Rated M (for now! Let's cover all our bases)
Premise: Two ancient kingdoms sit on the knife's edge, at the brink of complete war. As tensions over territory disputes and resources reach a fever pitch, the governments of both nations work tirelessly toward a peaceful resolution. The world at large looks on with hope as a new King comes to power in the west. With his ascension government officials begin to arrange a plan that had quelled the flames of wire in days past. The plot? A marriage. The King in the west is to marry the Crown Princess in the east uniting the two royal families and two Kingdoms with the possibility of peace eternal.
With the King's fate all but sealed and the Crown Princess on her way to the capitol, he, determined to understand the plight of his people and what an end to the threat would mean disguises himself and hides amongst the citizenry where he unexpectedly meets a commoner with little to spare, but an overwhelming desire to help those in need above herself. Will the King fulfill his duty to country and marry as he is intended? Or will he choose love no matter the cost?
For characters we will need:
King (Hannelorian)
Crown Princess (Hannelorian)
Commoner (moonlightsky)
Other characters that might exist if we want them to?:
Kingsguard/Princess Guard
Assorted Ministers
King & Queen in the East (Princess' parents)
King sibling(s)
Kingdom names x2
Maybe some city names?
In terms of character sheets and the like, I'm not huge into a ton of detail, I kind of like to let my characters grow organically throughout the course of the story. It's kind of like an agile philosophy of, I don't make a decision about a character until the last possible moment (for the most part), but if you want to add more that's fine! I think just basics work at first.
So let's go:
Name:
Age:
Gender:
Kingdom:
Role: King, Commoner, Princess, etc...
Other detail as appropriate:
And anything else you want to add?
