Bryn Tharanwch

Age: 26

Gender:Male

Build:As was the way with all Celts in the Anglo-Welsh area Bryn was bred to be tall, strong and athletic. This coupled with the lifestyle and drive of a Celtic Warrior has left Bryn with a strong, incredibly muscular physique on top of a broad frame slender enough for combat agility. Bryn stands at an amazing six foot eight inches, weighing one hundred and eighteen kilos.

Hair: Bryn fights with his long dark hair billowing around him to add to the psychological intimidation factor of the Celtic Warrior. Without suitable hair hygiene products which were unavailable during Bryn’s time period Bryn’s hair is greasy and shines in the sun with an oily luster. Bryn’s weathered and beaten face also plays root to an impressive beard that is usually a dark red with the blood of some animal or other.

Eyes:Bryn has dark brown eyes bordering on the charcoal black. The huge celt's eyes are piercing and fix locked onto whatever target is put in front of him. Bryn has a scar just under his left eye giving that side of his face a stretched look, leaving Bryn with a permanent war grimace that is both unsettling and disfiguring.

Distinctive Features: Bryn is quite pale as a result of the overcast climate he hails from. His skin is near ceramic white until fighting at which point his face fills with a bloody rage and turns an angry reddish pink. As with most fighting Celts Bryn is covered from head to toe in blue woad (War Paint made from things you don’t want to put on your skin.) the woad twirls around his muscular frame accentuating the power behind the enraged Celt in an effort to intimidate the enemy. Bryn has lost the three rear fingers on his right hand in combat (lucky he’s left handed ;) ) using this hand to carry his leather shield.

Weapons:

Celtic Burda:

http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_qXsD95FQM5k/TDztaQEB8AI/AAAAAAAAABU/XBIQXDphaFw/s1600/Burda_Club.jpg

The Celtic Burda is Celtic club made of thick, strong wood, usually hardened English willow. The Burda is cut from a tree felled by the warrior who wields it, to use a Burda not made from a tree you cut down yourself was unheard of amongst the Celtic warriors of Wales, Ireland and Scotland. After being cut and shaped the Burda is fire sealed with bees wax and set with two iron rings at the end of the club. Whilst at short range the Burda is devastating (as anyone who has seen deadliest warrior can attest to) The Burda is primarily used to club the head and neck, creating depressed skull fractures that pierce the brain. The Burda is also used to break ribs, limbs and protective bones to further debilitate another combatant.

Celtic Longsword

http://www.aurorahistoryboutique.com/products/R000014_L.jpg

The Celts were the first skilled Iron workers in Western Europe and crafted a sword the likes of which are a struggle to replicate even today. The Celtic Longsword used by Bryn is a double edged blade with a rounded tip for hacking at limbs and getting through mail. Gelert is not primarily designed for stabbing but if an opening arises for the kill it is more than serviceable. Gelert is individual to Bryn in that it is blessed by spirit of the War Hound god of Bryn’s clan lending not only its name to the blade but also an aura of ferocious cold that chills the enemy inflicting untold pain and misery to anyone foolish enough to get in the way of Gelerts jaws.

Lancea

http://ep.yimg.com/ca/I/yhst-97934516468614_2081_6014757

Looted from the still bleeding corpse of a roman scout the Lancea is a mid sized javelin with a waved head for deeper penetration. The Lancea is used at range by Bryn as a throwing weapon or as a stabbing spear to keep the opponent at at bay and is easily capable of slipping the ribs and piercing an opponents heart.

Shield and Cestus

http://www.festivalofworldcultures.com/wp-content/uploads/Celtic-Shield-FoWC-2010-web.jpg

Bryn Also uses a leather shield with a brass boss in the centre as pictured in his painting. Far from just a defensive implement the shield can also be used to bash and bludgeon an opponent stunning or wounding them. Bryn has also picked up a pair of cestus from somewhere on his journeys through the time stream that he uses as a last resort to pummel at his opponents. In this situation the cestus are most likely to be used to inflict as much damage to opponents as possible before Bryn succumbs to no win situations.

For armor Bryn uses the leather shoulder pad and belt pictured in the painting for maximum mobility during combat. Whilst being very mobile the armor is only able to deflect light attacks.

Abilities:

Dagger of the North:Bryn’s only offensive spell, Bryn freezes water in the air into a razor sharp icicle that is hurled at the opponent with tremendous force with the aim to impale opponents on the icy shard. While potent the spell is temperamental and can waste a post of Bryn’s without materializing.

http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_XAy8yUWW_fE/SVKANl2N5gI/AAAAAAAAA0Q/S3v03zOCCPo/s400/24809014_Icicle.jpg

Breath of the Mountain: An ancient Celtic enchantment that brings a thick damp fog to the arena that neither combatant can see through clearly, bringing the fight down to a brawl based on instinct and reactions. A circumstance well suited to a six foot close quarters fighter bred in the heat and confusion of battle. The fog lasts only for five posts and drains Bryn into magical inactivity for two posts.

http://www.clarkvision.com/galleries/images.africa.2007/web/vulture.in.fog.c01.20.2007.JZ3F8185b-700.jpg

Other Abilities:

Bryn specializes in hand to hand combat and is adept at the use of all of his weapons, if his shield breaks Bryn may choose to wield his longsword in one hand and his Burda in the other.

Through the rigorous training regime and mysterious religion of Bryn’s clan the huge Celt is imbued with strength supernatural even for a man of his size. Bryn is able to lift extraordinary weights and exert extreme amounts of force with his blows. This comes a cost however as his bones are only the strength of a normal human's meaning Bryn risks fractures and breaks with every attack.

Personality:

Bryn is a blood crazed barbarian traumatized into a raging madness after seeing his people destroyed by the unstoppable war machine of the Roman Empire.

Bryn throws himself into battle with little heed for the risks involved as any meaning his Bryn still attaches to his life is overshadowed by his need to kill at all costs.

Bryn in his madness has convinced himself that he cannot die an as such with continue to fight until the last drop of blood has dripped from his lifeless husk onto the dusty ground.

In combat Bryn will run roaring head first at his opponent only going on the defensive when surprised or outmatched by a superior opponent.

Bryn uses all of his tools to attack, be it his arsenal of weapons, his shield or his spiked cestus Bryn will bludgeon, slice and stab anything he perceives as a threat into a bloody pulp unrecognizable to even his targets mother.

Whenever Bryn gets to the moment of a kill brief moments of Lucidity take hold allowing him to empathize with his foes and at times spare them if they prove themselves worthy in Bryn’s eyes or remind him of his old clan.

These moments extend for a week after the fight allowing Bryn to reflect on the loss of his people and the inevitability of his eventual demise and the final death of the Celts in the modern world.

Biography:

Bryn was raised in a small village clinging to the peak of Mount Snowden in North Wales on the cusp of the roman invasion of Britain. Bryn spent his childhood praying to his clans unique gods which according to their doctrine were embodied in the various animals that were encountered around the village, chief amongst them was Gelert, the War Hound god. After going through his manhood ritual at the age of twelve and becoming a full fledged warrior remarkable for his size and strength Bryn lead the invasion of four neighboring clans.

After this great triumph Bryn was selected by the elders of the clan as the living avatar of the War God Gelert. In a week long ritual Bryn was imbued with un-natural strength and taught the ways of his clan’s magic. Bryn was made responsible for safe guarding his clan against the outside world as the chief of it’s armies and it’s most powerful soldier blessed with the power of a demi god.

However when the Roman invasion of Wales began Bryn fell into a hole in time and space located in a snow drift on the side of Snowdon. Bryn fell through time all the while seeing the blood and hearing the screams of his people as the Romans butchered the clan. The visions and screams in his ears where caused by the link in his blood between Bryn and the God who Bryn had failed. The visions persist even today, the screams of Bryn's family ringing in his ears as freshly as two thousand years ago.

Bryn was driven mad as punishment for his failure and is only able to see through the red mist of his mind when Gelert is satisfied with the blood spilled in recompense for the roman blood left un-spilled all those years ago.

Lysette Lavoisier

Age: 645

Gender: Female

Race: Undead-Sorceress

Build: Lysette stands fairly tall for a woman of her time coming in at five feet nine inches. She uses her magic to manipulate her ageless form into whatever she desires, usually she takes the form of a slender woman with curves and bodily features used to seduce and distract her targets. Lysette’s true form however is that of a ghastly skeletal hag showing all of her 845 years, kept alive only by the cursed soul of the enchantress within. As Lysette expends more and more energy to fight her opponents and fuel her numerous spells the power needed to keep up her form ebbs and her body physically decays as she approaches her true form. Her true form is corrupted with parasites and maggots, clearly visible to anyone unfortunate enough to see the wretched sorceress in her true form. Both of Lysette’s forms are shown below although the true form of the ancient witch brings with it the scent and freezing cold of the grave.

http://fc02.deviantart.net/fs48/f/2009/179/b/4/warlock_by_NaruseX.jpg

http://i529.photobucket.com/albums/dd334/LT_1993/arrrrrggh.jpg

Hair: Lysette’s hair is grown down to the small of her back and is a beautiful jet black. Her hair shines in both sun and moonlight with a sheen that entrances the minds and hearts of lesser men. In her true form Lysette’s hair is red with blood of her victims growing down from her boney scalp in a dank, horrible greasy mop teaming with parasitic lice and ticks that make their home in the witch’s rotten corpse.

Eyes: Lysettes eyes in her mirage form are fully black with no Iris or pupil. There are documented cases of men going mad and throwing themselves from tall buildings after gazing into the black pits of despair that lead all the way to the black wretched soul of Lavoisier. In her true form Lysette’s eyes have long since rotted away and the bare sockets view the world with an unholy vision. Due to the nature of Lysette’s magic her eyes glow a brilliant emerald green before a spell is cast.

http://www.discount-lenses.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/wpsc/product_images/blackscleracontacts.jpg

Distinctive Features: Lysette’s form seems to shimmer slightly and shift near imperceptibly as the illusion consumes more of Lysettes arcane power. This gives Lycette an unsettling quality similar the way a snake coils before it strikes. Lysette’s mouth is filled with row upon row of razor sharp teeth, honed to the sharpness of a knife on the flesh and bones of men, women and children. In her decayed true form Lysette’s teeth have survived at their original sharpness although yellowed and blackened through the years of death and decay. Only the sections visible to opponents are necessary for Lysette to conceal and as such the anatomy covered by Lysette’s armor are kept in the style of her true form.

Clothes: Lysette’s Armor is made from enchanted Damascus steel, using the energy of her own blood to make it harder than the purest diamond, necessitating extreme force to penetrate the bronze colored plate. Due to the extremely draining process and rituals needed to craft the armor Lysette has only been able to craft a small number of pieces over her extremely long life The skirt around Lysette’s waist is made of the finest silk.

Weapons:

The Arm of Ashes:

Lysette’s power, consciousness and very soul is sealed safe within the razor Sharpe ax head of the arm. The arm is not only a devastating axe wielded with grace and power by the centuries old sorceress but a powerful implement of magic able to conduct all of the supernatural energies that form Lysette’s monstrous spells. The outside of the axe is made of the same enchanted steel as Lysette’s armor and is sharpened to an edge able to sever limbs and cleave through plate in the right conditions. The core if the axe is a hollow diamond rod running through the middle of the shaft, the diamond tube contains the actual remnants of the ancient witch, her ashes, blood and soul bound within the axe as her physical tie to the living world.

Stiletto Dagger:

As a last resort, if Lysette is threatened with impending death and separated from the axe and her power she will stab madly at any foe with a slim, razor sharp dagger concealed in her boot. The dagger is of no specific importance and is found quite commonly throughout history.

http://www.kaswords.com/productimages/s/ST7BK_2.jpg

Other Equipment:

Lysette owns a golden amulet with a blood red ruby at the centre of the pendant. The ruby is an ancient artifact from before recorded history when beings of immeasurable power walked the earth and the powers of the most brilliant sorcerer would seem trivial and minute. The amulet is the battery that provides the huge amounts of energy necessary for Lysette’s resurrection and continued life. If the Amulet were to be destroyed, a feat that would take some considerable power then Lysette would fade into the shadows as an impotent shadow capable only of rage.

Spells:

As a witch the vast majority of Lysette’s attacks come in the form of spells crafted from her arcane knowledge of the older world and the horrific demons who inhabited it. The majority of Lysette’s spells and abilities are no more draining than the swinging of a sword and as such are around that level of effectiveness. Some of Lysette’s more draining spells however are capable of horrors beyond even death itself as such these spells are especially draining.

Elemental Bolt:

One of Lysette’s most frequently used and least draining spells, the bolt depending on the conditions can either be:

A sharpened icicle capable of inflicting damage to an opponent but ineffective against armor, this is generally created when the bolt is cast in cold or freezing conditions.

A ball of molten iron shrouded in swirling flame that strikes an armored opponent damaging their armor moderately and small heat damage to the target as well. This is generally used in hot environments or environments with no elemental extremes.

When used in jungle environments or in the vicinity of plant life the bolt instead forms a shard of rock that pierces the ground emitting a wave to control nearby roots in the area causing them to rise and badly damage the opponent’s armor. The roots will not however attack organic life leaving the target physically unharmed.

In modern environments the bolt becomes a cub of solid steel that is targeted at an individual limb to distract or slow an opponent withchance of fatality.

Eyes of the Ancient Ones:

This is a reactive spell that Lysette uses to see through obstacles channeling the power of the ancient beings that grant her corpse life after death. When using this spell Lysette’s vision takes a purple tint and is unaffected by magical or elemental impairments as she see’s not the physical world but the spiritual one. The spell has a draw back though as the ancient spirits behind the magic are vindictive, treacherous beings and sometimes for their own amusement deceive Lysette showing things in the wrong place or hiding obstacles and dangers from her view. Sometimes the ancient ones bombard her vision with images of unknown horrors bounding towards her for the kill. The spell lasts four turns and has a cool down period of two turns.

The Pillar of Hades:

Lysette’s most powerfull spell comes in the form of a powerful wave of dark energy that is visible in thick beam of gas made of the darkest purple with small crackles of electricity darting to and fro within the pillar. The purple wave can strip flesh from bones and cause catastrophic damage to any foe. The spell is an attack that only last’s one turn and takes three turns of charging in which Lysette’s eye’s will glow a bright purple and her hands will crackle with electrical energy. The spell may however falter occasionally and suck almost all of the magical energy out of Lysette, stopping her from casting any spells for the rest of the battle.

Shape shifting:

Lysette is able to change her form into that of a giant black funnel web spider the size of a modern 4x4. in this form Lysette gains all of the strength and web casting abilities of this creature. The spell lasts five turns and needs four turns of cool down without spells. Lysette cannot cast spells in spider form.

http://www.smh.com.au/ffximage/2006/03/28/spider_wideweb__470x356,0.jpg

Corpse Cage

Lysette calls to her Arcane masters through the power of the ruby amulet at her neck, her words spoken in a black tongue of ancient origin seep out as a pervasive gas. The grey gas is decay given form, it pervades the lungs of the target and sets to work rotting their body from the extremities inward. At the height of the spells effectiveness rigor-mortise sets in and the victim is slowed to near immobilization until they crumble to dust.

For magic users a simple detoxifying spell can dispel the rot but it can take an entire limb rotting through before the spell can be cast.

For non magical combatants Lysette keeps a flask of the potion at her hip in case her fickle gods turn the spell on her for her own amusement.

Gaze of The Elders

A deception spell, Lysette locks her opponent in an enchanted gaze, her pupils sucking in a tiny fragment of her foe's soul. In Lysette's eyes her foe sees the inhumane tortures inflicted by the elder gods to their own captive form. The spell does no damage to a foe but has been known the drive men to madness and distract the hardiest of warriors long enough for the queen of witches to harvest their youth.

Other Abilities / Weaknesses:

Lysette is vulnerable to extreme cold as she has no circulation causing the blood to freeze in her veins. This effect can result in Lysette being frozen solid by powerful enough ice spells giving opponents a chance to do extreme damage to the witch in the turn she is frozen solid for.

Personality:

Lysette is a horribly vindictive person in both life and death. As a child she used her strange link with the spirits of the world to mentally torture her class mates and teachers causing her to be shunned by all those who knew her, adding bitterness to her natural cruelty.

Lysette tortures and takes delight in the pain and anguish of any combatant she comes across. Outside of combat Lysette is tortured by the elder spirits that posses her body, her mind is constantly filled with horrific images of the old world and the battles of those who inhabited it. While Lysette is able to keep her sanity through this horrible torture it has embittered her to the world, Lysette show’s no compassion, mercy or tolerance for any living being killing and torturing anything that stumbles into her lair.

Biography:

Lysette was born in fourteenth centaury Paris into a noble family of high esteem. She grew up with all the trappings of the privileged life but still was a horrible, mean and self centered child, she threw horrible tantrums at not getting her own way and maids would spend no more than a month in the service of the little brat. The servants complained of horrific nightmares and eerie goings on when in proximity to the child.

When her attitude became intolerable after an incident on her fifteenth birthday in which she was found screaming in the woods covered in blood. Lysette was sent to a monastery to become a nun to counter her behavior. For a period Lysette played the part of the repentant sinner, diligently learning her scripture and serving the elder nuns. It did not last however and she was ejected from the sisterhood in her second year for harlotry and other vague offences. It is worth nothing that the entire monastery was wiped out with flu during the winter of that year.

In general society Lysette rose in standing marrying a high profile Parisian noble with clandestine ties to the black arts. Throughout her twenties Lysette enjoyed the life of a Parisian socialite with very little indicating the queerness of her past life. Little hints here or there began to pile up however with children going missing around her apartments and streets being hit with horrible bouts of cholera and disease.

Before long however she was found in the same woods as her childhood madness preying to an alter with strange symbols and blood sacrifices. Lysette was immediately dragged to the town centre and burned without trial as a witch. There were no screams as Lysette burned only threats and garbled words that were in a language alien to the Parisian executioners.

After the execution Lysette’s husband Patrice gathered her ashes up within a leather pouch. Free of the suspicion afforded to his wife Patrice took Lysette’s ashes to the highest point of the swiss alps and scattered them to the winds evoking the names of the ancient gods to bring back his wife.

When Pierre returned to Paris he found lying naked on the pagan alter in their hidden room a twisted, decayed image of his wife. Lysette was clutching in her maggot ridden hand a terrible axe holding the ashes he had thrown to the wind. Lysette however was an empty vessel, her mind not returned by the mere act of pleading with the old gods, the spell needed blood to be complete. Lysette regained control of her body just in time to see the head of her loving husband fall to the ground, his neck rent in two by the axe.

Lysette fled up into the mountains preying upon hikers and lost children until she was strong enough to create a more human form. She has lived throughout the ages always in the same apartment in Paris, enchanted so that the door was just visible in the corner of the eye but not there when looked for. She lived in that room unnoticed by the revolution, both world wars and the endless procession of time. Venturing out only to prey upon the people of Paris and to fuel her endless subsistence.

Boulder

Age: 10

Gender: N/A

Race: Golem

Build:

Boulder is a literal man mountain, carved from living rock Boulder stands at thirteen feet tall and weighs nine metric tons. Due to being made of rock with a metal support structure Boulder’s form is able to be slightly more abstract than the human body with huge arms ending in bludgeoning lumps. Due to his construct material Boulder moves at ponderous pace but is able to smash nearly anything into a bloody pulp. Known as the tanks of the ancient world golems are able to take large amounts of punishment, Boulder’s granite stomach is no exception and is as strong as the most dependable wall. Boulder’s feet anre flat cups that allow for little speed but are perfect for stomping. Boulder’s hands are inset with steel knuckles for better pummeling power while his fingers are perfect for tearing a smaller target apart at the seams. Boulder’s stone face is set in grimace of determination and strength.

http://nosgoth.net/Defiance/conceptart/Golem.jpg

Weapons:

Boulder has two weapons, we call them fists, he calls them Terry and Bert. Bert is a mean drunk.

Boulder’s feet can be used to make the ground shake with his monstrous footfalls, this can disorientate foes and cause objects to fall from high places if in a mountain environment.

Boulder can throw huge rocks at tremendous power using them as projectiles to crash into his targets and cause significant damage.

Abilities:

As a golem boulder is impervious to most forms of magic but can still be damaged by magic’s effect on the environment.

Due to Boulder being made of solid granite it is inadvisable to use bladed weapons on Boulder unless broken and dulled blades are what your fighters are into.

Boulder has no free will as a golem and as such has no instincts, all of his actions are controlled by a mysterious craftsman who commands Boulder through a piece of parchment in the Golem’s mouth.

Personality:

People say Boulder has very little personality of his own as he is just a shell used by a mysterious craftsman who created boulder with powerful blood magic. If you sat down and talked to boulder however you would discover a deeply introspective person asking all the pertinent psychological questions “Who am I?” “What is my purpose?” “Why don’t I have hair?” Boulder is also a pacifist and wants to retire from fighting to become a deep sea diving instructor, as such it is probably a good thing he has no free will.

Biography:

Boulder was created in Prague by a magician who wanted to use the power of the Golem to rob a local bank. Boulder did as he was bid but due to his slow speed and tendency to leave deep craters in his footfalls the police were able to tack him down and take back the money, deciding it was best not to try and arrest the nine ton Golem, if they could even find any handcuffs big enough.

Boulder has been fighting in underground tournaments ever since to make the money up to his creator in other ways.

Mittens

Age: 15

Gender: Male

Race: Nemean Lion

Build: Mittens is a Nemean Lion, a much bigger, winged version of today’s lions. Mittens measures in at twelve feet long at from head to tail and weighing four hundred kilo’s of muscle. Mittens wings sprout from his back and his wing span is slightly wider than Mittens is long. Mittens is covered in golden fur that shines in the sun and is crowned with a glorious straw colored mane that stretches from mittens fore head to just above his shoulders. Mittens' legs are extremely powerful and capable of launching him at great speeds, although the wings provide significant drag. Mittens powerful jaws are able to bite clean through sheet metal and his claws are as sharp as human swords and daggers.

http://www.danphyillaier.com/Gallery/Pages/images/19_Winged_Lion.jpg

Weapons:

Mittens' claws are razor sharp and extend eight inches out of his paws coming down in a three bladed swipe able to cause considerable damage to his foes

Mittens' Jaws are a powerful set of vice exerting tremendous pressure with the force to break bones and crunch skulls. The Jaws are made even more dangerous by the five inch, razor sharp teeth that line Mittens gums.

Mittens is also able to dive out of the sky in a high speed tackle bringing all of his four hundred kilo weight down on his opponent and opening the opponent up for an attack on the jugular with his strong jaws.

Abilities:

According the Greek legend the fur of the Nemean Lion is impenetrable to both blade and magic, this is an exaggeration as the fur is only able to offer the same resistance as normal iron plate whilst any resistance to magic is purely co-incidental and news to mittens. (he isn’t immune to magic.)

Mittens’ roar is a high decibel bellow able to disorientate and confuse targets for a post. It is not unknown however for Mittens to jump at the sound of his own roar and become confused for a post.

Mittens' has somehow picked up the ability to breath fire from his powerful jaws. The fire erupts in a spreading jet and can cause burns, set fire to environmental objects and intimidate foes but is not in itself able to be fatal without prolonged exposure.

Mittens can fly using his illustrious golden wings. Although he needs a big arena for prolonged flight.

Personality:

Mittens is a lion, he enjoys eating zebras, romantic comedy films and long walks on the beach. When in his down time Mittens often takes part in his local Greek legend reenactments, although he has gotten in trouble a few times for eating the person playing the role of Hercules. In battle Mittens is a very offensive fighter, he will launch attack after attack after attack until his opponents succumb either to his razor sharp claws or his crushing bite.

Biography:

Mittens is a Nemean lion brought back from the era of Hercules to fight in underground cat fighting leagues, as his usual opponents were a selection of rabid tabbies and other domestics he was never truely troubled by his foemen. After being rescued by the RSPCA from this lifestyle Mittens was given to the local superhero as a registered super pet.

After parting ways with Captain Awesome to make his fortune Mittens fell back into fighting but the RPA battle arena promises to throw up a more substantial challenge than the kitty fighting kabal.

Pooch

Age: 9

Gender: Male

Race: Wolf-demon

Build:

Pooch stands at seven foot tall and is built for maximum speed, agility and hitting power. Pooch is extremely muscular with tight sinewy muscles bulging under his short grey fur. Under his fur pooch has not skin but scales like those of a snake or lizard. Pooch stand like a man with a slight hunch as a compromise for the ability to run on all fours and stand on two legs. Pooch’s legs are extremely powerful propelling him to speeds of up to sixty miles and hour. His arms are powerful as well, packing the strength of a heavyweight boxer. Pooch’s jaws are strong and able to bite through flesh and tear at opponents while not being as powerful as mittens’ jaws. Pooch’s hands are curled into clawed fists for both slashing and pummeling opponents as well as wielding whatever objects and weapons he needs to get the kill.

http://www.werewolves.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2010/03/spell.jpg

Eye’s: Pooch’s eyes are thin slants like those of a snake, Pooch’s eyes are able to observe the ultra-violet spectrum proving very useful in the hunting of his prey and finding opponents through fog or other obstacles. Although because of this bright light shone directly into pooch’s eyes stun and disorientate him.

Weapons:

The only weapon Pooch uses apart from his own two paws is a wickedly sharp hatchet that Pooch can use to either throw at his target as a lethal projectile with little accuracy or as a hacking implement of pain that is less damaging to opponents.

http://www.maskworld.com/pix/new/large/a0608-2.jpg

Pooch uses his hands as human’s use fists to jab and punch at his opponents with a supernatural strength and speed.

Pooch’s teeth are very different from usual canine examples and are closer to the needle-like fangs of a snake. These are a hint of the lethal venom that Pooch can inject into the bloodstream of an opponent. The venom is a neurotoxin that can cause paralysis, disorientation and lethargy, occasionally even death but this is rare. The drawback of this is that Pooch’s two front teeth break off inside an opponent to administer the venom removing the threat of Pooch’s bite.

Abilities:

Pooch is extremely agile and athletic, moving at tremendous speeds across short distances. He can dodge and weave around slower attacks and strike with blistering speed, he can also lunge at the target with a great leap, slashing and pounding at them form above.

Personality:

Pooch is a mean guy, he likes to cruise around on a modified motor bike and cause trouble for the local police, be it loitering jay walking, giving pigs trouble or any other stupid 1950’s indiscretion. Pooch enjoys going to the drive in with his best girl and then driving up to make out point to kill a rabbit and have a picnic. Don’t call Pooch a werewolf though or he’ll rip you to shred’s, he’s a wolf/snake demon with human elements and he’s very proud of it.

Biography:

Mittens was summoned in 1950’s America in a small town where he stayed for a number of years serving the head of a gang of local greasers, roughing up punks, polishing motor bikes and basically being cool.

Before long Pooch was summoned again in the middle of the Vietnam War where he ran messages and did scouting missions. He was an effective agent and spread the fear that werewolfs and other horrible monsters were working for the Americans. After serving with covert distinction (being what the government call a person of ‘restricted existence’ his identity was covered up with an alias) he was released back into the underworld.

Pooch now fights for kicks and enjoys nothing more than testing himself in an arena in single combat.

Cymru

Age: 3290

Gender: Male

Race: Red Welsh Dragon

Build:

Cymru is a magnificent example of a Dragon, a swift, muscular monster of red scales and razor sharp talons. He is sixty feet long from horn to tale with great wings spreading out just as far. His head is a teeth filled flamethrower capable of eating whole bulls in a single bite. His legs are great trunks of meant powerful enough not only to support the impossibly heavy dragon but to launch him up in the air for flight take off. Cymru’s talons are a pitch black and crush the rock that Cyrmu perches on. Cymru’s scales shine a deep blood red getting lighter from the tale and darker towards his mouth. Cymru’s soft underbelly is an ivory yellow color as the soft flabby skin bulges over the muscles of the barrel chested dragon. Cymru’s head is crowned with bone yellow horns twisting out to either side of his great and terrible head. A number of sharp bone spines run down Cymru’s back from his head to the tip of his long tail.

Eyes:

Cymru’s eyes are a milky white and devoid of any sight, the powerful dragon blinded by the efforts of a great warrior. Cymru’s great eyes are surrounded by scars and welts from the day he lost his sight.

Distinctive Features:

A thick scar runs down the very middle of Cymru’s head after a wager with an intrepid warrior went sour. Cymru bet the warrior that his sword would shatter the moment the knight struck him on the head, the wager was if the Knight was able to slay Cymru then the dragon’s horde of treasure would be his, as well as the dragons tooth, an artifact of great power. If the sword shattered the Cyrmu would eat the knight and then descend upon his village for a late night feast. The result was that the sword did not shatter but instead wounded Cymru leaving a deep gash in the dragon’s flesh. The Dragon enraged by this decided to eat the Knight anyway but spared the village.

Weapons:

Cymru’s Talons are razor sharp serrated blades a foot long, they are capable of shearing armor and slicing flesh.

Cymru’s breath burns with the fire of the very bowels of the earth, shooting form his throat in a wide jet that spreads as it reaches its target.

Cyrmu has huge powerful jaws with large serrated teeth designed for slicing through flesh and crunching bones.

Cyrmu’s huge bulk is a weapon in itself with the ability to crush smaller warriors beneath him with consummate ease.

Cymru’s tail is a muscle bound bludgeon that can trash an opponent with tremendous speed, breaking bones and knocking targets flying.

Abilities:

As a Dragon Cymru is immune to all types of fire magic and fire based weaponry, his body built to absorb heat and compensate for it.

Despite his huge weight Cymru is capable of sustained, high speed flight due to his large, leathery wings.

Cymru is completely blind and must rely on his sense of smell and the sounds of the environment to track his way across the world or compete in battle.

Cymru is as intelligent as a mentally gifted human, capable of reason and discussion in a number of languages and pose life or death riddles with hapless adventurers unlucky enough to wander into his lair.

Personality:

Cymru is a brilliant mind bored by centuries of loneliness and isolation away from civilization after being charged to guard the tomb of King Arthur. Cymru loves intellectual discourse over such topics as philosophy, morality and religion. Cymru is a warm character who will be a steadfast ally if you are fortunate enough to befriend the great dragon.

Cymru is also possessed of a razor sharp dry wit and good sense of humor; he is just as likely to applaud a well constructed joke as a well executed riposte. As with all dragons Cyrmu’s word is his bond and if he pledges himself in service to an individual or group he will see out his promise to the very end.

If angered Cymru will be dogged in his quest for vengeance or satisfaction, he will pursue a foe to the very ends of the earth for any wrong, the grudge lasting just as long as the life of the offender.

Biography:

Cymru was born from the brood of an Arch Dragon, a beast of un-believable power and wisdom. From an early age Cymru was the pick of the litter, he was stronger and faster than any of his brood mates when he was a Drake, as soon as his wings came in he would fly out over the lands and bring back whole sheep eating them to himself as his siblings at this point half his size shared scraps of meat.

Cymru eventually grew to full size but did not inherit the gargantuan trait of his Arch Dragon heritage. Cyrmu left the mountains of his birth to find a kingdom to burn and amass the beginnings of his own horde from.

Before long Cymru came across an affluent regional castle and scorched fort from top to bottom eating or burning everyone within. Cymru carried away the treasure safely within his belly before expunging it into his cave in the centre of the local mountain, Mount Snowdon.

Cymru’s reputation grew amongst the local area and before long great knights came to slay the famous dragon and take his gold for themselves hoping to claim the dragons head as the ultimate trophy. Hundreds of men went into the mountain and none came out, entire armies marched into the narrow pass at the top of the snow capped peak and never returned, all burned or consumed by the dragon in the centre of the mountain. Cymru continued to grow and continued to increase in power, eventually reaching the cusp of becoming an Arch Dragon.

Cymru’s reign over his mountain hall came to an end however with the coming of a young squire. The boy taxed by his master who wanted him dead with a mission to retrieve his sword from what he was told to be an empty cave the squire entered the dragon’s lair.

The first the Squire knew of the dragon was a loud breathing and a heat on the back of his neck, when the boy turned he faced the dragon staring into its great emerald green eyes. Cymru laughed at the small frightened child in front of him and mocked the young man as too weak a meal to count as an afternoon brunch.

While Cymru laughed however the boy took up a near by sword, once wielded by a great and terrible warrior and lunged at the dragon. The Squire hacked and slashed at the eye’s of the great beast, blinding it before fleeing the cave to become the great Sir Galahad of the Court of Camelot.

Cymru sulked in the darkness of his cave and his power diminished, ever since Galahad had left the cave intact all interest in the Dragon and his horde was gone and Cymru was left to stagnate, a mere boogeyman to scare the children of the mountain.

In recent years however Cymru stirs and his power grows as he wishes to fight and kill any challengers with the hope of regaining his former glory through the healing power of great triumph in battle.
