time: Friday, October 2, 2199 P.N.W (Post Nuclear War)

Zensuei Iamarsa sat at his circular desk in the middle of his personal office. Overlooking a microfiber glass floor that had the tensil strength to take a tank round. The office itself was dark and forboding, with a single lamp light. As well as his personal laptop running on a dillithium battery cell. The central network for the entire Sierra Dome was logged in. As he typed upon the laptop at a heated speed of over one hundred and fifty words per minute.

The office was enclosed and the plasma bulbs were on their lowest possible setting. As Zensuei silently typed through diagrams of pet projects. There was a single elevator at the front of the office. It would only go up for visitors, and down for registered users. Only a handfull of people actually had access to the underground enclosure. Few would hardly be able to discern that there were in fact glass tubes a mile below this office.

This location wasn't supposed to exist. Due to the many mandates the World Parliaments docuement shredding. This place was off the map entirely, and would likely be denied to have ever existed. But that didn't mean that there were those out there who didn't know of it. Right now Zensuei was in the process of cleaning up a certain 'mess' of things that had occured a month prior to now.

One of his pet projects had managed to escape. And took a few of the security personal out in his escape. The amount of black tape that Zensuei had to go through unnerved him to a point. Even the explanation to families who'd lost loved ones was tedious and unrelenting. But thanks to the Angelous families charitable donations. And ramping up of security forces, to mechanized cybernetic humanoids introduced to the Sierra Dome.

The next escape would become much harder for anyone locked inside the 'Vault'. But explaining it to his supperiors was the hardest thing of his job. At which point made Zensuei wish he'd remained a 'tracker' for the Angelous family.

"Command to Alpha team, report status of mechanized humanoid units."

Though he wore no communication badge. His computer had a voice locked link to any location inside the Sierra Dome. One of the more useful ways he communicated commands to his subordinates. He sat behind his seat curling his fingers together. As images of the security details flashed upon the many hidden audio/video record units located in the lights.

Elsewhere..

Thrallitarq wandered the subteranean of what once was Los Angeles. All that could be said about the once booming metropolis of the American Pacific Coast. Ist that the one beautifal skyline was a depressing and mangled mass of metal and concrete. But that didn't nescessarily mean that all life here had ended. In the underground tunnels subways, and sewer system life was much more depressing. Then even the most horrific hollywood masterpiece, past or present.

People still lived, but many died on a daily basis, the only reason that people had breathable air. Was due to the fact that someone had irrigated the subways and waterways to support a thriving community of plants. That were hard to defeat in nature. That being said some parts were delegated to growing Kudzu, a plant found in the american south-east. Down here even with the little water. The plant seemed to such the nutrients up and produce breathable air.

Moisture often accumulated to the ceiling forming a thin but breathable atmospher. Water fell as dew where the humans with genetic mutations. Sometimes humans with cancerous like growths, others with mangled bodies. Who looked absolutely horrible to watch. Still lived underneath the streets. Using any means to collect water fromt he moisture.

A familiar face appeared his violet hair hidden underneath a brown cloak. He traveled along familiar caverns, fully guided by memmory. His crimson eyes would glance at some of the other humans, though some were mangled. Others looked at him with toothless grins. While some refused to look back, but respected him anyway.

Some of the other mutants would gather in the center of Los Angeles. To discuss a strategy for hitting up a World Parliament Convoy. Some were hungry, others were dying. All because these people were considered 'undesirable'. Must give the Aristocratic assholes a reason to refuse helping them survive. Thus the Mutants banned together behind Thrall to fight to survive.

Thrall stood at the center of the sewers the four corners where his comrades. Would inevitably join him. Thrall himself had been alerted that a convoy from Oakland Dome was en route to an undisclosed location. Numbering at least ten or more. Looking up Thrall noted a brown and dirty string. Where he pulled it, starting a chime of bells that sounded and bounced in the underground. This basically meant all who were able to fight to come here.

Looking up above the sewer line, past the thick mist from plants. Thrall looked up to the sky. As incandescent yellow hues of uranium isotope blot out a once blue sky. Thrall himself could hardly believe from the oldest of mutants. That the sky itself had once been blue. It seemed like the kind of thing the Aristocratics would feed them to keep peace.

"Heres to the lies you feed us you rich fuckers."

Sigma: The Convoy was en route to it's destination, passing through the once beautiful landscape that was California, now is scorched, and dead. the Ten transports soon passed over the border to Los Angeles, approaching the ruined metropolis. at the front of the convoy, the lead truck, Jessica Angelous, in her combat armor, sat at the passengers seat next to the driver, scanning her surroundings as they drove throughout the city.

As they were halfway in the city, the exact location was unknown, possibly in the center of Los Angeles. the lead truck's engine begun acting up, making various sounds and little booms until the driver put it into a complete stop. the rest of the convoy followed in and ceased movement. Jessica turned to the driver, "What happened?" she asked, her voice muffled by the helmet.

"Just engine troubles, ma'am" he replied. "We'll get to it."

She nodded and grabbed a comm-device. "Alpha and Zeta Teams, deploy. guard the convoy in case we encounter any trouble." she sat the device down and stepped out the truck, loading her rifle. she scanned her surroundings once more, feeling uneasy.

Insanity Angel: In a small office Aubrey Alex Cole sat at her desk as she examined so reports she had just gotten on Project Zero. With her long black hair tied back into a bun and her lab suit on Aubrey more resembled an old doctor than a young twenty-five year old molecular biologist. Putting down the reports she stretched and yawned, everything appeared to me normal inside him, he was perfectly healthy. Though she couldn't help but fell bad for him, he was just a young boy that could have a life. All this annoyed and worried Aubrey to no end, she of course was also and experiment baby and look at her know, a well known Molecular Biologist with a relatively normal life. Standing up she walked out of her office, deciding that getting some coffee and food would be good for herself.

Down in the cafeteria Aubrey sat at a small metal table in front of her a large coffee and a sticky bun. As she ate Aubrey looked around the cafeteria she notice most of the people around her were about ten years older than herself. She even noticed that she remember a lot of them from her childhood from either school or from the people who created her. Needing to get out Aubrey picked up her coffee and sticky bun, she walked out deciding to go pay a visit to Zero as she had been use to calling him.

Coming to his room Aubrey carefully opened the door and peaked inside. There seemed to be no other scientist is the room, so Aubrey stepped inside, a smile on her face. "Hey, there kid" she whispered the room was dark and couldn't see if he was awake or not. Aubrey pulled up a chair besides his bed and at down. "I brought a snack" she said holding up her uneaten sticky bun.

Laying down in bed deep penetrating green eyes. Would open and look to the only friend or close human in his life. A yawn stiffled from his mouth the room wasn't a luxurious sweet. But something that would drive even a Parliamental Soldier to insanity. Witht he dark lighting and few creature comforts. Daily lessons from a Network Restricted laptop. A bathroom and bed, along with a book shelf containing only a handfull of novels.

He sat up stretching his arms, his body was pale. Almost albino looking at first glance containing very little melanin in pigment. But those green eyes were a strange facet of Zero altogether. They almost seemed to contain a rare bio luminescience to them. A rare smile reserved only to Aubrey came to the teens face. The sticky bun of course was one of Zero's few favorite foods. That were allowed in his daily diet supliment.

Reaching out the Zero was a socially akward human life. Most of what he said could be painted across his face clear as day. Words were the last resort of how he communicated his feelings. However for Aubrey she was the only human being Zero could ever open up to in earnest. A look of thanks was given as Zero's eyes met hers. It seemed he had something on his mind as well.

"I had a dream..A dream we went to the surface and found new friends."

Although Zero didn't take his dreams seriously. For Aubrey this would be a time when she could note a 'precognition' occured. And that the Mobious of Psionic activity was still ever present within Zero's mind. As he ate the sticky bun with added interest. A look would be shared between them. He wondered about anything beyond the Sierra Dome all the time.

"Have you ever been outside the Sierra Dome, Aubrey?"

Los Angeles

The once famed city of Los Angeles, a veritable ruin. The city had more sand accumulating in it. Then even the days when people once covered every street corner. Skeletal remains littered the ground, of once a booming metropolis. The wind brought in more sand from the outlying death valley dessert. It was quiet along the route of the convoy. Almost to quiet for the trained fighters that often dealt with silent aggressors.

Atop a ruined office factory stood Thrall. Wearing a brown leather cloak, crimson eyes scout the convoy and counted the security detail as they disembarked. Breathing into a uranium filtration device. Thrall spoke mentally to his chosen squad, using a mobile device like a hands free communicator.

"Prepare the assault, Strong Arms, block them in."

Two cloaked figures from the alleyway of the city pushed metro busses. Out in front of the street to block the convoy from moving forward. This cloaked figure breathing through the same filtration device. Both standing at a height of 7'2 heaved the bus in front of the convoy. As a temporary blockade, shoving it the rest of the way forward. He would turn and run back to the alleyway.

The other twin to the first blocked the convoy from the back. Using a fire truck, the convoy fully blocked by both sides. Thrall nodded knowing there was little time, before the soldiers would react. Thus he got onto the communication device to signal the rest of his squad.

"Pyro, make it hot for 'em. Steele Take point and knock the shit out of the grunts."

Atop a second story apartment building balls of flame shot out from the window. All of a sudden the ball split up into ten seperate balls of flame. Each convoy was struck and heated up to over 350 degrees Farenheit. The temperature was more then enough to make the normal grunts exhausted from the heat.

Then a fellow with a height of six feet would walk forward. As the soldiers would try to save face and exit the convoy. They were met by a man who suddenly took a rare composite steel form. Bullets and electricity would be useless against him. The bullets and electromagnetic rounds would merely bounce off him. As an electromagnetic round hit. The fellows body would merely absorb the electric current. As that unlucky soldier would have his face pounded by cold electric steel. His gun would explode from the electric current running through his body.

As more soldiers were pounded from flame and cold steel. Thrall would watch the onslaught without a sense of remorse. He viewed himself and his cause justified. They needed supplies for his sick and dying people. He didn't seem to think anyone in this squad a threat. But there were also times he could be wrong of course.

Sigma: Jessica sharply turned her head to see their path blocked by two buses, and their exist blocked by a fire truck. what came next caught her and her men off guard, as they the convoy was struck by balls of flame, and a man with steel skin, approached them at the front, taking out a few of the grunts who resisted. "Goddamn mutants....they've been waiting for us...." she thought to herself, "I can't let them damage the prototypes....looks like I'm forced to use them..." Jessica turned her attention to one of the nearby soldiers. "You! get over here!" she ordered him, pointing towards him. he complied and ran up to her. "Yes. Ma'am" he asked.

"She pointed to the five truck in the middle. "Open the back. quickly!" she ordered. "There are weapons stored inside that will be effective against the mutants. the code to activate them is Cleanse" , the soldier had a confused tone in his voice, "Uhh...ma'am, what weapons are these exactly?" he asked, she shook her head as a response, "That's all I can share for now, just carry out your orders." he simply nodded to her, running to the five truck. while she now turned to face the tall mutant. pulling out her assault rifle, firing a few shots at him to get his attention. "Hey bastard, think you can hit a lady?! come here and dance!"

(This music playing below)

As the soldier came up behind the truck. there was a Keypad. he pressed a few buttons to unlock the back. as the hatch rises, the soldier gasped at what he was seeing. inside the truck, on the left side, were two cybernetic humanoid combat units. but there were different, a new Type never seen. they're design looked more of a metallic lizard then a humanoid. they're backs were hunched and had long sharp claws, and stood around five feet tall. the soldier climbed in, and saw a third, however this one was different. it would be considered a monstrosity. it' was a union of flesh and machine, it's face was obscured by a breathing device of sorts, and a scoop implanted where the left eye should be. and it's left arm was converted into a weapon of sorts, "What the fuck?" the soldier muttered to himself.

UNITS READY FOR DISPATCH. ACTIVATION CODE PLEASE

The soldier turned to his right, seeing a console, he walked over, and began typing. "C-L-E-A-N-S-E" he spelled as he typed.

CODE VERIFIED.......ACTIVATION COMPLETE

Soon all eyes of the three units flared with life as they slowly took steps, and then quickly disembarked from the truck. the leader of the three, the cyborg, spoke in a robotic, yet monstrous voice. "Targets identified.....terminate mutant threat....."

The bullets would ridle off the steel framed body of the one called Steel. Then the figure would lurch forward with a quick movement and hulk a soldier over. Flinging the soldier into range of Jessica. Steel would move behind that soldier to take her out of the fight. A cold grin would come to the steel face mans face. As he quickly gripped the assault rifle and clenched it with steel. Letting her fire rounds uselessly into his steel framed chest.

But a soldier had already managed to get inside one of the cybernetic suits. While nearby Thrall grew concerned for his comrades. As the unit powered up to wage the fight against his comrades. He quickly shook his head at that and began to power up. Instantly eight fleshy apendages sprouted from his back. Muscles would ripple. As his body would increase adrenaline flow exponentially. He charged forward to the Cyborg Unit at breakneck speed.

"What have we here? New pieces of shit to continue the cleansing crusade against the mutant threat? You Parliamental Millitary bitches are all the same. If it you can't do it yourself make a big robot to pilot and help you do it!"

His speed was astounding, as he cleared the roofs of each building nearby. He would quickly launch over to the fire truck. And jump behind it, gripping the fire truck from behind he'd lift it up. And flip the huge machine over toward the cyborg unit. Meanwhile, Steel would rush forward and grab Jessica by the wrist. And quickly run from the rolling fire truck. Breaking through a nearby factory with his steel bulk. Throwing her down into a wall, Steel grew heated with contempt.

"You bitch, you still believe we need to be cleansed?!?! You millitary fucks will get the same treatment you gave to my dying wife!!"

Rushing forward the Steel framed man would run forward Then quickly grip the chest piece of her combat armor. With a right hand he would punch the chest piece until he could hear cracks form around it. Grabbing a nearby chain he would hook a noose together. And throw it around her nearby neck hooking it around her neck from behind. His boot would slam into the back of her neck. As he pushed her to the ground.

"Not only am I going to do to you what your comrades did. I'll let you live to tell the tale and suffer for being a weak millitaristic whore!"

Hanging the coil around a beam Steel would tie the loop around. And hang her high enough to where she would be conscious to feel what was happening. Then after he got her attention. A cold hearted grin came to his face, as his hand broke through the crack in her armor. Breaking into it he tore the armor off her front, and her uniform off her chest.

Hanging her there aimlessly the steel framed man stood there. A cold look of hatred and loathing was shared between the two. Nothing else could've prepaired her for the next thing set to happen. Her lower uniform was ripped open exposing her soft and delicate skin. Only her helmet was left so as to keep her breathing and alive.

Then he dropped his pants as a memory that would burn into her eyes would occur.

***

Thrall had noticed that Steel was subduing the female officer. He also knew that Steel had a vendetta against all millitary for what Parliamental Soldiers. Since she begged for help and they turn around raped and killed her. Even though he was still Steel's friend. He didn't approve of what he could be doing right now. He would have a conversation with him later.

But that was the least of his worries. Thrall still had no idea where the cybernetic unit was at. But at that point his eyes spot the cyborg ahead of him, as it might have escaped. Quickly Thrall gave chase to subdue it quickly. Or face a surge in more Parliamental Forces down here. And since they didn't need the added exposure. Thrall had to use everything at his disposal to keep the amount of escapees down.

Sigma:The Cyborg units fled to the top of the factory, waiting for thrall to follow suit. it turned to see him approaching, then chuckled deeply. "Unit 002, provide the commander assistance...... Unit 001, keep mutant resistance at bay......I will engage Enemy Commander...."
"Roger" the others replied. one of the machines ran to the nearby factory, the second remained with the convoy and soldiers to fight off any other mutants.

***
"You sick mutant motherfucker!" she screamed at him with all her might. "There will be hell to pay! do you know who my brother is! he will stop at nothing to kill your ugly ass! your wife probably deserved...."

However she was interrupted by a loud crashing, banging sound, as the cybernetic humanoid combat unit crashed in, scanning the area. finding two life forms, one was the mutant, and second was the commander. "Target identified......engage." it droned as it charged towards him, it's long sharp claws ready to strike. Jessica then proceeded to laugh. "Consider this payback! asshole!"

Excalibur: Malx was nursing the mutants in his sector, porviding a smiple food broth with some of the mushrooms they have managed to grow.

"The king and his men
stole the queen from her bed
and bound her in her bones.
The seas be ours and by the powers
where we will we'll roam."

Matronly Gale walked calmly over from her station mending blankets into clothes and clothes to blankets.

"Your melancholy mood will be felt by the rest of them."

"Posh, you worry wort. I was singing a song of determination, of survival, and a policy of I will go where ever hell I want as I please."

The splash of someone running in the sewers caught Malx's ears. The dim red lighting of the luminescent plants and moss did not give him a good picture of who it was until he almost decided to freeze her solid.

"Malx, Frost, The bells have been sounded"

"Holy shebs Thorn, I nearly froze you solid. Announce youself before you get right up to me next time."

"Yes sir"

The young Thorn looked anxious for approval. Malx/Frost rolled his eyes. The young can be so agravating sometimes

"You did good girl. Get your sister, Slag, and Knight and head up top. It is time to activate the plan."

A dark figure in all black appeared behind Frost like an aparition, as the little girl ran off to do her duty.

"You were once like that."

Frost jumped started that his old master got the jump on him again.

"You old bastard, can you not do that, Shade?"

"Of course not it is too much fun. It is a good reminder that you are not at your peak yet."

"Well are you ready old man? Make sure they come back alive. It is their first real raid by themselves you know."

"Oh the hardened Frost does have a heart after all?"

"Oh shut up you dust bucket and get going."

Shade gave a sarcastic salute as he disappeared within the shadows.

Gale looked worried.

"You sure they will be alright?"

"Ofcourse, the plan is as Thrall's group ingauges the main guard at the front of the train. They will take apart the soft sweet spot that travels miles behind. The top-siders do not know where we are based because we move around after a successfull raid or two, and we have never raided during the Deep Winter before. Thrall is a good smart leader. Thor picked well."

"I still worry about my young ones, even when they are grown, Malx."

Gale gave a look Malx, now section leader Frost, that only the Mother Matron could give. The look showed her worry, and it scared Frost a little bit.

"Don't worry. If you can't trust me, then trust Shade. The old fart is a damned genius and will protect them in this world and the next. Now, I've got to haul it to top-side as well. I am part of the crisis crew and will provide a diversion for Thrall's squad when they want to bust out."

Frost ran at a gallop to the closest porthole topside. He had to hurry, or he would be late and more mutants would die today.

-----------
( Sound of Madness)

Frost had just made it to Thrall's side.

" huff Huff, Shade's crew has begun their part and so far;so good."

A new mecha unit had started to make for them at an astonishing pace. At a better scan around there were 3 of them. One was making its way to a busted up building and another was firing away at Pyro and Strong Arm adding its firepower to the surviving caravan guard that corner seemed to be in a stalemate.

Shin.Aether

Steel had taken the gun from the commander girl. And thrown it to Thrall as Thrall had spot the three mechanized units converging on them. A quick hurling with his arms hurled an oil barrel at one of them. With quick aim and reaction time a couple of bullets had impact the barrel. And ignited the contents within in a blazing inferno. Looking to Steel; Thrall shouted with a commanders ire.

"STEEL YOU STUPID VENGEFUL SON OF A BITCH! STOP RAPING THE COMMANDER AND HELP ME WITH THESE FUCKING CYBER UNITS!"

Steel turned toward Thrall and blinked a few times. Suddenly knocking out Jessica in a fit of rage that he hadn't been finished. Pulling his pants up the steel plated man resumed his fighting form. The brute would then charge one of the units in tandem brushing through the flames like they were nothing.

He would quickly slam into one of the units and knock it flat on the ground. While using a lamp post to bash the cockpit containing the pilot. Each time the metal post impact a loud crack and thud of metal against metal occured.

Seeing Malx/Frost come into the picture set Thrall's mind a little at ease. Although Steel had cost them valuable time as a Cyber Unit came in to charge. With quick movements Thralls overclaws brought the unit down at the legs. As muscle wrestled with flesh. Blood oozed from the steel tearing into Thrall's skin. Although at the same time the wounds were regenerating at an unprecidented rate.

"Hey Frost, mind helping me with this faggot in the steel suit?"

While outside the Strong Arm Twins were pinned down. The two of them managed to hide in a steel reinforced dumpster. While soldiers from the World Parliamental Millitary surrounded them with incoming fire. Above the horrizon Pyro was coming under fire from the squad below him. As he stood inside behind a nearby office wall. Shaking his head he'd say into the communicator.

"Thrall they have me pinned down at the top of this thing. I can't reach the roof, I am in a pincer attack!"

Splicer 407: Reaper stepped up to the roof opposit from Pyro, he wasn't about to sit back and watch this operation fail after seeing the processes that brought it to life. Searing bolts of energy soared from the end of his rifle, spearing a few of the soldiers firing on Pyro in soft parts of their armor and leaving craters in the armored parts. A second before they turned and fired back he stepped down from the edge on the top and went down a staircase that was still mostly whole.

Arriving on an emergency fire escape on the side that overlooked the blockaded street he began firing on the soldiers again, this time being more careful. There was a weak part of the armor at the neck, soon two, three soldiers were dead, gaping holes blasted through their necks. Then an explosion caused by Thrall, and a loose volly of fire back at Reaper caused him to duck behind the doorframe and raise his gun. "Come on, we just need something to go right!"

He clenched his one currently free hand into a fist, then quickly moved out into the open and threw a ball of fire at the soldiers, which would detonate like a grenade on impact, but there was always the chance it wouldn't. Before he could watch though he ducked behind the door again.

Pyro made his escape with Reaper he smirked a little bit. As they both took there fair share of Parliamental Millitary forces. Somehow he knew this wouldn't be to their liking. As one of the Cybernetic Units came into play. Looking from the alleyway adjacent to the factory. He could see the Cybernetic Unit trying to flush them out of hidding. Watching it turn, Pyro knew it was headed for Thrall. Turning to Reaper he scoffed.

"I'll be a damned rich bitch, they're going for Thrall, not good. We have to draw that full metal faggot out of Thrall's direction."

Looking over he could see a fire hydrant nearby and knew that the water still ran in L.A. Mainly because the mutants made sure the water ran for the underground sprinkler systems. They had installed manually.

"I am going to make this hydrant explode and by us some time. Is there anyway you could flank him from the back?"

Nodding Pyro threw a wave of flame from his fists, Using thermal kinetic heat of the atmosphere to aid him. The hydrant quickly explode and coated the visual sensors of the giant cybernetic unit with water and sand. A potent combination, not realizing that sand turned to mud when exposed to water. The next step the unit made cause his feet to sink in pinning the huge unit in mud.

"Oh my I almost forgot about the sand, ha ha not your day you filthy dog."

The unit however still fired on them with incindeary rounds. Then Pyro rolled over as a hail of bullets fired over his head. He would throw rays of flame and uranium isotopes. At the behemoth in an attempt to fry the camera equipment situated at the head.

Splicer 407: "Of course there is." Reaper replied, heading down the fire escape another level and darting across the floor to the other side. He quickly blew out a window with a fire blast and jumped onto the bus blocking the street. He took a second to set up, bracing his gun on his hip. A second later he be opened fire on the cyber unit, some of the blasts going a bit awry, as was their nature when not specifically aimed.

Most of them hit the rear armor of the unit, leaving burned out craters about 1/4 of an inch deep. A few seconds of hard shelling and Reaper was nearly knocked off the bus by a ballistic missile that zoomed past his head, leaving burn marks on his jacket and exploding on a distant building. Reaper swung over the edge and kicked in one of the windows, landing on a seat inside.

He took the single stride over to the opposite window and punched it out with the front of his gun and started firing at the creature again, until spotting the missile-toting soldier peeking over the top of one of the vans. Reaper quickly turned and took a precision shot, hitting the man in the face. "You bastards are dumber than you look."

nonangelic92: Natsumi walked the darkened alley-way that divides a few of the high class sections. She came to one house in particular, and hecked into the house's main-frame. "Alright I have two minutes and fifty-five minutes to make these Aristocrats pay." Natsumi uploaded the virus she created, and plugged in a few technological codes just to make sure noone can figure out who or how someone created a virus this lethal. She stopped her stop watch "Yes, a new record." Natsumi walked out of the alley-way and walked towards the middle class part of the sphere.

Natsumi entered the little abandoned storage shed she calls home. Natsumi threw down her coat and walked over to her little makeshift map and dask. She set a tack where she just came back from. "One more down, a few more billion to go." Natsumi got up and went over to the storage fridge where she keeps all of her food, and grabbed a sandwich. Natsumi ate in silence thinking of what step to take next. "I've got it." Natsumi shot up, got her jacket, and ran out the door taking her plan into action.

In the Sierra Dome an alert klaxon alerted Zensuei of an impending cyber strike. A type level ten trojan virus had just infiltrated the core of the infastructure. Zensuei felt powerless as the Sierra Dome's mainframe control went to lockdown procedures.

"Damnit! Level Ten Trojan Virus, Control to Magi Nexus. The virus is out of our control. We have to activate Cybermind."

Deeper within the reaches of the Sierra Dome. A man with long greying hair recieved the message loud and clear. As he tapped a relay button to control his expression changed as Zensuei appeared on his terminal screen.

"Gregori to Zensuei, you must be kidding, you know the danger of bringing Cybermind out of containment. If he fixes the network, there's a chance he could regain his conscience."

Zensuei slamned his fist onto the desk and shout back at Gregori.

"You know we don't have a chance of stopping a level ten trojan. Were only qualified to tangle with a maximum level seven archetype. If Cybermind retains cohearance we need only flood his brain with electrons. We can always clone another one if needbe."

Gregori flinched slightly at the thought, and seemed to pity Cybermind. Touching the control button Gregori softly replied with a little hesitation.

"Understood, re-activating Cybermind at once."

Standing up from the control panel Gregori grabbed a nearby cane. And head down the mainframe corridor to an elevator. Where he would go inside and head to the second deepest level in the Sierra Dome. Walking out the air was cold filled with a nitrogen mist over the floor. As well as a titanium plated door at the end of the corridor. Pushing his thumb to the the right of the door a thumb and DNA scan was initiated.

"... ... ... ... ... Dr. Gregori Rwhol identified. Access Granted."

As the doors opened up inside were a great many power chords within. All conntected to a central point. Where a man contained in a liquid oxygen container. Within that Container was a man implanted with cerebral equipment. Embeded in his brain like his mind were the central plexus used to run the network.

Taking out an object reminscient of an antiquated Blackberry. Gregori type in a few commands as the young man in he liquid oxygen tank remained slumbering. Raising the ambient temperature to a rough sixty degrees. The body began to stir as the temperature rose. Standing near the test tube Gregori looked on at the poor young man.

"Cryo, there's a level ten trojan in the system. We need the virus taken care of. Will you comply?"

After a few minutes a cybertronic voice could be heard on the notepad. It was barely aware but at t he same time understanding of the order given. Much like the mind speaking back without the body reacting. Under heavy sedation this was all the man was allowed to do. Other then run the Network in the Sierra Dome.

"Virus identified, cyber containment will resume at T Minus ten seconds."

As the virus would be scanned at the speed of the mind of this individual. Another order was given after the first.

"Cryo, make sure you do a reverse trace of the sender of the virus. I want a location of the attack after the virus has been neutralized."

The mind of Cryo had already contained and annihalated the virus. Now a reverse trace was done to find the location of the sender. After a couple of seconds an answer was given.

"Trojan Virus sender location is located near the Sierra Sphere aboveground. The mainframe was that of a low level Grammar School Teachers mainframe. No determined set of skill between this virus and said teachers technological skill. Estimation of error is 99.99 percent probable of technological skill."

Gregori nodded and put Zensuei back on the data pad.

"It was sent through a grade school teachers desk Zen. Looks like someone hacked the mainframe using that as their base. It would've worked since the line in the Sierra Sphere and the Sierra Dome are along the same line."

Zensuei looked back to his mainframe to see that operations were underway once more. Nodding back to Gregori he would reply back. "Looks like someone is trying to make us scratch an itch that isn't there. Gregori, inform Cryo to create a proxy fool the hacker into thinking the virus is still in the system. Then when that hacker traces the ISP alert Parliamental forces the hacker is located. For now put Cryo back under stasis and monitor his status."

Zensuei closed the communique with Gregori and leaned back in his seat. Then looked idily below him at the great many tubules below him. Pondering if any one of them could explode again and escape like many already have. And even so there were some locations inside the Sierra Dome. That Zensuei prayed never came out of lockdown.

nonangelic92: Natsumi walked around the sphere, thinking if she should get on with her plan. She thought about what if this happened or what if that happened.
" Calm yourself you idiot, there is no time for what ifs" she said out loud to herself, " Just get on with the plan." Natsumi walked down to the "poor section" of the high class. (Ha, if there was such a thing.)

Natsumi stopped in front of a yard where a house once stood. For this was once her house before she was turned into some kind of mutant. Natsumi felt a peg of guilt and grief as she remembered her mother screaming for someone to let her out, for Natsumi her own daughter trapped her inside the house and then left a poisonious gas that killed her very slowly. "Stop it right now, she should be to blame not youself." Natsumi said out loud to herself.

"Hmmm I wonder if Parliament is enjoying my little surprise?" Natsumi asked herself. She pulled out a transmitter to check to see if her "surprise" is working just fine. She smiled, to see that her virus was doing its job better then ever. Natsumi walked to her makeshift home, and took a seat on a homemade hammock, thinking about why she didn't fufill her plan when she had the opportunity.

Elsewhere...

All heads of worldly affairs all stand assembled at the World Parliamental Super Sphere. A gathering in a majestic sphere equiped with anti gravity plating. It sit suspended over the statue of Liberty near the ruins of manhattan island. The metal hue in the nuclear winter afforded it heated conductor plating. This is where the the Autocrat resided. Cloaked in a crimson red robe, holding a platinum scepter.

All around the lights were dimmed to a near pitch black incandesant hue. The men all around the circle were cloaked in blue. Robes hid there eyes in lew of the aggression that fueled heads of state. A strict code of conduct was made among the representative aristocratic heads of state, known as the Imperiai (em pier ri ae)

"Iamarsa, Angelous your report of the mutant incursion at old Los Angeles?"

Zensuei took the center of the circle knealing before the Autocrat. His head hung low as his eyes closed. Putting his hand over his chest Zensuei's lips curled into a baleful hiss almost.

"Majestic One, we are sad to say an ambush occured. With an escaped horde of mutants who had free reign of the ruins of Los Angeles. We regret to inform you that the equipment caravan never made it to Sierra Command."

"Would Angeles report on the Project Zero Strand's rate of transference? We all know what the boy is capable of. The council demands you assign a test subject. Or we will hook him up to the Planar Amplifier and scratch your budget. We want a living heir as well for Project Zero. As cloning technology at present has no capabilities to have full transference ratios. We have run simulations, the degradation of the Zero Strand would be far to severe. Magi Control has told us this."

Zensuei left the circle and allowed Angelous to take the circle. All remained quiet in observation of the Autocrat. It was the rule of the Parliament to never shame themselves in front of him. His DNA was un-tainted, and pure but his power was surreal. All knew they ran the risk of death if the Autocrat even looked at them.

Meanwhile..

Zero sat idily reading an old novel given to him by Aubrey. Idily he sat it down and stood up walking to the door. His green eyes would look at the doorframe as his sensese calmed as the door was opened. Looking outside he saw no one standing there. But the door remained open. Grabbing his slippers and book, Zero exit the door and looked around suddenly. His body seemed to slip out of view by itself. The cameras would all lose track of Zero altogether. But in truth Zero was still there but in a desperate escape. He'd always told Aubrey if that door opened and she wasn't behind it he would leave anywho.

He wanted to see the world and that was all there was to it.

nonangelic92: Natsumi ran threw the streets of the Sierra Dome, trying to ditch the soldiers chasing her. She tried to remember what had gotten her into this pickle. She remembers laying down in her make-shift house and then it was raided with soldiers. Thank goodness that I installed that hollow space, or they would have cuaght me for sure. It didn't help that she also placed an illusion in front of them, either.

Natsumi thought about the sewer system, and all the rumors of mutants there. "Well, I'll give it a try." she said to herself. She used her mind to place a few heavy objects in front of the soldiers to slow them down, then she ran around the corner, and jumped down into the sewer system. "Oh god, it reaks down here." Natsumi said out loud. She followed the sewer system, til it led out. Natsumi's eyes grew so big, for she had never seen any place so old.

Natsumi heard footsteps, so she freezed and looked around the corner. What Natsumi saw, she couldn'y believe her eyes. It was another person, a boy in fact. He looked aroud her age, he was about a foot or two taller then her, and had a love for books. Natsumi laughed out loud, thinking how raw that is these days. The boy stopped walking, and Natsumi froze, hoping he wasn't with Parliament.

It had been a day after the ambush in Los Angeles and Thrall was mostly content. His people had fought long and hard for the medicine, field rations, ammunition and equipment ransacked. Running a hand over the new bulletproof vest he snatched a small content smile came to his face. While wandering down the tunnels with a flashlight wearing a sturdy brown trenchcoat. Thrall took a second to peer through an open manhole past the fog that the Kudzu created.

Seeing the dusk of the day rekindled his need to head back toward the boiler compartments. Down in the subteranean environment left no shelter for the cold, other then where his war room and people had managed to cordone off. But at the sounds eminating in the sewers with him Thrall took a calm ear to listen.
He could swear that he heard a women and a man's voice through the tunnels.

Turning off his flashlight he stepped carefully not to alert anyone to his prescense. Out of the corner of his eyes he saw the young man and women conversing. Seeing how one wore surface clothes that hadn't the stench of sewers. At that thought neither did the young man, he was dressed much like a test subject.,,

For a second Thrall looked toward the two, he knew the boy was like him. A test tube grown freak from dormant DNA. Those garbs were all to familiar to him. Since he held onto his own garments after he escaped twenty years ago.

... ... ...

Zero had wandered down through the manholes in order to leave the Sierra Dome. His green eyes seemed to follow down toward a slippery stream of feces and piss. The smell enough made him hurl a few times along the way. The smell itself was terrible. He followed the corridor down until he was scared by someone. Instantly he jerked at surprise of the girl and fell knee deep into the sewage. Barely managing to hold his head above the rank water below him.

Zero pushed himself up to examine the girls face and blink as their eyes met.

"It's really not nice to sneak up on someone like that. I almost went into this...gross water."

Zero felt dirt already standing here but he couldn't tell whether or not she was from the Sierra Dome. Or if she was just a runaway girl off in her own little world. But from the look of it there was next to no way he figured she worked in the Sierra Dome, she wasn't old enough.

Even though he'd just lifted his hands from the mess of sewage. He extended his hand in a gesture of good will.

"I am Zero, who're you?"

... ... ...

Thrall listened to the two of them, just before he exit down the corridor he was in. Getting onto his communicator to the rest of the Mutants, his voice became quiet.

"Reaper, Frost. We have company, I am going to initiate contact and bring them in. One of them looks to be a lab rat from the Sierra Dome. I'll find out what I can about them in the meantime, have the sisters set a bed up. We can at least let them sleep on the choice I'll give them."

Silencing his communicator Thrall knew it was rude to linger. But they looked like the kind who needed a place to belong. Thus he walked down the tunnel and stood at the left corridor to where they were at. He smiled to show he meant no harm to them. Looking the both of them over he calmly introduced himself.

"Welcome to Sub Los Angeles, Iam Thrall. These parts are under my leadership, what are your names, and reason for coming here?"

Listening to their names and such he nod calmly and then looked to both of them.

"It will be night soon, you're lucky I found you before then. The sewers become frosty if not frozen. It becomes easier to catch a cold here in the night. If you come with me I can offer you a place to stay warm and something to eat. We'll discuss more when we get back to the Sanctuary."

nonangelic92 Natsumi nodded her head as the man named Thrall introduced himself. "Oh my goodness, so what they say is true. There are people lving in the sewers. Oh sorry for my rambling I'm Natsumi and I just came to this place in search to get away from Parliament scum." she rolled her eyes and smiled. Natsumi and Zero followed Thrall to the Sanctuary. It was a nice place, but could use a bit of a cleaning, natsumi thought to herself.

Natsumi was given weird looks by many, as she passed them. But Zero, a look of knowing came aross the face of some when they saw him. Natsumi and Zero were seated at a small table and given some hot food and drink. And that's when the questions started.

Reaper grabbed the jawline of his mask and pulled up, revealing the completely smooth black shape that was his head and face. He set the mask on his table along with a small metal saucer in which he lit a flame that needed no fuel. He would be very interested in what these two had to say. He flared his flat nostrils trying to catch their scent, they smelled oddly clean except for the boy, perhaps a recent brush with the sewer water?

Reaper closed his nostrils again, leaving his face completely smooth, his eyes no more than photo-receptive parts on the surface of his skin. A few seconds later he turned his chair around to face them and leaned back.

Frost dropped his com into his makeshift pants pocket, and continued to straighten out and fold the spare "clothes". He turned to Gale whom was mechanicly sewing and patching holes in the clothing.

"Gale, we have visitors. Can you ring up the Rose Sisters and have them lay out a place for 2 visitors. I'll send them your way when the visitors are done eating, and we have determined they are not a danger to us."

-----

Frost walked into the room the vistors were eating. They ate in a room, which was not the normal kitchen. There was only a pot of Whatnot stew and mushroom bread and a few bowls and spoons. The room was easily closeable and well gaurded by hidden Mutants incase everything hit the fan.

Frost sat down with his back to the newcomers at Reaper's table with a bowl of stew and bread in hand.

"What do you think of our little visitors? You think they are here for sightseeing, or are looking for some beach front property?"

Just then someone else walked in. How many people can they fit in one room, Natsumi thought to herself. She followed the guy's movement with her eyes. He sat down next to the skull dude and asked if they were here for some property. Natsumi tried to cover up a laugh, but it had already escaped her lips, causing everyone in the room to look at her. This new place was certainly filled with people Zero had never met. Thrall himself seemed like an interesting and likable leader. Thrall had been the first to look at him and ask where he came from. Then the strange stew presented between him and Natsumi was an odd one. Taking a sip he could almost taste some kind of bird in his mouth. Unsure of what he was eating, he shrugged and ate more.

"I actually came from the Underground Sierra Dome. The door opened for me for some reason and that was when I decided to walk out. I met Natsumi in the sewers and well, I joined her."

As far as Parliament was concerned he knew of it. He had even met the famed Autocrat once. It felt odd to be in that place wearing a white robe. But the Autocrat didn't seem evil to him in that time.

It had really set in that these people might be like him in a way. From how everyone in the room hardly moved a muscle. When Reaper took off his helmet. That usually meant that everyone in this room was different. But he had no idea how he was different. He had been locked up in the Sierra Dome for so long. Aubrey herself could never tell him what he was, but he knew that she knew. She had fought for him many times. She herself could mimic other peoples abilities.

"All of us are different in our own way, aren't we? You people have a gift in one way or another."

***

Thrall himself looked astonished when Zero had asked the question. While he had been busy laughing and eating with these children. Zero himself seemed the most enigmatic he had ever seen. Then when he opened his mouth at being cooped up at the Sierra Dome. Thrall stood up the gowns he wore were suited for test subjects. Giving Zero a nod, he refute the truth to him.

"I can see you're special like the rest of us, and me as well. How about you tell me about your gift and I'll tell you about mine."

Few people actually knew about his personal experience in the Sierra Dome. The only one being the person to break him from that hellhole. Knowingly his glance met Reaper's. The only one besides himself to survive that calamity.

But Zero's answer would be the most elusive ever to come to his ears.

***

After Thrall had asked the question of him Zero seemed to peer down a second. At least until he would look up to Natsumi. Something in him made him ignore the pain of admitting his secret.

"Thrall, if I could tell you what I am, I would. But I don't know what my gift is. All I know is the only person I've known my whole life knows it. And she cried and ran from me one day when I asked. I've never known who I am my whole life..and I am tired of being boxed in. Maybe someday I'll find out, but when that day comes I ask your forgiveness."

***

Thrall's eyes widened a little bit after that brief explanation. He'd never met a test tube baby who didn't know what his gift was. All around Zero was a very kind sorted individual. A rarity in this world and politics. A shoulder went over Zero's shoulder as a smile would pierce his loneliness.

"It's okay Zero, I understand that sometimes we don't know our gift. Hell it took me a year to discover mine, and sometimes we never stop finding more. I say in a year or less we'll know what you are. But for now, we could use your help and help you fit into this place. It can be something you're good at or love and enjoy. So welcome to the Ruins of Los Angeles, we're the Underground. May your stay be favorable."

She leaned back in the chair, watching as the three other men conversed silently, talking about her no doubt.

reaper's head snapped around at Natsumi's whispering. "Of course you'd be alloowed to stay here if you wanted." He smiled again, showing his slightly pointed teeth. "Or you could go back to running from the soldiers." He grabbed a bit of bread from a passing tray and swallowed it, then exhaled a puff of smoke as it combusted in his stomach. As the man came back over to reclaim his bread Reaper tossed him a small bit of metal that could be used in trade instead.

Thrall looked over toward her and raised an eyebrow. He leaned back sipping on a flask of whiskey he'd carried with him. Looking over to Natsumi he shook his head.

"Reaper's right, besides we don't just offer our homes to just anyone. Besides from the way the kid's looking at you. I could swear his balls just dropped coming to the conclusion you're one hell of a spring chicken."

With a little laugh at Zero's expense he looked over to him with a light hearted smirk. Patting the young man on the shoulder.

***

Zero took in the comment and looked down between his legs confused. He had heard the comment among soldiers in the Sierra Dome. But no matter how much he thought about it he couldn't make sense of it. Looking over to Thrall he had a questioning look on his face. His eyes looked over to Natsumi innocently.

"I don't suppose you know what he means by my balls dropping do you?"

***

When the question was asked of course Thrall laughed about it almost threw up his liquir on the floor even. A glance was shared between Reaper and Thrall.

"I should've known anyone coming from the Sierra Dome is going to be a virgin. What a waste of time if there going to make humans. And not even let them feel the cool flesh of a female."

Meanwhile...

Zensuei still wearing the blue cloak from the Autocrat gathering. Had returned to the Sierra Dome quite pissed off, to say the least. Zero had managed to escape slaming his fist on his work table as he sat. A glint of anger in his eyes reeled from the Soldiers failure to secure Zero.

"GOD DAMNIT I DON'T CARE WHO WAS IN CHARGE, WHY DIDN'T ANYONE STOP ZERO FROM LEAVING?!?! ARE YOU ALL INCOMPETANT, THE AUTOCRAT IS GOING TO HAVE MY SCROTUM ON A PLATTER YOU IDIOTS!"

Shutting down the message key Zensuei knew now the only way to recover him. He messaged the Cybermind Operations Department. As Gregori Rwhol took the terminal.

"Gregori, activate the Nano Tracer, code preface 10041984, Password Hikari. When you get a lock I want you to keep the chip interfaced and report the subjects movement."

Gregori entered the preface and password his fingers flying near the speed of lightning. He retained a bleep about two hundred miles outside the Sierra Dome. The ping was indicated at underground Los Angeles. Recovering the data he pressed his response to Zensuei.

"Subject is located in the underground tunnels of Los Angeles. He seems to be walking underneath the pressure valves of downtown. There doesn't seem to be any incidation he knows of the transmitter."

Zensuei nod especially and then turned off the window, then began to message Parliament Command Central. Finding the one he wanted he sent a message to Jessica Angelous.

"Subject Zero has escaped to underground Los Angeles. I want you to take a squad fo fifty thousand and scour the tunnels until you recover him. Activate the Bio Mech's, and pump the underground with Cyanide. And the exits with Napalm Bombs. Anyone other then Zero I want dead, do you hear me, DEAD! Natsumi glared at the one called Reaper and then turned her eyes back to Thrall. She smirked and rolled her eyes at Thrall's comment. Natsumi turned toward Zero, " I think Thrall can tell you by what he meant, after I leave this room for it's not appropiate for a "spring chicken" like myself to hear such conversation. Isn't that right Thrall?" Natsumi turned towards Thrall and had a very serious expression on her face, "So we already know that Zero can stay here, but can I? Zero shook his head and leaned back, feeling as though he were picked on. As Thrall gestured at him with a smile he oddly picked up on it. And turned to look over to Natsumi with a small smile gracing his face. Thrall looked over his shoulder and then opened up a nearby cabinet as he would pull out an amber colored bottle filled about three quarters of the way. As recognized as a pint of Jack Daniels whiskey, a gift Thrall picked up when he was scouring the sewers for a place to sleep.

"You can join us Natsumi at your own peril. But since you want to, you both have to swallow this until I deem you can talk and be trustworthy."

Thrall then set four shot glasses in front of himself, Reaper, Zero and Natsumi. Idily he wondered where Frost and Shade were at. Pouring the aged whiskey in each the glasses he lifted up his shot and then eyed Zero.

The boy was examining the liquid through the glass itself. Mermerized that he'd never seen such contents in his life. He sniffed the brew and made a strained face as he seemed to choke on the arouma of it. Looking over to Thrall; Zero paused and asked him.

"This is...alcohol? How is that supposed to make you tell between the truth and a lie?"

Thrall smiled at him with a half amused look as he downed the shot.

"Because when you're drunk, you can't think enough to lie while being intoxicated."

Zensuei was beyond irritable at this point his precious experiment to gain favor from the Autocrat, about to fail. He walked into the barracks near the docking port leading to the outside. Soldiers who were in this area snapped to attention. Zensuei stepped heatedly across the tarmac and deck supports to the locker. Going to his own personal locker he grabbed a weapon. His trusted Mk. II Tesla Pistol. As his face stained and contorted at the weapon. He lifted a clip to it and activated it, moving the dial to the weapons highest setting.

"Who here was in charge of guarding corridor eight near the zero project lab?"

A single soldier raised his hand as the others pulled away from him. Like a silent death sentence had been attatched to the man standing around them. With a shrill grit of his teeth Zensuei lifted the pistol and fired one into his chest. An electromagnetic plasma volt surged through the mans body. As his skin bubbled and oozed off his skeleton. His body armor melted into his flesh, and agonizing screams of death echoed off the walls.

A second after the shot the man exploded into a splatter of blood all over his comrades. As fumes escaped the gooing mass of man that once was. All the other soldiers had barely a second to escape the burning explosion. As Zensuei moved over to the rotting corpse he fired another shot in anger. Further boiling the flesh until nothing but blood and melted flesh were left of him. Even his rifle was burned beyond repair.

Zensuei's angry voice came out with a vengance at the soldiers.

"IF I EVER HEAR OF ANOTHER EXPERIMENT LEAVING THE SIERRA DOME. AND NONE OF YOU REPORT IT OR RECLAIM THE EXPERIMENT. I WILL MAKE HIS DEATH SEEM LIKE A WALK IN THE PARK FOR THE REST OF YOU!!!"

As he stood over the rotting corpse of the soldier responsible for allowing Zero to go.

"NOW GET COMMANDER ANGELOUS UP AND OUT OF HER ROOM. AND ALL OF YOU PREPARE FOR AN ASSAULT ON LOS ANGELES. I WANT PROJECT ZERO BACK, AND UNHARMED. KILL ANY MUTANT WHO STANDS IN OUR WAY!! NOW GET YOUR FUCKING GEAR AND MOBILIZE!!"

Zensuei was beyond angry, so much so he would go with the troops this time. And make damned sure that they reclaimed Zero. As soldiers scrambled for combat equipment, Cybernetic Battle Suits, and the experimental Bio Units. Zensuei slipped into a black and blue combat suit. Reserved for soldiers of the Autocrat. He went down the hall with his grim looking helmet and went to the Cyrostasis branch. As he ordered them to unlock one of the bio units removing it from stasis. Zensuei looked on as a black armored bi pedal machine. Of about five stories tall began to synchronize and reintegrate for a pilot.

Zensuei had experience with these units. As he fumbled with a transmitter on his wrist. Cables now spread from the wrist device to points on his spine. On the back of his head. As the elevator came down for him he stepped on. Ignoring the two men who moved his helmet to his head. The helmet served as a neural interface. As link containing fluid began to be pumped inside. His concentration began to interface with the Bio Unit. As the hatch to the cockpit was sealed tight.

Countdown to the Soulcore activation began as the unit was moved via platform. Directly to the launch deck near the wall of the Sierra Dome. All he could see was his legions of soldiers activating their Cybernetic Units. As well as many scurrying to grab their battle suits.

In the end Zensuei would make anyone involved in Zero's capture, dead. Or wishing they were.

Thrall mused over the shot, as the other three had already downed there shots. Pouring one for each of them he smile nodding to Reapers comment. He looked over to Zero then to Natsumi and smiled.

"For you Zero, how do I know you're not a Aristotic puppet trying to flush us out? And for you Natsumi, tell me why I shouldn't rip your clothes off and search for a transmitter?"

Thrall seemed to move closer as his eye contact thinned on the both of them. Pouring another shot for each he lifted the glass to his lips and sipped it. It was almost as though he were using his mind to scour the both of their minds. As if they were to make the wrong move would mean their untimely demise.

Zero looked over to Thrall and downed the shot feeling the liquid burn through him. He coughed a bit before setting the shot down. Alcohol was a foreign substance to him, he didn't have any tolerance to it. Looking over to Thrall he spoke calmly to the two of them.

"The reason I am no puppet of anyone who or whatever you call them. Is because I've been locked in the Sierra Dome since I could remember. I didn't want to be there anymore, I wanted to see the world for what it really is. If I remained there I wouldn't see the light of day. Do you have any idea what it's like to grow up without the things you see people with everyday?"

Thrall seemed impressed, as he poured Zero another shot. Then looking over to Natsumi as Thrall listened to her story. With a nod Thrall replaced her shot with more whiskey as he made the next round begin.

One, well I wouldn't hid a transmitter on my body, I'd hide it in my body, considering that's the best way not to detect for one. And besides do I look like the type to have my own transmitter inside me, maybe Zero but not me. And two, if you even try to rip my clothes off, then I am so gonna hurt you, I promise." Thrall laughed at Natsumi's explanation, as he poured another shot. Zero looked over at her and shrugged as he answered Thrall's questions. Though he seemed at a disadvantage he wasn't entirely sure if he had a transmitter in him or on him either way. He looked over to Thrall and said as a matter of factly.

"She might be right, though I can't vouch for myself if I have a transmitter, you can rest assured I won't give up this place knowingly. If it seems were a little to conveniant that were in this together, since I hardly know Natsumi."

Thrall shrugged this off and poured another round thinking of another question. Coming to one he looked them both over and smiled.

"Alright next question, if you're not with Parliament which I doubt. Then you wouldn't mind sampling this illegal herb I have with me. Because I know if you don't smoke this, it would be a breach in protocol. And you would loose your parliamental millitary jobs."

Pulling out a wooden box from his coat. Thrall lifted the box to the table, where a notorious green herb was cut up inside. Taking out a paper, he wrapped the precious herb into a blunt big enough for the three. Lifting the blunt to his mouth a lighter flicked on, as he lit the illegal substance. Inhailing the smoke, he passed the next hit to Zero. And looked to him in stern warning, if they didn't smoke it, he'd know why.

Zero put the blunt to his lips and inhailed the fumes holding them in. The fumes were different and made him feel strange after he smoked it. Passing it to Natsumi Zero's eyes bulged slightly as he tried to figure out what it was.

After another shot and the smoking Thrall looked over to them and pondered what next. Then after coming to it, he leaned back looking to them both.

"Alright if you want to prove yourselves, by tommorow, I want you both to go back to the Sierra Dome. And steal two soldier uniforms, and bring me the head of a soldier of the Parliamental Millitary. Natsumi looked at the blunt and took a small hit, feeling the effects just like Zero. After Natsumi heard Thrall's prepostion, she had only one thought pop in her head and that was that this guy is super and ultimately wack.

Natsumi looked at Thrall and Reaper with stern look, " I may be a mutant set out on revenge, but I do have standards and morals. And another thing Mr. Almightly Thrall I do not and I repeat do not work for anyone but myself, you got it."

Natsumi stood up and grabbed her stuff, "And I personally don't know who you think you are, but what do you plan to do sabatage the whole Parliament Military, and their way of creating mutants. Honey trust me I've been on the other side of the mutant testing scene, and its not that much better then being created in a test tube."

Reaper kept up with the shots, but passed on the smoke, he didn't much like disabling his body too much. Even the shots had a decreased effectiveness on him because much of the alcohol combusted in his throat instead of being absorbed by his system.

When Natsumi stood up he nodded. "Thrall, i believe you are missing something: how would we know that they didn't just ask the Parliament for the tings that you ask, what is two suits and a single soldier to them? Therefor, i propose that i go with them to make sure they do everything the right way." He turned towards Natsumi. "You wouldn't have any objections, would you?"

Natsumi slacked herself in the forehead, and looked at Reaper," I forgot that down in here the male species are just a bunch of simple minded organisms. Let me explain this simplier for you, I am not going to kill some random soldier and steal two uniforms just to see if we are able to stay in your guys little group. Zero can stay here, cause it's more safer for him, but I will not stay here and feel like one of those soldiers in the Parliament military."

If Thrall had been about to say something Reaper cut him off. "Simple minded? I think not. However, if you wish to leave that is your choice. And i am afraid that he-" Reaper pointed at Thrall "-is the one that decides if you can stay." He stood up, grabbing his mask.'Pardon me for my rudeness, but what i think is my opinion." He began to exit the room, if there was a chance he could set up a task for her to accomplish he would try to find it before she left; it was not every day someone with actual skill walked in their doors.

Natsumi walked straight up to Reaper, and looked him right where his eyes would be. "I think so for only the male species are simple minded yet complex in only one area." she said with a smirk." And on that note gentlemen, I think I'm leaving." Natsumi looked at Zero, "Bye." she added with a wink and an air smooch. She then turned to Thrall, who was just sitting there staring at her, " And I will be seeing you later, maybe not down here but up there." She turned back to Reaper and the door, she gave him a love pat on his cheek, "See you later handsome." she laughed out loud and walked through the door, putting her coat on in a slow sexy motion.

Thrall shook his head vehemently with a tad bit of frustration. The girl had been a bit hot headed, but trustworthy, as he watched her exit. Zero had a look of dread on his face, looking over to Thrall he asked timidly.

"Do I need to kill someone to stay here, because even though I don't want to. I can if I must to stay here."

Thrall shook his head waving his hand dismissively downing the shot he took another hit. And seemed to contemplate what he'd listened to.

"Well I think we can trust her, despite her rogue-for-herself attitude. She's the kind of firecracker you watch with awe, get close and you get burned."

Zero looked over to Thrall and then sat up with a tad wobble. He strained his eyes to keep open looking over to Thrall he calmly spoke.

"Thanks, I had no idea how I would've killed one of those soldiers. I am not exactly what you could call the killer type. I'll be back I just want to look around for a little."

Of course that was only part of the reason Zero wanted to leave. Unlike Thrall; Zero had never made friends among men before. He seemed like a lost puppy hoping for a motherly figure or someone to trust. Even if Thrall trusted Zero, Zero would have to take time to trust anyone. He ran down the tunnels still feeling Natsumi nearby.

"..Natsumi wait.."

Those incandescent green eyes looked at her with a kind of sad puppy look. He moved over toward her as she was about to head down another corridor.

"I know they aren't exactly the greatest of patrons but you have their trust. Despite how Reaper might view you. I know you haven't known me but a few hours, but give them a chance, please?"

The kind of look he potrayed was a dead giveaway of his need for a women nearby. Despite his physical age, Zero couldn't be any older then an infant in mind. Of course Zero didn't understand that for his age his actions were as emotionally clingy as a rejected nerd in highschool.

"You're the only one I know for sure, I've only grown up around women. Those are the only people I've come to trust, men are rough to me....I need you."

Natsumi placed her hand on Zero's shoulder and gave it a light squeeze,
" Listen hun, I know you want me to stay, but I just can't. I have my own plan to put in motion kiddo, but don't worry I'll be back. And no you can't come, this is something I gotta do alone, and besides you should stay with Thrall and the others they can protect you while I can't." Natsumi ruffled his hair, "Besides with the guys around, I'm sure they can teach you a few things about killing since they're so into it." Natsumi saw Reaper walking towards them, "Well I better go, I'll see you around." Natsumi turned around and walked away as fast as she could, hoping she didn't hurt Zero's feelings.

Jessica was in her room suiting up and was making last minute checks of her equipment before leaving. loading up her pistol and stuffing it in the holster on the right side of her hip. then picked up her rifle, loading it up as well and hoisting it up around her shoulder.

Several knocks were heard from the door, "Come in." she said. as the door slide open, two members of the Angelous Guard stepped in, standing at attention and saluting. "Ma'am, the troops have been assembled." one soldier said. "And Mr. Iamarsa seems...lets say "eager" to get moving."

"And what of my suit?" she asked.

"We've already prepared your replacement Combat Suit, ma'am." the other said.

"Good. you may leave. I will be there shortly." She said, the two complied with her orders and left. she then looked to the mirror for a few minutes. taking a deep breath, "It's time to make those freaks suffer...."

Natsumi climbed out of the sewer system, to see guards surronding the sewer holes. Natsumi was hit over the head with the butt of a gun and knocked out instantly.

Natsumi awoke to being in a terragation room. She saw that about four guards were in the room with her, and a man was sitting across the table from her. When she tried to grab her aching head, she noticed that her hands and legs were chained to the table. Natusmi looked at the man, "What do you want with me?"

Zero sighed as Natsumi left him, his green eyes seemed to hold back regret. Though he never shed a tear his stomach was doing backflips and summersaults. He looked over to Natsumi as she ran down the tunnels and then walked over to Reaper. Stretching his back somewhat to put on a mock show of confidence. Though in reality he seemed to want to cling to a motherly figure.

"Alright Reaper, I'll trust you and Thrall, but if you hurt me. I'll be gone faster then you can blink."

In the Sierra Dome an interesting occurence had occured. With Iamarsa descending towards Los Angeles. Dr. Rwhol was in charge of the operations of the Sierra Dome. He smiled at the specimen in lockdown the lovely Natsumi.

"I see you walked right into the Sierra Dome with no escort, what in the fuck did you think you would accomplish, stupid bitch?"

As he questioned her a sphere droid had entered through a small alcove above the cell. It had two arms one with a needle, and the other with an amplification device. The red blinking dot at the top of the droid blinked multiple times. Seeming to record the information in this room at will.

Dr. Rwhol smiled as the droid came into the cell. He looked to it placing a soft hand over the surface of the droid sphere.

"To save you the question of what this thing is. We here at the Sierra Dome call designate it as a prototype Confessor Drone. You see how it works is by stimulating your pesky neurons. The more you resist the serum, the more your brain is flooded with electrons. The more you resist the more it hurts, why the first time we used it, it killed the mutant trying to resist it. Even lying will result in tremendous pain."

The drone moved closer and stabbed her in the back of the spine at the top of her neck. The entire vial was released into her bloodstream, a cruel smile came to Rwhols face. As the drone lifted up out of the room through its alcove.

"Now you stupid bitch, talk or die. It doesn't matter what you do, either way you're going to die here."

The steel Bio Unit stood on the outskirts of the once proud california turnpike. Inside the Bio Unit he pressed the communications button for delta wave transmissions. All around him the World Parliamental Army had mobilized behind him. They were twelve thousand strong as more troops seemed to pour in around Los Angeles.

"All Units prepare to flood the underground with Napalm. Cover all exits eith flame and incindeary weaponry. I want these fuckers squashed like cockroaches. Confirm."

Reaper put a hand on Zero's shoulder. "Don't worry kid, we'll get her back here soon enough. Now, lets see if we can't get you a place to stay and some armor to start with, you never know when the place might get raided." He gave a slight tug on Zero's shoulder as if to say 'come with me' and began to walk back down the hallway, one hand on Zero's shoulder and the other holding his own mask. "And i'm sure you won't have to kill someone if you really don't want to... what would you like to do anyway, you need to earn your keep somehow." Reaper looked down slightly into his eyes, still not used to the fact that his face was always expressionless, so what would have been a questioning look was turned into a blank stare.

Zero had seem disillusioned about seeing Natsumi go. Though when Reaper insisted he come he shrugged a little. Zero's telltale vaccant look returned to his timid features. Though now he had something to consider, how to earn his keep. With a light shrug Zero looked over to Reaper and gave it a bit of thought at the same time wondering what interested him.

"I suppose I could learn cooking, I've always been interested in that. Maybe I could even learn to bake cinnamon rolls I adore."

Although everything for now seemed quiet it was all to quiet to him as he followed Reaper back. It was unnervingly quiet and his stomach was twisting in knots. Like something terrible was about to happen. At the same time it felt dry and a little muggy in the tunnels. From the usual damp and wetness he was accustomed to.

When all of a sudden Zero turned to see something moving hellatiously fast down the tunnel. Smothering the Kudzu in a purplish hue that felt hot. A gasp of realization came to Zero as he realized that it was fire. And it was huge coming from the ends of the tunnels.

"Reaper look!!!"

As the flames of black Napalm came racing toward them the bells began to ring all around them. Zero raced after Reaper trying to escape the flames. When they came to a junction they were all but surrounded except for the northwestern tunnel. Throwing his arms out Zero felt empowered to do something. The need was great as he felt he could manipulate the flames themselves.

The flames were on top of Reaper and Zero. When all of a sudden the flames brushed up against a wall of kinetic energy. To the trained eye Zero had erected a Null Kinetic Field around himself and Reaper. The flames were stopped all around them. The Kudzu burned caught by the violet flames.

Thrall had been sitting at the table still drinking from his private whiskey stock. It had seemed a bit humid to him down here for some reason. He looked over to one of the Matrons and calmly spoke to her.

"Could you ask the boys down at the furnace why it's so dry here? It feels like a pressure cooker in here, ask them to turn it down a bit."

Little did Thrall know that it wasn't the boiler causing the nastry humidity. Downing another shot Thrall leaned back peering down the tunnel. It began to get hotter and hotter. When Thrall finnally figured it out all of a sudden as a plume of napalm blast through the tunnel.

A shock came to Thralls face as he suddenly realized they were being ambushed. With inhuman speed and strength Thrall ran up grabbing the stainless steel fridge. In a last ditch effort to save the maidens and fellow mutants He pushed the fridge itself against the stone entrance to the hideout. And blocked the entrance pressing the huge object to the entryway. When the flames touched the door his skin bubbled and oozed off as the extreme heat burned his flesh.

Thrall's scream echoed throughout the underground as he narrowly saved his people. He had no idea what became of Reaper and Zero, he could only pray they were both safe from the flames. But in realizing so, Thrall came to the conclusion that someone had made them. In all likelihood he couldn't see Zero being that individual. Natsumi finnally came to mind. Throwing the superheated fridge aside Thralls skin fizzed and burned as his flesh dropped to the ground.

"SOUND THE ALARM WERE BEING AMBUSHED, EVERYONE NOT FIGHTING GET INTO THE BOMB SHELTER!!!"

Running down the hall Thrall siezed the strings of the bell alarms and rang. The fight was on, and this time it was plainly to survive.

Zensuei's Bio Mech stood at the southern entrance of the tunnels. He watched as a battalion unloaded their liquid napalm flamethrowers. With others shouldering API Rifles at the exit. The tunnels of Los Angeles left many parts to be hit. Although with an army of over ten thousand Parliamental forces. There was no way the mutants no matter how powerful could escape. They would have Zero back even if they had to slaughter every mutant below.

"Battalions One through Six report."

A soldier's image came onto the viewscreen inside the cockpit of the Mech. He saluted the commander and then broke into his report

"Tunnels One through Six burning Sir. No mutants have been detected yet, but we can hear bells going off, seems they have a primitive alert system."

"Seargent your orders are to send your riflemen in to flush the mutants out. Recover Zero at all cost, if he resists subdue him without killing him. Annihalate any mutant that gets in your way."

"Understood sir, over and out."

Zensuei confrenced all the Bio Mechs, and Battle Mechs. He pulled them each into a telecomfrence from his point.

"Mech's are instructed to collapse Los Angeles Sky Skrappers and Freeway corridors. I want the damage limmited to the inner center of the city. And do try not to collapse it on our forces interceding into the tunnel. Zero's signal is located on the outer fringe of the tunnel system. I want you all to keep his location in mind. Seal off all other mutants."

Natsumi starred angerly at the man across from her, "I will not give up, you son of a bitch. I've trained my mind to resist all causes Parliment may have, even your neuron thingy. You can thank my mother for that one." Natsumi smiled, and concentrated on sending the man an illusion of her being killed by the neuron serum. She stayed silent as she cast the illusion while thinking in a different part of her mind, how in the hell am I to get outta here?

Reaper stared at Zero as he produced the Null Energy shield. He put his own effort into holding back the flames, it may not work quite as effectively at a distance, but anything that came in contact with his shield would at least temporarily go out. "I think you've found your talent kid. Do you think you can move this thing? Cuz' we have to get back to the others, or at least a few others."

He hoped he hadn't surprised him, he had no idea what would happen if Zero lost concentration. If he could just get back to his gun they would be safer, whoever was coming down here would probably have fireproof armor anyway, so his power was useless.

An armored truck drove by one of the Tunnels, unloading a dozen of the red armored AG soldiers, lining up in two single file formations. leaving the driver's side of the truck was Jessica in a slightly improved version of her combat suit. she then placed two fingers on a comm-device on her helmet, contacting Zensuei. Zensuei appraised Jessica's position and marked the distance by an onboard GPS device. Generations ahead of its time, complete with 3-D rendering. Tapping a few commands into the operations command page he calculate Zero moving toward the center. Then had to call off the assault by his Mechs. He contacted Jessica instantly

"Jessica, use of deadly force authorized target is moving toward the center of the underground. I want any mutant that tries to get in your way annihalated. Do what you must to subdue Zero, but do not kill him. If he resists tranquilize or stun him. Your GPS device has been automated to track Zero's neuro transmitter. Do not let him escape, or you may as well call your career done."

Zensuei called off the mech barrage until Zero was recovered, after that he'd flatten the city and anything beneath it. To Zensuei he felt like a human crushing a cockroach nest with a nuke.

Dr. Rwhol screamed in severe pain as the illusion couldn't be repelled. He throttled and punched her in the face. His hands would grab her by her hair as he'd scream into her ear.

"MAKE IT STOP YOU VICIOUS BITCH! MAKE IT FUCKING STOP!!"

Rwhol fell to his knee's and grabbed his head begining to pound it into the steel cell. Almost driven by insanity she would nottice his keycard had fallen to the ground near her foot. The man truly believed she'd released his own neuron serum against him. And was perhaps to weak minded to tell the difference.

Parliamental millitary soldiers knocked on the door inquiring about the Doctor.

"...Sir what's going on, do you need help??"

"GET ME THE ANTI NEURON ANTIDOTE, THIS BITCH HAS AFFECTED ME!!"

There was a hustle of boots striking ground as the doctors security detail ran off. It seemed Natsumi's escape had just become a little brighter.

Thrall was busy trying to make sure that the mutants were getting underground he was surrounded by the Twins, Steel, Pyro and the others. When Zero and Reaper came down the tunnels Thrall looked at Zero and spoke, the burns from earlier still visibly there. But Thrall showed no signs of pain, as his flesh and nerves seemed to regenerate on there own accord.

"Thrall they're here, they'll burn us out of house and home, I want to help you!"

Thrall looked to Reaper as Zero had suddenly seemed to grow a pair just now. He didn't know what to think, or if Zero had any skills he could use. A question seemed to burn in his mind.

"I can protect you all Thrall, let me help!"

Down the tunnels assault rifle fire was drawing dangerously close as screams of mutant combatants signalled death and fighting.

Natsumi used her foot to slide the card up her leg, and in her lap. She used her hand to take ahold of it. Natsumi smiled, and skillfully wiggled outta her locks. She cast the illusion to the doctor that he was slowly dying do to the surem. She walked outta the interrogation room, wearing one of the doctor's coat she found.

Whenever she passed someone, she cast the illusion that there was a false woman's name on the name plate. She wondered into a hallway, that had a sealed door at the end, that needed a keycard. Natsumi used the keycard to gain access to the room. What she found was unblieveable.

It was the security room, where the guards kept watch over all the mutants. She saw a guard watching the monitors and another looked at her. " Yes, the Doctor sent me to retrieve all of the patients for complete annihilation, due to a maximum number of them escaping and turning on us." The guard understood and opened the door to the rooms, and then called the transport truck to move them to the burning chamber a few miles away.

Natsumi looked through all of the windows, sending an illusion to each mutant that they're gonna be rescued. The transport ship arrived, and the two guards ushered each mutant in, one at a time. Natsumi looked at the guards," Thank you boys, but thats all I need now. you may continue your work here, I have guards waiting up ahead." Reaper hurried over to where he had left his weapon and snapped it up, pumping a small lever on the side he charged it, causing a low powered light to come on on the side, signifying that it was ready to fire. "So, do we make our stand here?" He moved back over to the door and set up with the barrel facing down the hallway. He heard Zero's comment. Thrall was more concerned with getting the extra mutants underground before he could be concerned with Zero and Reaper. He looked to them both and spout with a great deal of anger.

"LOOK I DON'T CARE HOW YOU DO IT, JUST BIDE ME SOME TIME SO I CAN GET THESE PEOPLE UNDERGROUND, JUST DO IT!"

Thrall concerned himself with getting the last of the mutant children below the ground. Just as a machine gun went off down the corridor. Zero looked up to see some machine ammunition skin by. Lifting his hands he erected the same null kinetic barrier. That once again stopped the incindeary bullets from breaking through.

Lowering it after the volleys silence a Squad of soldiers were just down the corridor. Pyro and the Strong Arm Twins raced down the tunnel. When Steel came running up the corridor, immediatly after arriving. Steel's body resumed its metallic grace that shimmered in the low light of the tunnels.

Pyro pushed his hands together and launched a volley of incandescent blue flame down the tunnel. The blast slamned into a nearby soldier and blasted him into chunks of burnt flesh and blood. Steel burst through the tunnel and ramned his shoulder into a troopers neck. The impact lodged his head off his shoulders nearly. Just as a frightened trooper unloaded into Steel, these bullets his home and blast through his steel shell. A screech of pain erupted as metallic substance reminiscient of blood spewed from the wounds.

Unlike normal rounds Steel was weak against nuclear tipped high percussion indeary rounds. As Pyro moved past Steel, Pyro's hands turned white hot. As a swift hand moved underneath his helmet to his necks focal point. It melted the flesh as his head was sent down the tunnel.

Zero ran forward to Steel as the man was knealing in pain. He looked down as a white aura surrounded Zero. Laying a hand on Steel's neck. The blood that spilled out of Zero curled back into him. As the wounds were regenerated by an unknown power. Looking at Steel; Zero had no inkling of how he did such a thing. But smiled innocently at him as Steel stood up.

"I may not know you all that well kid, but you're alright in my book. Thanks for letting me carry out my vengeance for another day."

Zero nod and looked down the tunnel someone was hidding in the corridor.

"Thanks Steel, but I don't think it's over, someone is hidding down there."
