[Clucky Has Arrived]

In gang life, you always have to worry about living to see the next day. For one girl, those fears came true in an instance. Her life was perfect and in her gang, she didn’t have to worry about that, not until the unthinkable happens. Will this girl live to see another day? Will her life as a gang member be over or will she drag others down with her?

Flashing lights, many flashing lights. The blue and red colors shining on the old teared-up curtain in the darkroom within the early mornings before the sun even showed its face to the sleeping city. The teenage girl sitting on her bed as she watched a police car's flashing lights shine through the dark of the night, the knock on the door from the officer and a social worker most likely. Its been three days since the incident, the weekend is now over and the people finally realizing that some of the dead victims had a daughter. The red-haired girl checked her phone, it was much too early to trouble her boyfriend but letting him know she wasn't going to get to school today was necessary.

Once they broke down the door and started looking around the house that never had much, they found her in her room, she just sighed and stood up, not really even caring what they said as she just followed them out of the house. Trying to comfort her, but she didn't need that right now, she had spend the entire weekend alone, and now she was getting dragged off into another life. At the orphanage, they tried seeing if she had any other family members but nothing came up. As the people there started speaking and making plans on keeping her there until she was eighteen or adopted she just got out her phone and texted Gavin.

'Sorry, not going to make it today, I'm at the orphanage... was an accident and stuff this weekend so yeah, I'll try to see if I can get out but they seem very set on keeping me here... Love you.' She sends it and then just leaned back in her seat as she watched the people quietly. She seemed pretty emotionally dead at that point, but her parents got killed in a burning gang building, along with forty other people during school on Friday. She came home and they just never did until she saw why on the news. She knew that building well, so it just made it clear what had happened.

Gavin had awoken about four in the morning. He had a system that he did, every morning. The Brown haired, blue eyed boy, always got up to eat. Normally he would send his beautiful girlfriend a 'Good Morning' but he just forgot that day. He ate his breakfast then went to workout in his room. After a workout he normally went to shower.

After his shower and getting ready, he normally had prayer time and worship with his family. After that he goes to sit to eat another quick breakfast before heading out to his favorite coffee shop.

After coffee he headed off to school. As he drove to school he got a text from his girlfriend. Frowning, he tried to call her. He stated to bite on his lip as he waited for her to answer. He knew that his parents loved her and would try to help as they had tons of money.

Matilda watched her screen silently, a few small cracks showing on its screen right before it lights up and vibrates with the incoming call from Gavin. Taking a second to just stare at the screen before she took a breath and answered it. "Hey..." She managed to say out but a small trail of silence followed after that, she didn't really know what to say but realized she should probably explain what had happened. "So umm... Not sure if you saw that big building burning the other day... Saw it on the news yesterday, and it turns out my parents were in there so... Yeah." She spoke out, though her speech was rather shallow, tired, and not as cheerful as usual around him.

"They came to get me this morning, but it was too early so I didn't want to bother you... I'm just here in the NorthBound orphanage, I'll try to see if they will let me go back to the same school later." Matilda added before leaning back in her seat and moving up her legs to hug them against her chest. She then said: "Don't worry too much though, it seems safe here, the people seem nice."

She knew Gavin was easily much too kind-hearted and would probably even skip school to help her but she didn't want him falling behind, in reality, the two shouldn't even have become friends, something like this was bound to happen even. Yet she couldn't find it in her heart to part ways with him, though she was scared they might force her to if she gets placed into another family far from here. After realizing this the fear only started keeping in more as she held onto her legs tighter.

Gavin frowned a little and pulled into a parking lot to talk. He then parked and sighed a little. "Do you know how the fire happened or what they were doing there?" He asked her and then started to think.

He could always go to get her. He had the money to adopt her. He needed to get home to his parents. This girl was the light of his life and he couldn't lose her. After a moment be sighed and started to drive home.

"I'm going home to see about my parents adopting you. You've already been though so much and we can give you a better life." He said and then shook his head. "You were alone all weekend?" He asked her, worried so badly about her.

"I don't know how it happened, I was at school then with you... They probably had work or meeting up with someone, I don't know." She said softly and felt her throat growing sore as she did her best not to start crying again. She took a deep breath and just calmed herself.

She was surprised by the sudden idea he had about his parents adopting her, though she wasn't sure if they would. "R-Really? B-But Gavin I don't want to be a burden." She said with a cracking voice as she remained trying to keep herself together.

"Y-Yes... But that is okay." She said softly after he asked if she was alone the entire weekend, she sniffed a bit and sighed before she said: "I'm sorry... I'm just causing problems now again."

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin sighed and he was of course annoyed with her, but he also really cared for her. "Honey, its okay. I want you to be able to talk to me." He said and soon pulled back up to his house. "Tell them you might have someone to get you."

He then walked inside the house and called for his Mother. "Mom, I know I'm supposed to be at school, but I need to talk to you about something important." He said and then looked for her.

An officer sighed and walked over to the girl. "What is your name again?" He asked her slowly and then began to sit by her. "We are working to get you in the system so someone can and will hopefully adopt you."

Matilda listened to him, she took a breath to calm herself down before she said: "I know... I'm sorry." She scratched the back of her neck for a moment then said: "Alright, I will do that." She hung up then looked to see the officer coming over.

"Matilda... And, there might be people who will take me in... But I don't completely know yet, I should hear from them soon." She said and glanced at her phone again for a moment before she just hugged her legs again not saying another word.

The woman frowned as she heard the voice of her son and walked downstairs while looking at him confused. "It better be very important if you are skipping school about it, did something happen honey?" She asked him and walked over before checking a notification coming up on her watch as she said: "My work is also looking for me soon so best hurry sweetheart."

The officer nodded his head and started to write. "So Matilda, who is this person or people that might be coming to get you?" He asked her softly, just wanting to know that info so they could get first pick. "Now, do you have any siblings that we need to go find?"

Gavin nodded his head slowly. "Yes, Matilda texted me and told me her parents died and she was getting put into the system." He started and went to get him a glass of water as he did stress drink. "I don't want get to go though that so I was wondering if you could talk with Dad real quick about you guys adopting her. Please, I really like her and she is my girlfriend."

Matilda glanced at the officer and said: "Gavin's parents and him probably." She glanced back down while a soft sigh left past her lips and she said: "No... It's just me." She herself shouldn't even have been born, her parents never planned on it but it ended up happening though even so she was quite loved she would say.

Sofia gasped a bit and said: "Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear that." She got out her phone and said: "I'll get your father on the phone right now and see what we can do okay honey? Don't stress." She called her husband waiting to tell him what was going on.

The officer nodded and kept writing. "Okay and who is Gavin to you?" He asked and looked as another officer tried to wave him over. "Okay, hold up." He said to the officer and then glanced back at Matilda. "I'd like to check you for injuries."

Gavin looked at his Mother and let out a small sigh of relief before he started to drink his water.
Johnny looked as his phone rang and picked up. "Hey honey, everything okay? I never hear from you until later." He said and took a sip of his coffee.

Matilda watches as he continued writing everything down, she lifted her head as she said: "My boyfriend." She soon glanced over at the other officer coming before she frowned at the question and asked: "Why? I wasn't there, how would I have gotten hurt?... I was at home the entire time." She didn't like the idea of them asking this many questions, mainly because police made her on edge due to her family background and jobs, which they perhaps didn't know about but she still felt like it might come up.

"Well Gavin came back home and said that Matilda just lost her parents, she is now at the orphanage I am guessing... I don't want to bother you too much at work but I do need to know if it's okay if we go get her?" Sofia replied and sighed a little looking over at Gavin worried.

The officer chuckled a little. "Well we need to track any bumps or scrapes as we go to check on the foster kids to make sure no abuse is going on." He said and then glanced back at the other officers. "We do like monthly checkups."

Johnny sighed a little and thought for a moment. "Yeah, go ahead and get her. I'll get off early and come up." He said and then glanced at all of his paperwork. "I'll just have to work in my office at home. Love you." He said and then got off the phone.

Gavin had already gone through three glasses of water before looking at his mother. He was so nervous. What if his Father said no? It would be no more question about it. His girlfriend would be sent to random homes.

Matilda watched them for a moment and then gave a nod as she said: "Okay... What do I have to do?" She glanced at them and then just back down again just wanting to get out of this place.

"Alright then, I'll see you soon love." Sofia said and placed the phone down before grabbing her keys and saying: "Alright then, let's go get her Gavin, just send me the directions." She smiled and walked out to her car.

He smiled and got her to stand before he started to look over her arms. "Do you get hurt easily? Were your parents abusive in any way?" He asked, moving her hair to look at her neck.

Gavin smiled happily and then got his phone to call his girlfriend back. Once she answered he smiled. "Hey baby. We are on the way." He said to her and texted his Mom the address once he was in. "Are you okay? Do they have you in the system yet?"

Matilda watched them while she said: "No, don't get hurt easily and don't have abusive parents... Not like that can be anymore if they ever were." She heard her phone again and quickly picked it up before smiling a little for the first time since Friday. "Yes... I am okay, they are checking me for wounds right now so probably will be in there soon." She replied softly and then glanced at the officers again for a moment while she said: "I'll see you soon then... Thank you."

Sofia got the address and placed it on the car's screen while driving off. She glanced over at Gavin and made sure he was doing okay, she didn't want him stressing too much at all.

The officer nodded and saw a mark on her neck. "Did you know this was here?" He asked and gave it a little pressure. "Does it hurt to touch?" He asked her softly and then glanced at her phone. "Was that your boyfriend?" He asked and got another officer to come over to look.

Gavin frowned and then began to look for a water bottle. "Do we have anymore water?" He asked slowly, wanting to drink so he wouldn’t cry.

Matilda listened to the officer then felt him poking at her neck, she frowned and said: "No, but it doesn't hurt either... Might have just bumped into something earlier or something." She looks at her phone again and said: "Yes... They are almost here."

"You can find some in my bag dear." His mother said and glanced over at him for a moment saying: "Small sips remember small sips." She rained driving and after some time spotted the building so drove in to park the car.

The officer nodded and then smiled. "Well, I will go put you into the system so they can adopt you when they get here." He said and thennwrnt to his computer toupload her information.

Gavin nodded and got it from her purse before he opened it and started to drink. Once he saw the building he actually felt quite relaxed. All that mattered to him now was putting his arms around her.

Matilda nodded and watched them as they uploaded ger to the system, she just sat back down and waited to hear from Gavin and his mother, not wanting to be in here for longer than it was needed. She sighed and glanced up saying: "Did they get my things from the house?" Not that there was much, but she at least wanted her teddy bear cat she got from her parents as a child, it laid on her bed but she forgot to take it.

Sofia took her purse and got out before walking over towards the building. She entered in and went to the reception saying: "Good day, we are looking for a teenage girl called Matilda that just got in today."

[Clucky Has Arrived]

The officer frowned and shook his head. "No, I'm sorry. Was there something you were wanting?" He asked her softly and got a call on the radio that they needed Matilda to go up and meet a family. "It seems someone is here to meet you."

The lady nodded her head and smiled before going to get it called in before she started to lead them to the meeting room. "She will be here shortly.

Gavin sighed and sat. He watched the door the entire time. The moment he saw her, he got up and went to hug her. "Hey honey." He said and wrapped his arms around her in a hug.

"Just my bear." She said softly and then looked at the radio and stood up as she said: "Yes, thank you." After that, she walked off to meet them. Not long after she was met with a loving embrace from Gavin, where she just rested her head on his chest weakly holding onto him too, unable to say much as she just stood there not wanting to let go.

Sofia watched as Matilda showed up, the girl was clearly not her usual self but she didn't expect her to be after losing her family. She looked over at the lady over the counter and said: "Alright what needs to happen for me to take her home? Are there things I need to sign or pay? Just let me know and I'll arrange for all of it."

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin smiled and kissed her head before he started to kiss her cheek. "I'm so sorry." He said to her and then led her to sit down. "My family is going to take you in."

The lady smiled and handed her a stack of papers. "You just need to read through fill this out. Then you will have to pay us to take her before you leave." She said then glanced over at the girl. "And we will be dropping by to check on her."

Matilda sat down next to Gavin and just held onto him still, placing her head on his chest as she sniffed a bit and give a small nod. "Thank you, Gavin." She softly said as she just sank into him more, still trying not to cry.

Sofia started working through the papers while she said: "Alright thank you, you can get the payment ready." She started signing the papers before glancing over at the two while she sighed softly. She then finished up the papers and said: "Alright that should be all of them, here is my card."

Gavin frowned and pulled her into his lap before he started to rub her back. "I love you." He whispered to her and then started hug her. "Its okay to cry, its a way of life."

The lady nodded and looked over it before taking the card and scanning it. "You are welcome to take her home now." She said and then picked up the phone as it started to ring.

Johnny sighed as he couldn’t get off of work so he texted Sophia. 'Wouldn't let me get off. See you guys tonight.'

Matilda curled up on his lap and sniffed more, feeling a few tears silently slip past and soak up into his shirt. She gave a small nod and softly said: "I love you too... T-thank you." Soon she glanced over at his mother who spoke.

"Alright you two, let's get home." She checked her phone to see Johnny's text and quickly replied with a okay, she knew he would be busy due to some important meetings. She then took the two to the car while she said: "Alright, I'll call the school and notify them of your absence okay? Do you two want some ice cream or so perhaps as we head home?"

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin frowned and hugged her closer when she actually started crying. He then began to stand up. "I think just heading home. Maybe going to the store to get stuff for her." He said softly and then kissed her cheek. "Would you like that Matilda?"

Sofia nodded ar Gavin and then took the two over to the car before getting in herself. Matilda followed them to the car silently and smiled weakly at Gavin before she sat down on the seat and said softly: "It's okay... I don't need anything right now, I'll be okay... Thank you." Sofia glanced back at her and said: "I'll drop you two at home and go get some things anyway, still need some dinner plans and the Esmeralda isn't in today either so I'll be cooking for us, you two just take the day off and Matilda, dear, I'll make sure the school knows you won't be coming for a bit, just until you feel better."

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin smiled a little and got into the backseat with Matilda. "Mom, what about getting her a special bed and you know all the pampery stuff we have?" He asked her softly and then began to rub her shoulder. "And are we still allowed to date even though we are like adopted siblings now?" He didn't know at all how his father would feel as he was old school.

Sofia started driving them home and said: "Yes we can definitely do that, she will need it a lot now, as well as you Gavin dear, so remember to support her." She soon couldn't help but chuckle at his question and then said: "It would be silly not to allow that, you aren't siblings dear, we are helping Matilda by giving her a home and a future especially one with you, plus having her move in with strangers would only be worse, this is more comforting to her this way I hope, so there is no need to see this as a sibling or parent perspective, just see it as a family supporting each other type of thing, by now Matilda is already family, you know how much we love her."

Matilda listened to them as she was just cuddling up to Gavin. She didn't say much, though she was more talkative when around him usually. "It sounds strange if you call us siblings anyway, so I prefer... Just being your girlfriend." She said softly and closed her eyes, the tiredness of sleepless nights getting to her now that she was in a place she felt comfortable.

Gavin chuckled a little and looked at her before he pulled her over to lay her head on him. "Well, you are in the rich life. You can have whatever you want and not have to worry about it." He said and then began to smile. He then glanced at his mother and talked quietly. "Mom, did you ever call work to tell them you wouldn't make it in due to family emergency?" He asked as he rubbed Matilda's arm.

"Huh... Of course one must worry about it, it costs money to get things." Matilda just said looking at him confused for a moment but didn't really stay awake long enough to hear his reply as she dozed off.

Sofia gasped and said: "Oh no I haven't yet, the agencies would be worried sick by now!" She quickly got on the phone and told her work what had happened, luckily she did run the place so she couldn't exactly get fired for not showing up without a warning. But the place still needed her so that it could run through the day.

Gavin smiled and then watched as they rode. "Mom, do you think she will be okay with us?" He asked her slowly and then began to rub Matilda's arm. He then started to this about this mystery of a girlfriend he had. He knew she was poor and just couldn't believe that it was just poorest going on in her life. There was something else.

"It's going to take some time to adjust for her perhaps but yes she will be just fine." Sofia said and glanced back at them for a moment noticing that Matilda had fallen asleep. "Plus she has you, it's quite clear she trusts you a lot." She smiled and not long after parked the car at the house. She got out and opened the door for the two while Matilda slowly woke up again. Rubbing her eyes before she stood up and looked at Gavin with a small smile as she softly said: "Sorry... I fell asleep."

Gavin smiled and nodded his head. He then got out, watching Matilda slowly. He then walked to be beside her before slowly taking her hand. "Okay, now remember. There are four rooms you can choose to be in, but only one of them has another master bathroom." He told her as both his parents and him chose the other two masters. He watched as his mother opened the door before walking in. "Are you hungry?"

Matilda looked over at him and said: "I don't care... Any is fine with me." She entered the large house and glanced around, she had been here before for dinner or lunch at times but never explored the large house. So she just went and sat down on the couch, looking down at her hands while she said: "No... I'm not hungry." That was strange for her since she tends to eat up a storm when herself.

Gavin nodded and then sighed before going to his mother. "Mom, maybe we should also get her some sort of therapy." He whispered to her before tears started to form in his eyes. "I'm really worried about her Mom." He cried out to her softly before hugging her. "Thank you for getting her."

Sofia looked at Gavin and sighed softly, she hugged her son close wnd said: "I'll get her some therapy yes... She is going to go through a hard time but don't worry she will get better okay? Why don't you get a movie going and you two just relax?" She kissed his forehead then got her phone and started ordering some things from a few shops for the day and for Matilda's room.

Matilda just watched her hands silently, she sighed softly before she moved her legs up again to hug them against her chest as she tried to calm herself down.

Gavin nodded and then sniffled before watching her. "Thank you so much Mom." He said to her softly and then started to get up to go get Matilda. He then started to think more about her and knew he had to get some answers.

He walked over and tapped her shoulder. "Hey, Mom wants us to go to the movie room and watch something." He said to her and motioned for her to follow him to their home theater. Of course she had never seen it before.

Matilda sniffed a bit then looked at Gavin before she stood up and followed him as she said: "Okay..." She held onto his arm just wanting to be close to him as she sighed softly. "Sorry for the trouble I am causing." She said knowing she has been apologizing too much but she was grateful that Gavin was so willing to help her.

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin chuckled a little and nodded his head. "You are very welcome. You don't have to keep saying you are sorry." He told her and then started to enter the room. "What do you think of it? All of our seats recline too." He said to her and then went to grab the remote to cut on the big TV. "We have like all the movies in the world so you can pick one."

Matilda gasped a bit as she looked at the large room. She glanced around and found a place to sit down before she said: "Ummm... I don't have anything in mind so you can decide on a movie." She waited for him to be next to her before she cuddled up to him while she said: "It's really amazing, I haven't seen anything this big yet." She yawned a bit and snuggled closer before she said: "Gavin... Is there anything I can do to help around the house? I don't want to be a burden."

Gavin smiled and looked at her. "No, we don’t do anything. Our servants do everything for us." He said and then started to flip through the movies. "How about Tangled?" He asked her and then leaned over and decided it was time to kiss her for the first time. "Baby, you aren't a burden." He said and then kissed her softly

"Servents." She said looking at him confused realizing she hasn't been here enough to notice that. She then looked back at the movies and gave a nod saying: "Okay... Let's watch that." She soon felt his sweet kiss and happily returned it before crawling onto his lap so that she could cuddle him better. She leaned into his touch before she started crying a bit once more and said: "I love you so much."

Gavin frowned and put his arms around her. "Hey, its going to be okay." He said and then started to caress her shoulders. "Itll be fine." He said and then started to stroke her arms. "Look at me. You don't have to worry anymore. You can have whatever you want. Whenever you want."

Matilda leaned against him, listening to his words while she just relaxed into his arms. She then sniffed and nodded her head but soon looked back up at him as she said: "Life isn't that simple Gavin, you can't always have everything you want... Especially not whenever you want it." She cupped his cheeks and said: "But as long as I have you, I already have everything I want."

[Clucky Has Arrived]

Gavin frowned a little and looked at her. "What are you talking about? Its always been that way for me." He whispered to her and then began to kiss her again. "You know, I have a plan for us and its perfect." He told her, glancing at her. "And it involves you getting what you want."

Matilda sighed softly, she knew his life was easy, but things didn't always work out that way and she was scared in the future he might realize it the hard way. She hoped not, she wanted him safe and happy, always. "I know it has." She just replied and soon kissed him back while she wrapped her arms around his neck and smiled as she said: "Is it now? Well with you in that plan anything can be perfect... What I want is only you, nothing else." She glanced over at the large screen and then back at him again as she said: "You are amazing Gavin." Softly planting another kiss on his lips.

Gavin chuckled a little and returned every single one of his kisses. Of course he knew that life wasn't always perfect, but it could be with her. He knew she didn't get the pleasure of growing up like he did, but he knew he had to change that for good. He looked at the screen and smiled. "You ever watch this before?"

Johnny sighed and came home from his job as a boss at a constructure site. He walked in and set his bag down before heading upstairs to where his wife was. "Hey beautiful." He said and walked over to rub her shoulders.

Matilda smiled at him and then turned her attention over to the movie, though she remained quite comfortable on his lap curled up against him. "No... I haven't." She said softly, not really watching movies much throughout her life, so finds it quite interesting to see one. She had calmed down quite a bit now, and just kept close to Gavin.

Sofia saw Johnny and smiled as she looked at him and said: "Hey handsome... You managed to get off early it seems." She then sighed softly and said: "Poor Matilda doesn't even seem a little like herself at the moment, refusing food or anything really else but Gavin so the two are watching a movie... The poor girl, we never even got to meet her parents."

Gavin smiled and looked at her. "I'm glad you are enjoying the movie." He said and started to caress her back. "You are okay to sleep in a bed by yourself, right?" He asked her slowly and then started to pat her back. "My parents will have rules."

Johnny nodded and sighed. "Yea, Well hopefully with her living here she will learn that we are okay." He said and then frowned a little. "They are alone?" He asked slowly and uncomfortably. He then smiled as Bittyboo came into the kitchen.

Matilda nodded a bit and felt her eyes growing heavy again. She then snapped out of it as he asked her if she would be okay sleeping alone, she had always been so she just said: "Yes." Then tilted her head and said: "Are there specific rules to know? I wish not to cause problems." She watched him wanting to make sure she learned early what she was allowed to do and what not.

"I am sure she thinks we are okay, I mean she has visited here before honeybun." Sofia said with a chuckle and soon only laughed softly at his uncomfortable look as he asked if they were alone. "Of course, but you should know your son can be trusted by now, he has his standards, not to mention, do you really think a grieving girl who just lost her parents would want to do anything sexual?" She asked and wrapped her arms around him for a moment. "If you go in there I am sure you would only find a cuddling pair if she didn't fall asleep already, the poor girl seems exhausted, but if you feel better you can go check." She added before kissing him and returning to making dinner.

Gavin blushed a little and rubbed his neck. "Well, nothing past kissing. We can't sleep in the same bedroom." He said and then began to look back at the screen. "They will want you to go to church and I know you don't really like church."

Johnny shook his head slowly. "No, we just need to make them aware of our rules." He told her and then began to pet the dog. "So, what ya cooking?" He asked her, going to look over her shoulder at the food.

Matilda looked at him and tilted ger head as she said: "I know those ones, you told me those when we started dating." She softly chuckled and just looked back at the television before she said: "Church? Well, I haven't gone there much so can't really say if I like it or not... Gavin nodded and smiled slightly. "Thanks babe." He whispered before slowly moving to get up. "So are you ready to go into the kitchen. Maybe we can get a little something to go ahead and wake you up?" He asked her then started to pat her head. "I love you."

Johnny licked his lips with a smile. "Smells great." He said to her and started to slowly plant kisses on her neck. At her question he stopped and sighed, going more to look at her. "Not great. Someone busted a hole into the wrong wall." He said and then began to shake his head. "Cost me at least 2000 dollars to get it fixed."

Matilda looked at him as he started moving to get up, she sighed and stood up then gave a nod while she said: "Okay... We can do that." She yawned a bit then just waited to follow him out to the kitchen while her eyes scanned the large room they were in. "I love you too." She softly said and looked at him.

Sofia smiled as she tilted her head to feel more of his sweet kisses against her neck and then said: "I am glad ur does, my cooking skills are getting better." She then frowned as he spoke about not having a great day, she turned and looked at him while she cuts off the stove how that it was done. "I am sorry to hear that, where did the information go wrong?" She looked at him worried.

Gavin smiled and then started to walk to the coffee maker. "Would some coffee wake you up?" He asked her softly then galnced over at the food on the stove. "Or maybe even some sort of soda?" He asked Matilda before glancing at his mother. "Smells great. Bet it'll be good too."

Johnny sighed and went to take a seat at the bar. "It was a higher rank worker listening to a lower rank worker." He told her and then started to glancing as the two came in. He looked to Matilda and smiled. "Hey, I'm sorry about your parents."

"Yes... That should help probably, coffee would be nice and warm too." She said softly and glanced at the food before she noticed that his father had returned so she slightly waved and said: "Hello mister Johnny, thank you for allowing me to stay here." She gave a small bow and then glanced back at Gavin.

"That's quite odd... And troublesome." She replied and sighed then glanced over at the two coming over before she said: "Well we should be able to eat soon so don't run off too far you two." Smiling at them before she looked at Johnny asking: "Would you like a drink dear?"

Gavin nodded and started to work on making the coffee. "Want three sugar and two cream right?" He asked and then glanced at his mother before cracking a smile. "Of course. So what did the school say?" He asked her softly. He then glanced back at Matilda with a large smile. He was so happy to have her there with them.

Johnny nodded and smiled. "Of course, you are family. You've been family ever since my son got with you." He said and then glanced at his wife, with a questioning look as he saw Matilda bow to him. He then smiled a little. "Yeah, maybe a Cream Soda." He said to her and then looked as he got a text. "Gotta give them the money by next week."

"No sugar thanks... I don't feel like anything too sweet today." She softly said and then looked back at his father and smiled a bit before she said: "Thank you very much." She looked at Gavin once more who seemed rather cheerful now. She was glad, she liked seeing him happy, even smiling a little herself as his positive vibes could take over any room.

Sofia watched the two then saw Johnny's confused look and just shrugged a bit, Matilda wasn't herself and that showed but it was also expected with what she went through, so Sofia didn't question it too much. She got a cream soda and handed it over to Johnny while she said: "Well if you need some extra help there, I have been doing rather well recently so got some to spare dearest."

Gavin nodded and made it before pouring some cream into the cup before stirring it. He then walked to her and handed her the coffee cup. "Here ya go love." He said and then started to glance at the food again. "Can I go ahead and get mine and Matilda's food?"

Johnny smiled and took his Soda before he opened it and started to drink it. He then smiled a little and glanced at the two. "Just make sure you say your blessing." He said and then glanced at his wife. "I would love the help. So how have things been running so smoothly for you?"

Matilda took the coffee and smiled at him as she softly said: "Thank you." She took a sip of the coffee and then looked at the food before she smiled and nodded at his father who said it was alright to do so.

Sofia smiled and made a plate for the two and handed it over before she said: "Enjoy you two, come back for more if you are still hungry." She then started making two plates for Johnny and herself as well while she said: "Well we have been having a lot of famous models coming over and it's been attracting attention... Plus that new hire was really worth it, she is such a hard worker too and has been making quite a lot of useful arrangements, I mean I got to skip work today, two months ago I couldn't skip a day if I wanted it to fall into chaos, oh and that boy Poal has been upping his game now with compensation around, everyone is just so motivated for work it's amazing." She placed his plate down then sat down herself.

Gavin took the plates and headed back to the movie room with them before he sat their plates down. He then waited on her before he said their blessing then picked up his plate to start eating food. He then glanced at her. "Is it good?" He asked her softly.

Johnny smiled and listened to her. "Well that is greta honey." He said and said their blessing before he started to eat. "So, any new dresses that you have come up with?" He asked her slowly and started eating. "Mmmh, so good!"

Matilda followed him back and sat down, looking at her food before closing her eyes as he blessed the food, after that she started eating rather slowly but she knew she had to put some food in her system. She glanced at him and smiled saying: "Yes, it's good." She smiled then continued eating while she watched the movie.

Sofia smiled and said: "Well we are designing quite a few recently, they are also selling quite well but our main focus has been on orders from brides or such, so that has been taking quite a bit of our time too." She said and started eating her food.

Gavin smiled and ate. Though after a moment he paused the movie and gave her a serious look. "You know, you are mysterious." He told her softly and then started to watch her closely. "There is so much about you that I don't know. That i want to know."

Johnny nodded and smiled. "Speaking of brides. I was wondering if we could renew our wedding vows?" He asked her softly. It had been something he had on his mind for a while and he really wanted to do it

"Mysterious?" She asked him and tilted her head, she then smiled and said: "Well, what is there you wish to know? I have never kept things from you if you ask." She of course knew she had things hidden but tried to not make it too obvious in the past, she didn't want to hide anything.

"Oh? I would love that." Sofia said and leaned towards him with a smile on her face, she finished her food and smiled happily as she said: "What do you have planned my dearest?"

Gavin looked at her and then set his fork down before looking her in the eyes. "What did your family do for a living?" He asked her, knowing she always changed the subject when it came to that. He then began to eat his food again while he watched her.

Johnny chuckled as her face got closer to his before he started to swallow his last bite. He took another quick drink of his soda. He then stole a kiss from her lips before saying. "Well, nothing yet. I wanted to see if you'd be up for it. We are rich so we can." He said and then gave her another kiss.

"Well... Clearly nothing anymore, but for when they were alive, that could differ, they did all types of small jobs for bigger people, why life went up and down most of the time." She said and started eating again, hoping that answer would satisfy him more hen just trying to ignore it.

Sofia smiled as her eyes shine with cheerfulness, soon she kissed him back and giggled a bit, feeling like a teenager in love again at that moment before she said: "Okay, well I do like the idea of that, so let me know what plans are around and I'll help set them up." She kissed him once more and grinned.

Gavin nodded his head and then began to eat his food some more. "Like what kind of small jobs?" He asked her and looked at her. Of course he wanted his answers, he was going to get his answers. He longed to know why he loved this girl so much.

Johnny chuckled and nodded his head. "Will do." He whispered to her and then started to think a little. "You could get your dream wedding dress." He told her, knowing she would like the sound of that.

"Oh uhh, well like trades and meetings and cleanup type of stuff, nothing too impressive." She said wondering why he that deeply wanted to know about her parents. He should know they aren't impressive people like his own, she scratched the back of her head a little and placed her plate away before she pulled him over for a kiss.

Sofia smirked and said: "My dream wedding dress? Basically, I just need to go get that old one of mine out and fancy it up a bit... Since that has always been my dream one silly." She stood up and walked around the table to sit doen next to him and wrap her arms around him.

Gavin slolwy started to kiss her. Of course decided to drop this matter for now. He got something out of her which was always nice. He put his arms around her and pulled back to look into her eyes.

Johnny chuckled and smiled at her. He then started to think. "Okwy, back to adulting. What stuff have you got for Matilda's room? How are we going to get her active in church?" He asked her softly and then started to rub her shoulders.

Matilda smiled as he seemed to have dropped the questions and just kissed him happily, feeling his arms around her causing her to just lean closer to him before opening her eyes to get lost in his own. "I love you." She softly said.

"Oh made the bed, got some laps set up and so, but I should probably get her some clothes... As for the church, I am sure she will come, she seems rather eager to actually help too, kind of making it obviously she doesn't come from a very rich neighborhood." She said and smiled at him as she relaxed into his touch.

Gavin smiled and looked back into her eyes. "I love you too." He said and looked at the time. "Well, have school in the morning so I guess I better go to bed." He said and got up to take their plates to the kitchen and to tell his parents to sleep well. "Hey guys, I'm about to hit the hay." He said and quickly gave his parents a hug. "Love you guys."

Johnny nodded his head and smiled. "You could take her on a shopping spree with a one thousand dollar budget. That should be enough." He said and then smiled, patting his son on the back. "Sleep well." He said and looked down the hall to see if Matilda would emerge.

Matilda smiled and nodded, soon she watched him get up talking about bed and she stood up before slowly following behind him. She entered the kitchen and then softly said: "Good night everyone... Thank you for the food."

Sofia smiled and said: "Yes I could do that." She then looked at the two coming over and hugged her son saying: "Good night sweety! Make sure to show Matilda her room okay? Sleep well!"

Gavin nodded to his mother and then led Matilda to her room. "Here ya are." He said and looked at her. "Do you like it?" He asked her and then led her over to lay in her bed. "And I'm right across from you."

Johnny smiled and looked at his wife. "So, any more news on your parents with the situation?" He whispered to her softly.

"It's so big." She said and glanced around, soon laying down on the bed and covering herself while she nodded at his words. "Okay... Thank you, and sleep well." She smiled at him then closed her eyes.

Sofia shook her head and said: "Not yet... I hope I do soon though." She sighed softly and closed her eyes.

The next morning Gavin got up and got started again with his normal before school routine. Of course everyone else in his family was up doing their routines too. Though he didn't know if Matilda was up yet so he quietly peeked her door open.

Matilda didn't really sleep much again, though she did manage to get a bit of rest and the next morning heard everyone preparing for their day. Soon the door seemed to open a bit and she saw Gavin there, she sits up and looked at him saying: "Good morning... Do you need anything?" She tilted her head and smiled.

Gavin stood there, frozen for a moment. "Oh no, I was just coming to see if you were sleeping." He said and then rubbed his neck a bit, walking into the room. "I'll leave the door open so its okay. How did you sleep?" He asked her and looked at her, leaning in to kiss her.

Matilda looked at Gavin and nodded then watched him come over while she said: "Okay... Didn't sleep a lot so might get some more soon, and yourself?" She kissed him back and smiled happily.

Gavin frowned a little. "Why aren't you sleeping?" He asked her softly and then began to kiss her cheek. He then sat by her and put an arm around her. "You should enjoy that you get to stay at home. My parents are strong on education."

"Well... I think it's only logical that it's hard to sleep within the week or even month your parents died Gavin." She softly replied while she looked at him. She leaned into his touch and nodded her head before she said: "I will try."

Gavin sighed a little and nodded. "Well maybe tonight we could let BittyBoo sleep with you." He said and then started to get up. "Well, I'm going to workout." He said then glanced at her window. "Why is it opened?"

"Okay... That would be nice." She said, quite liking his dog. She then glanced ar the window and said: "I just wanted some fresh air coming into the room... Sorry if it's a problem."

Gavin nodded and walked out. He went to go to his room to change. He came back out and decided to try and spy a little. He knew this was wrong, but he knew something was off. It wasn’t like her to not ask about anything. He had closed her door so he put his ear to it try and listen.

Matilda tilted her head as he left, she sighed softly and stood up from bed before she started getting herself dressed. Soon she heard her phone ring and frowned before picking it up, hearing one of the surviving gang members on the other side say: "Hey... The last few survivors will be meeting up at ten, sorry about your parents, but I think it's best if you come to sit this one in, only a few of us left now." She sighed and said: "I should be free at ten yes... I'll see you all then, still need to get some things from home anyway."

Gavin opened the door and cleared his throat. "Hey, the chef us going to make us some food. Do you like hashbrowns?" He asked then looked at her phone. "Oh sorry didn't know you were on. Who ya talking to?" He asked her, trying not to seem suspicious.

Matilda jumped a bit in surprise when the door opened again, she then said goodbye to the guy on the other side and looked at him while saying: "Yes that would be nice, and it's okay... Just talking to a friend from the neighborhood, probably finding it strange the house is empty, and yeah heard of what had happened." She walked over to him ready for breakfast.

Gavin nodded and smiled before leading her out. He grabbed her amd and gave it a quick little squeeze before he gave her a kiss. "Okay, if that was all." He said and then went to sit down. "Mom said she is gonna take you on a shopping spree today."

Matilda smiled at him then followed him to the kitchen where she sat down. She then frowned a bit looking confused as she said: "A shopping spree? But why?" She wasn't sure why they wanted to take her to the shops.

Gavin laughed a little and looked at her. "Because you need clothes." He said and then began to lick his lips as a plate of food was sat in front of each of them. "Rich life baby." He said, glancing at her. "Now what neighbor was on the phone?"

"I have clothes at home though... I should really go collect my things there perhaps today as well." She said and then looked at the food before she thanked the chef and started eating slowly. "Not a neighbor, just someone from the neighborhood that passes by there from time to time, he was better friends with my parents though." She replied.

Greg smiled and nodded. "When today? If it's sometime after school I could go with you." He said and then said his blessing before he started to eat. "Oh well I've never heard about these people." He said and looked at his clock. "Shoot, I've gotta hurry or I'll be late."

"Oh, I'll probably just go while you are at school, that way I can be ready for this shopping thingy and spending time with you afterwards, so don't worry." She said and smiled at him before she checked the time and nodded, quickly kissing his cheek as she said: "Have fun at school love!"

Gavin nodded and headed off to school. That same number texted her. 'Hey, what happened? Why did you get off the phone?' The man sent and seemed rather annoyed. 'Ten A.M got it?'

'It doesn't matter now, does it? And yeah almost on my way' she just texted back and sighed. Once everyone left for their work or school she left the house and made it off towards the meeting place.

Rover sat in his spot at the meeting place. He smiled as he saw her come up. He went to hug her. "Hey there. I'm so sorry again about your parents." He said and then went to sit back down. "Now what is this about?"

Matilda saw Rover and nodded at him than just said: "Well... Can't do anything about that." She sighed and sits down looking at the five that were there. They were all that was left. "What is this about? Umm, maybe the fact the gang is destroyed... Now, what do we do?" One asked and looked worried.

Rover sighed a little. "So you got adopted? What are you doing here? We can care for ourselves." He said to her and then began to chew on his lip. "You don't even need to go with us anymore."
One frowned and stood up. "She is still one of us. Though she could help us get a little dough from that rich lover of hers."

Matilda looked at him and said: "Yes I did... I don't really know what I am doing here though." By now it was natural instincts and habits that brought her over here. She then frowned as she heard the other talk about taking money from Gavin, she glared at him saying: "No one touches him, I won't be stealing from them either!" She stood up and crossed her arms saying: "Well there are other gangs that would probably take this place over, so either join them or not."

The other guy chuckled. "Oh, I'm guessing you are boning him now. You must want to stay on the good side of his penis." He said and then shook his head. "Look, the other gangs were poorer than we were. We just need money. I bet they won't notice a couple thousand gone."

Matilda growled a bit as she walked up to him and slammed him against the wall saying: "I am not going to take your shit! They have nothing to do with any of this and that will remain that way! There are enough other ways to stay alive out here!" Hissing at him a bit as she glared then let him go and walked off towards ger house saying: "I'm going to my home, you sort out your own damn problems."

He frowned and went to punch her in the face. "Fine! Leave you scared bitch!" He snapped and then went to leave. "I'll find where you live." He said and then went back to his own place.

Gavin smiled and soon got home from school. He was so excited to see his girlfriend after a long and tiring day. Of course everyone was saying she was going to leave him if he didn't screw her. He walked inside and then started to take his stuff to his room. What his girlfriend never saw though was his crying when he always came home to his parents not being home due to work.

Matilda could take a punch though he just pissed her off more, threatening to even find where she lived. He was stupid to think she would live there unarmed not to mention that the house seemed to have security going anyway. She collected some of her clothes and knives then took them back to the house. Even getting her stuffed toy. After getting back she placed them on their spots and then hid away the knives in different places in her room. She also texted Rover saying 'Keep an eye on that bastard please'. After a while, she heard Gavin return from school. She smiled and checked herself in the mirror to make sure there weren't any bruises before she peeked out to see where he might be.

Rover sighed and sent back a text saying that he would. 'Hey, but you and your boyfriend might need to move or run away or something.'

Gavin didn't hear her in the house so he sat on his knees in front of his bed and started crying. This was something he did everyday unless someone was around. It was miserable. He has and had everything he wanted, but his parents home. He looked at his parents picture on his nightstand and cried. "I just want you home more!"

Matilda looked at the text and just replied 'That can't happen, take care of him or I will.' She then heard Gavin crying and got worried. She left her room going to his before she walked over and kneels down next to him, gently placing her arms around him while she softly said: "Gavin, are you okay? Did something bad happen?"

Gavin quickly shut up when he felt the arms around him. He then started to sniffle a bit. "I'm sorry. I never told you." He said and looked at her, tears rolling down his face. "I always come home crying unless you are here. My parents are just always busy and never home so I miss them." He said and wiped his eyes.

Matilda was glad to hear it wasn't too serious, she just held him gently and said: "It's okay, we all get lonely, now you don't need to worry about that anymore because I will be here okay?" She kissed his cheek and helped wipe his tears before she said: "They should be home soon I am guessing."

Gavin nodded and then began hug her. "I love you so much." He said and then began to kiss her. He then sniffled and leaned his head on hers. "I just need to get rid of some stress. Any idea on how to destress?"

"Alright then." She said and sits down again. She listened to his to what he said and then replied: "I had to go pick up my things from the house... And check in with the others in the area to tell them I am okay, and I won't be there anymore type of thing." She rubbed his back as he seemed quite stressed still so she decided to try to distract him just a little. Gently pushing him down on his bed she laid next to him and started kissing him, deepening it more and more as she continued, just caressing his cheek and at times his chest. "Don't be so stressed love." She softly mutters before just sealing their lips again.

Sofia was busy with some work-related things still before she looked at Johnny and realized what he said was true, usually, Gavin would greet them rather quickly. "Probably didn't hear us coming in... Oh yes, shopping! I am going to go get her, you two boys have some fun too okay." She smiles and kissed him before glancing at what he was reading and said: "Found a nice piece?" She started gathering her bags again and saw Matilda coming downstairs.

Gavin nodded and went to get into the shower. He cooled off and then got out, going to put on some clean clothing before getting back to what he needed to get back to do. He walked downstairs and went to his Father. "Hey Dad." He said and then hugged him. "Didn't hear ya come in."

Sofia smiled and looked as she saw Matilda. "Oh you look lovely." She said and grabbed her keys to make her way to the car. "So I've got a surprise for you!" She said as they got in. She then handed her a thousand dollars in cash.

Matilda looked at Sofia and said: "Oh thank you very much, it's nice seeing you back again." She smiled and greeted them. She then tilted her head as she heard she has a surprise, then once at the car she glanced at the money handed to her before he said: "Huh? Why are you giving me this much? I-I only need a shirt at most." She looked at Sofia worried.

Johnny looked at Gavin and said: "Hey, how was school?" He smiled and placed his bible away for now while he stood up and hugged him. He then said: "Your mother thought so, didn't think we were that silent when coming in... But it's good seeing you in such a positive mood."

Sofia frowned a little and gently took her hand. "Oh sweetheart. You get to spend all of that today on whatever you want." She told her and then started to tap her hand. "Di you think we were sending you away?" She asked her slowly. If course they had their own personal driver for going out on the town.

Gavin smiled and gave his Father a pat on the back before going to sit. "It was good. How was work?" He asked and then wondered if he could talk to his Father. "Hey, not saying I have, but did you wait until you were married to Mom before making out with her for the first time?"

"All of it? But it's still too much just for clothes." She said looking worried and then shook her head saying: "No I didn't... Sorry, I'm just really surprised, I don't think I have ever seen this much money before." She scratched the back of her neck.

Johnny looked at Gavin and said: "Work went better today, got the problems sorted and such." He then raised a brow at his question and said: "Making out? Yes, we did... But Gavin it's the thing that does lead to sex the fastest, too much private time, and making out could very well lead you into having sex only due to your own desires taking over so it's something to keep in mind... Being in love is wonderful, but staying strong in what you believe can be affected by it too."

Sofia laughed a little. "Oh Matilda, you can buy more than clothing with it." She told her and then smiled. "We are going to the mall. We can go into each store and if you see something you want or have always wanted. You get it." She told her and then buckled up. "You know, it was quite a surprise that Gavin didn't scurry down to see us like normal."

Gavin nodded his head and sighed. "Okay." Was all he said and then tapped his foot. "Dad, I made out with her. Thats why I didn’t come down. I thought it was fine because it wasn't sex and now I feel guilty." He said and looked away, not ready to hear whatever his father had to say.

Matilda gave a small nod but she didn't plan on spending even half of this, she didn't need clothes in her mind but didn't want to seem too rude either. She looked at her and then said: "Probably because I was with him, he was lonely too and sad, but he is okay now, didn't even realize you were back much." She buckled up and leaned back in her seat.

Johnny looked at his son and raised a brow before he started to laugh a bit and said: "Well I would have never told my father that so you get quite a few points for guts, but if you didn't have sex then it's fine, just be careful is all I am saying."

Sofia nodded and frowned. "He was sad? Did something happen to him at school? He always comes home happy." She said to her softly and then began to worry herself. "He is just always so cheerful."

Gavin blushed and rubbed the back of his neck. "Well I mean you are my father and I want you to trust me. So I told you." He said and then cleared his throat. "So wanna go hang out and do something? Its been a while."

"Oh no he just missed you and Johnny because you weren't home, he was just lonely." Matilda said and smiled a but then said: "But yes he is usually very cheerful so that eas surprising to me as well."

"I trust you, you are a good person." Gavin said and smiled then nodded and got his keys saying: "Let's go hang out then, we probably have the rest of the day to do so, you know your mother in the mall is quite a long wait."

Sofia smiled and nodded before seeing they made it to the mall. "Come dear. We have lots of shopping to do." She said happily and got out of the car. "Now name one thing you have always wanted."

Gavin grinned and put his shoes on to go with him. "So where do you want to go?" He asked him and started to walk with him to his car. "There is so much to do."

Matilda looked at Sofia and followed her out towards the mall as she said: "One thing I have always wanted? I know I have always wanted socks that have kitty paws on the bottom, they looked cute... Oh and a keychain of a dog looking like Bittyboo for Gavin's birthday." That was probably a strange answer with all the much more expensive things around but it was the truth, she never desired more than that. "I probably also need some summer dresses if we are talking more clothes-wise, I never had a lot of dresses." She added.

"We can go anywhere you want, park, theme park, zoo, you name it." Johnny said and smiled at him then got into the car and started it, he could get a driver but this was his own personal sports car so he preferred driving it himself."

Sofia smiled and listened to her as they walked in. "Well then we can get you that stuff sweetie." She said and started to walk into her first store. "Okay, would you like to vencher on your own or would you like me to come with?" She asked her softly and then started to think about what she could buy.

Gavin sighed and started to think. In all honesty, he wanted to go to a water park, but he knew that none of them were open. He looked at his father and smiled. "Maybe to a zoo?" He asked slowly and then started to buckle up. "Dad, I'm really glad that I'm your kid."

Matilda looked at her and nodded, it felt strange being told she could have those things, they weren't that cheap were they? Then again having money around wasn't really something she was used to, those she needed to survive sure and she was even using her mother's old second-hand phone to get by. Sofia and her family on the other hand seemed to give out money as if it rained from the sky, it was strange but their way of life. "I don't mind, could probably look around with you a bit then see if I find other things on my own." She said not sure what to do.

"Alright let's go to one then." Gavin said and drove off towards the nearest zoo. He smiled and said: "And I am glad you are my son, I couldn't have asked for anyone better."

Sofia nodded and started to walk around the store. "If you see anything you want. Grab it." She told her and then started to look at some pretty shoes. "So my husband wants us to get married again and I need to find the perfect shoes to go with my old wedding dress." She told her.

Gavin smiled and looked put his window. "So, what building project ya got? House, apartment, hotel, etcetera?" He asked and then grabbed out his phone. It was strange for it to be just the two of them, as they never rally hung out.

"Currently we are working on building an Aquarium actually, well just the fundamentals of it, there is also a hotel project going on but that one is nearly finished." Johnny replied and then parked the car once they reached the zoo. He got out and said: "It's not a very big one, but they want complicated areas to build, though should be a beautiful finish."

"Married again?" Matilda asked her confused, why would someone get married twice to the same person without even having gone through a divorce or such. She started looking through the socks, just wanting to find a pair of kitty feet socks.

Gavin nodded and got out too. "Well that seems like a lot of work. But hey, you do make a lot of money doing that." He said and started to walk in with him. "I'm so excited to see the bears. They have always been my favorite."

Sofia nodded and came over to help her look through the socks. "Yes, we move each other so much and he wanted to marry me again on our next anniversary." She said and held up a pair of kitty feet socks. "Want these?" She asked her kindly.

"Yes it's quite a task, a few-year project pretty much but we have a few of those going so business is good if no one screws up, which is my job, making sure they don't." He said and laughed a bit then smiled and bought them tickets before he said: "Yes bears are also my favorite, so large and strong yet also seen a cuddly your mother would say."

"I never heard of that before." Matilda said looking surprised and soon saw her holding out the kitty paw socks making her smile as she nodded and said: "Yes please... They are very cute."

Gavin chuckled and started to walk through the zoo. "Okay, do you think you could get us a baby bear? We could train it together. Like maybe a Red Panda? They are smaller than Bittyboo." He tried to talk him into it, knowing he could probably try to convince his Father.

Sofia nodded and smiled before she started to put them in her cart. "At this mall, we check out everything at the very end of our mall shopping trip." She said excitedly then grabbed some shoes. "These are cute." She said happily. She then decided to ask her something. "So tell me more about you."

Johnny laughed a bit and said: "I wouldn't mind that but such things are illegal, even for a red panda as they are endangered, but we could buy a bear at the zoo and you get to name him and visit him here." He looked at Gavin with a smile.

Matilda followed her and looked at the shoes then nodded and said: "They are yes." She started looking through a few cute summer dresses and soon said: "More about me? Hmm... I collect knives."

Gavin smiled and nodded his head eagerly. "Do you think they would have a baby bear. Like one that I could hold and name and visit?" He asked with hope as he started to walk to where the bears were. "Dad, this is going to be so amazing!" He said excitedly.

Sofia nodded her head and smiled. "Oh knives huh?" She asked slowly. She herself wasn't a fan of knives. Though she forced a smile. "So how did you get into knifes?" She asked her and then glanced at some fall dresses.

"I don't know we will have to see and ask." He told him and chuckled softly before he looked at the other animals they passed. "Well, we could also get you a bear toy from the shop as a souvenir on the way out." He added and smiled, glad to see Gavin this happy.

Matilda nodded and just looked at a turquoise dress before she looked back at Sofia saying: "I don't really know why maybe because it was my first ever Christmas gift... Gifts are usually only a birthday thing if there was money to spare, but one Christmas my dad gave me a pocket knife... It is very useful to use when opening some animal food to feed the strays in the area at home."

Gavin nodded his head and smiled. "Yeah, that would be very great!" He said with excitement then started to look as the approached the bear habitat. He looked on the sign. "Look, a new bear baby is here and is up for adoption!" He said and smiled as a zoo keeper came up. "Miss, id luke to adopt the baby bear please?"

Sofia smiled and picked out a dress with leaves on it. "Isn't this dress so pretty?" She asked as she listened to her. "Well, your parents sound amazing." She said and then glanced in the basket. "Honey, all you have is socks?"

Johnny smiled as he saw the sign and then said: "Well then seems like you do get to adopt a baby bear, usually though it does mean it needs to stay here since it's still a wild animal." He watched the zookeeper nod and get some papers they had to sign, basically, it was just to help them feed the baby bear and Gavin got to name him too.

"It's very pretty yes." Matilda said and smiled then she nodded and said: "Mhm they were." She then looked at her basket and the socks before she said: "Yes... But that was what I wanted."

Gavin smiled and started to fill out the paperwork and named his baby, Koda. "Miss, is it okay if I meet and hold Koda?" He asked her then smiled as he looked at the picture of him in the booklet. "Dad, look at how small he is." He said and showed him the picture.

Sofia nodded her head and sighed a little. "We can go home if you don't want to be here." She told her softly and rubbed her cheek.

"You can meet him yes though I am afraid holding him with not sit very well with his mother." She replied and showed them where to go so that they can meet the little bear. Johnny smiled and said: "Yes he is still very small, let's go meet him."

"No it's okay, I don't mind being here for longer, plus you might need some more things right?" She said and smiled at her then bought the socks before glancing at the other shops available. "And I should get some dresses."

Gavin smiled and then went over. He then looked as he saw the little cub laying right by the glass of the exhibit asleep. He smiled and looked at him. "Hey Koda." He said and then looked at his Father. "Can you take a picture of me by the glass with him?"

Sofia looked in her basket and then chewed her lip. "Yeah, its okay if we go and look at the dresses." She said and then started to yawn a little. "So did Gavin say he was sad because he missed us?"

Johnny smiled and nodded as he got his phone and said: "Go ahead I'll take the picture. He took a few pictures of the two and watched the mother also joining the picture by sitting down next to the sleeping baby and watching them.

"Okay." She said and smiled the. Started making her way to the next shop where she started looking at summer dresses. "Yes, he said that... I asked him." She replied and looked at Sofia and said: "Though I didn't expect that, I thought he was hurt at school so it came as a surprise to me."

Gavin smiled and then looked as the Mom came over. He looked at her and waved. "Hey there Momma. I'm gonna help feed your baby." He said and then looked at his Father. "Thank you so much again Dad." He said to him and went to hug him. "You are the best."

Sofia studied Matilda's features and snapped her finger. "I bet you'd look beautiful in a strapless dress." She said and went to help her look for some. "Oh. Like this light blue color. Do you like this?"

Johnny smiled and said: "Anything to make you happy my boy." He watched the bears and then his son before the zookeeper said: "We will be feeding the mother bear soon, would you like to help with that?"

Matilda smiled and said: "Really?" She never really tried dresses much before. Soon she looked at the blue one and said: "Yes, it is beautiful!"

Gavin nodded his head eagerly. "Yes ma'am." He said and then began to follow her. "So will I get to feed by bear too when he gets older?" He asked her happily.

Sofia smiled and handed her the dress. "Well let's get going to the fitting room for you to try this on then!" She said with extreme excitement.

"Yes, you can if you come and visit during their feeding time." She said and got a bucket of meat that he could throw use to thrown into the feeding bin.

Matilda smiled, glad to see her getting this excited, and nodded before going to the changing room and getting dressed. She came back out and said: "How is this?"

Gavin smiled and then began to do as he was told to do for feeding. He then smiled and looked at his Father. "Okay, now what other animals do you want to see?" He asked him, letting him pick.

Sofia smiled and got put her phone to take a picture of her in it. "You look stunning." She said and showed her the picture. "You are so very beautiful in that."

"The meerkats." His father replied and smiled as he looked at Gavin. "They are quite cute to see as well, just standing there baking in the sun." He added before chuckling softly.

Matilda looks at the picture and blushed a bit then said: "Thank you... It does look really pretty." She smiled a bit more then went back in to change back.

Gavin chuckled too and snapped his finger. "Are they the um thing off of the LionKing? What is it, um Tomone?" He asked, betting thats what it was. Now he could have waited to see for himself. "Hey, please send me a picture of me and my baby. I want to show Matilda over text."

Sofia smiled and nodded her head. Once she came out, she looked at the time. "Hey, you got anything else you wanna look at quickly? I've gotta get home today to do paperwork."

"Yes, Timon, he was always with Pumba." He replied and smiled at Gavin before he sends the picture over to Gavin while he said: "There you go, I am sure she will like the baby bear quite a lot." He was quite happy spending some time with his son like this.

"No, I have nothing else besides the keychain." Matilda said and then took the dress to buy it, before checking a close by store for a small keychain of a German Shepherd for Gavin. Once she got everything she handed the rest of the money back to Sofia. "Thank you." She softly said.

Gavin smiled and texted the picture to Matilda. 'Dad bought me a bear cub. XD' He sent and then started to look at the little creatures. "Wow, they are so cute." He said and laughed as one scurried across the exhibit.

Sofia shook her head and handed her the money. "No, for you." She said and started to head back to the car. "Well maybe as you grow with us you'll want to buy more." She said and started to load the car.

Matilda looked at Sofia surprised and then followed her to the car. Sitting down after loading her things before she said: "Thank you, it was fun today." Something quite new for her but she liked hanging out with Sofia. She checked her phone and saw the text and then smiled before she texted back 'Cute!' Surprised his father would buy a bear cub, she didn't even doubt that it was expensive.

"They are yes, but I heard they can have quite a nasty temper if you aren't part of their little pack." He said and laughs then said: "I wonder if your mother bought the entire shop already."

Sofia smiled happily at hearing she had fun. "I had a great time too! I'm always so excited to get to see others being happy." She said and then got the driver to start driving. "I hope the boys are actually hanging out."

Gavin smiled and looked as one came over to the glass to get a closer look at him. "I bet you she has bought at least two of everything. Though I do think my bear cost way more than two of everything in the shop."

Matilda nodded before she got the picture on her phone of the bear cub and showed it to Sofia saying: "They are... He got a bear too." She leans back in her seat then said: "I didn't think a zoo would sell animals to random people though."

"True, your mother is working in modeling and fashion for a reason, her love for clothes can be quite crazy at times." Gavin said and chuckled then just moved on to the other animals around while he said: "She would spend hours at shops too."

Sofia shook her head. "Why a bear cub though? We can't have that thing in our yard." She said and durable out her phone to text Johnny. 'Hes not keeping that. Go get your money back.' She then shook her head. "I can't believe he thought that would be a good gift."

Gain chuckled and followed him before looking as they came across the elephant. "Wow, it would be so cool to ride one."

"I don't know." Matilda said and shrugged then just sighed a bit before she said: "Well they seem to be having fun together at least so I don't think we need to worry too much."

Johnny saw the text and just chuckled as he replied 'Don't worry it's not coming home, just staying here in the zoo for him to visit.' He then looked at Gavin and said: "I heard there are certain places overseas where you can ride elephants, could book a trip when we go on vacation."

Sofia nodded and smiled. "So did you have a job when you were living with your parents?" She asked her, obviously going to convince her to quit her job. She then looked at the message and send a thumbs up.

Gavin smiled and eagerly nodded his head. "Yeah, that would be amazing!" He said and then looked at his phone. "Dad, how did you meet Mom?"

"Well I would help them from time to time but they always said my studies were more important." She replied looking at Sofia then said: "But I can work again, it might help pay for my stay here then."

"It would be." He said and then started to smile as he said: "I met her at a camp, we spend that entire camp practically together and after that, I just knew I would marry her."

Sofia shook her head. "No, you are wealthy now. And if you are to be family soon, then Gavin can support you just fine." She said to her and then let out a yawn. "What would you like for our chef to cook for supper?"

Gavin nodded and smiled a little. "Hey Dad, I think I'm ready to head out and go home. I'm ready to spend some time with my girl." He told him politely.

"Yes, but I would like to help a bit." She said looking at her, she didn't like sitting still all day, perhaps helping around the gang a bit might help, then again they got destroyed, though certain problems might still be around. "I don't mind... Anything you all want to eat is fine with me." She said.

"Alright then let's get back." He said and smiled then started leaving the zoo towards the car. Ready to drive them back while he said: "This was nice, we should do this more."

Sofia soon got out of the car. She looked at her phone and shook her head. "Another bank robbed by a local gang. I wish the cops could just catch these guys." She said and started to unload the car.

Gavin nodded and smiled a little. "Yeah we should. I'm glad we came." He said and then started to get into the car. "So what was your favorite part of the evening?"

Matilda heard her mention a gang and checked her frown before she said: "Strange... The ones in this area got scattered, seems like some others already came to take over." She sighed a bit.

"Spending time with you of course, and seeing the bears." He said and started giving them back home. After a bit he noticed the other car back and said: "Your mother actually got here before us, that is unusual when she went to the shops." He laughed a bit.

Sofia frowned and nodded her head. "Yeah, I heard about that. Apparently tons of them died a few days ago in a building fire." She said and then started to walk inside.

Gavin nodded and got out before seeing Matilda. He walked over to her and smiled, placing his arms around her. "Hey there sweet baby." He said and gave her shoulder a kiss. "Have fun with my mother?"

Matilda went silent, how did the news hear that the gang members were in that fire? Usually, they were low-profiled and when she saw the news it was just said to be an accident involving normal people. "Forty... There were forty of them." That was all she said as she went inside and up to her room to put the clothes away, but stopped as Gavin came over. She hugged him back and then said: "Yes I had fun today, and you?"

Gavin nodded his head and smiled. "Yeah I did. I got a baby bear." He said and then started to rub her arm. "So what did you get?" He asked her softly. He then started to think about her and their special moment. "My parents are supposed to be going out tonight. We could amakeout again." He said to her, but what he didn't know yet was that it would lead to some pretty big secrets of hers.

Matilda smiled as she looked at him and said: "Yea I saw...I got socks and a dress and a keychain for you." She then blushed a little at his words and said: "Alright, we can do that then... How long will they be out?"

Gavin smiled and heard his parents yell that they would be out. "Okay!" He said and then looked at her. "We have an hour once they leave the driveway." He whispered to her and then beamed. "Baby, you didn’t have to get me anything." He said to her happily.

Matilda heard them leaving and then looked at Gavin and said: "But I wanted to, your birthday is soon too." She got the keychain and gave it to him then said: "It's nothing big, but now you don't have to be lonely this week if going to school without me." She smiled and gave him a quick kiss.

Gavin looked at the Keychain and nodded before pulling her into a hug. "Thank you so much. I love you." He said then looked into her eyes before giving her a kiss. "How about we move to the couch?" He asked her slowly and gave her a deep kiss.

Matilda smiled and said: "I am glad you like it, I love you too." She kissed him back then nodded and went to the couch where she sat down and pulled him closer. Kissing him deeply.

Gavin blushed and started to kiss her deeply. He was truly happy at this point. He looked at her and slowly started to lay her back on the couch. He started to slowly move onto her and continued to kiss her. "I love you. I'll always love you." He whispered to her then started to slowly kiss her.

Gavin kissed her back and pressed his hands softly onto her hips. He shoved his tounge back into her mouth and continued to makeout with her. After a moment he pulled back and pulled her onto him. Matilda looked down and noticed the bruise and frowned, she sits up a bit and said: "Huh... I'm not really sure, can't remember anything hitting my side." She looked at it then tried to remember if she fell earlier after being punched, by she didn't as far as she remembered, or was that the punch? No, he punched her face. She scratched her head and then just shook it before she pulled him back down onto her and said: "It's fine it doesn't hurt, need more." She tightened her hold around his waist and kissed him once more.

Gavin nodded his head and then continued to kiss her before he started to move his kisses down her neck and stopped to look at her bra. He gulped and looked at her as last filled his eyes. Though the moment got broken when her phone suddenly rang, she frowned and sits up a bit before taking it and seeing the caller was one of the gang members. Weird they never called her. Gavin looked at wr and gasped as he was pushed down. He then chuckled and started to rub her breast through her bra. Though after a moment he frowned and sat up. "Baby, everything okay?" He asked her slowly and tried to reach out to grab her phone. "Who is on the phone?"

Matilda looked at Gavin then softly said: "I'm coming over... Give me thirty minutes." She then saw Gavin take the phone but the man on the other side had disconnected the call. She got up and got her shorts back on before she said: "Gavin... I need to go somewhere right now, I need you to stay here and stay safe okay." She looked at him then kissed his cheek as she said: "I love you." She started making her way to the door.

Gavin got up and looked at her before following her. "No. I'm tired of this." He said to her and looked her dead in the eyes. "I'm tired of dating this mysterious girl. My family has taken you in and I want answers right now or we are DONE!" He snapped at her.

Matilda came to a stop and looked at him, surprised he snapped like that, he usually never does. She sighed, she knew telling him the truth would probably end their relationship too, but at this point, both ways are going to cause the same results. "Fine, you want to know what I am keeping you safe from then? That building my parents died in, that was a gang house, that is how they made a living and now some other gang came over because most of the ones my parents were in died, they are threatening to kill the last few if I don't show up... There you go, Gavin." She said and sighed before she walked on and said: "Just stay safe, I don't want you involved with this... So if we are done then I accept that I won't even return here, it was stupid of me to think I can have a normal life... Now stay." She opened the door and glanced back at him.

Gavin looked at her and listened to what she had to say. After he was told, he was shocked. Taking literally a few seconds to take it in, he pulled her back in and closed the door. "Thank you for telling me." He whispered then pressed her back to the door, slowly kissing her neck. "Then why not stay and have a normal life? Who cares if they die. You have me."

Matilda was surprised by his actions, he seemed to have taken it rather well too. She wrapped her arms around his neck as he kissed her neck while listening to his words which caused her to sigh softly. "I care, there is one of them there that helped raised me pretty much, I can't just turn my back on him, if it was just the others then I have no problem leaving them but if they have Razor then I can't just abandon him to die." She said softly and looked at him. "I need to help them or I won't be able to live with myself."

Gavin looked at her and sighed a little. He then pulled her into a quick hug before letting her go. "I'm coming with you." He whispered to her and then grabbed his shoes as fast as he could. "I can help you." He told her and then looked at her with begging eyes. "Please, let me help you."

Matilda looked at Gavin worried as he wanted to join her, she shook her head and said: "Gavin, it's way too dangerous, I can't get you involved with this." She hugged him tightly as she said: "I can't lose you too."

Gavin sighed and looked at her. "Why can't you just trust me?" He asked her softly and then started to shake his head. "I just really want you to trust me." He whispered and hugged her back. "And I can't lose you either. If I can't go, then you aren't going."

Matilda looks at him and said: "Okay... Fine, but you listen to every word I say, got that? And you can't be seen, otherwise, you get involved and anyone getting involved has a hard time getting out... Stay close." She kissed him then started leaving the house.

Gavin nodded and looked at her. "We can take my car so we don’t have to walk." He told her and then started to chew on his lip. "Now how do you plan to fight off a grown man?"

Matilda nodded and got into his car then told him where to drive too, a nice secret spot where they won't be spotted. She then said: "Huh? Oh I can already fight off two even if I must, that same guy we are rescuing is the one who made sure I knew how to defend myself, it's where I realized I am quite a good shot."

Gavin nodded and sighed. "And what are we supposed to do with him once we get him?" He asked her softly, glancing outside his window. "My parents are going to kill us if we don't come home before too dark."

"I don't know, just make sure he can get out of there safely... I can't do much after that." She said and looked at Gavin with a small sigh. Once they came to a stop she got out and started slowly moving in the direction of an old broken-down-looking building.

Gavin slowly started to move to where she was. Of course keeping a distance so that way she wouldn't see him. He had to see for himself.

The guy on the phone, named Landon chuckled when he saw Matilda emerge. "Hello. I thought I was going to have to kill Razor here." He said with a slight chuckle and then walked to Razor with a knife. "Where have you been hiding?" He asked Matilda.

Matilda looked at the man after she entered in, seeing the small group tied up and rounded up. She looked at Razor for a moment to try and see if he was okay before she looked back at the man saying: "I haven't been hiding, I am not a part of this gang so why even call me?"

He chuckled and then smiled. "I heard from one of your old members that you have a rich boy toy now. You abandoned them for him." He said and chuckled a little. "Now, you get to choose between the two. Your second Daddy or your Boy toy. I know where he lives and he is to die if you choose Razor here." He said and then looked at Razor. "Of course Razor can't protest."

Matilda narrowed her eyes then said: "You come into this territory with your little, 'oh watch we can rob a bank' group then threaten me? For what? You have nothing to gain... And I won't take shit from a hot head either." She then suddenly kicked at his head, taking out her own small knife to stab into his leg as she said: "Perhaps don't walk around like you have balls when you can't even handle a child."

He growled in pain and then heard a noise. Of course it was Gavin. He snapped his finger and have a few of his men bring him out. "This shall be exciting." He said with a small laugh. "This would be your time to choose." He said and pulled out a gun. "Who will it be?"

Matilda growled as they found Gavin then said: "Damn Gavin! I told you to stay out of sight." She looked back at the man who now had a gun, plus there was more of them around too. She glanced at Razor trying to see if he had an idea.

Gavin frowned and looked at her. "I just had to see if you were okay." He whispered to her and looked away. He then saw the gun and gulped a bit.

Razor looked to them and then sighed. "He just wants money. After everyone found out you were with a rich guy. They've wanted money. I did all I could."

The man cocked his gun and chuckled. "Now, I can either shoot both of them to death, or you can agree to do some bank robbing for me. You and your little boy toy to be exact."

Matilda sighed at Gavin then watched the man with his gun carefully as she said: "Rob a bank? With just two people? That would never work even with the world's greatest thief, those places are packed with cameras and police especially after the stunt you and your men pulled!"

The man nodded his head and smiled. "Its either that or we rob his place." Gavin sighed and spoke up. "I'll do any other jobs for you but that. I can even give you some of my allowance every month as long as you let us go and let Razor go. I'll be your puppet."

Matilda groaned as Gavin continued speaking. She looked at the man and said: "What do you even think you are going to get at his place? They are insured anyway so it's not like you win anything, honestly, how did you even start a gang with that stupid head... Fine, you want me to pick? Well, obviously I am picking Gavin here, but I am really pissed off at your attitude thinking you can boss me around." She walked closer to him rather fast knowing he won't be able to shoot if he thinks she is the one attacking him now.

The man frowned and watched her. "Look, I'm not afraid to shoot you princess." He said and pointed the gun straight at her. His problem was that he was full of empty threats.

Gain frowned a little and looked to Matilda. "Look, I just want you to trust me. Let me give them the money. I know you love Razor too." He said and then tried to get out of the grip of the men. That caused one of them to kick him right in the groin. Gavin gasped in pain and tried his best not to curse.

Matilda smirked a bit, she got him right where she wanted. She knew Gavin was definitely not used to this type of thing and started acting a bit rational. She then said: "Gavin dear, just sit still, these fools are all bark and no bite, I already see that empty threat floating around." Once she was close enough she suddenly grabbed the gun and twisted his arm, kicking him in the stomach before she pressed it against his head and looked at his men saying: "So go on ahead, untie them or he goes first, oh and my threats aren't empty so get going!"

The men nodded and slowly went to untie them. "Okay, now what?" They asked. Of course one acted brave and walked back to Gavin and kicked him in the stomach. "Let our leader go or I kill him." He threatened and then watched her carefully. "I already kicked him in his groin."

Matilda watched them get untied and then saw the man kicking Gavin, so she kicked the leader through his face then turned the gun to the man, shooting him in his leg before he said: "Want to try that again bastard?" She looked at Razor and said: "So can you deal with this or do I need to?"

Razor looked at her and nodded his head. "I got it from here. Go be with your boyfriend." He said and gave her a side hug. "Be safe." He said and then took the gun from her before he started to shoot at them.

Gavin laid on the ground coughing a little before he started to hold his stomach. "That fricken hurts!" He said and tried to get up.

Matilda nodded and gave him the gun then just looked at the man saying: "Don't ever threaten my family again!" She then hurried over to Gavin as her tough person role just cuts off and she looked at him worried. She helped him up and said: "Should we go get it checked?" Hugging him tightly as she said: "Don't do that ever again! You scared me!"

Gavin looked at her and nodded his head. "Yeah, not like I just got kicked in the groin." He said and then started to walk after she hugged him. "Man, that was not a very good feeling at all. It quite hurt actually." He said and shook his head. "No more of this kinda stuff. You need to stay safe with me."

Matilda looked at Gavin with a sigh, she walked him back to the car and said: "I know I know... It's not a good feeling you are right, honestly, you need some self-defense classes too, I don't want to worry about you again like I did today, damn they nearly got me there." She sits him down and said: "Okay, hospital or home?" She gave a nod and said: "Don't worry, I doubt anyone would come popping up again, Razor should have it under control now."

Gavin gasped a bit and slowly got into the passenger seat of the car. "Home. I need to look at it and maybe you could put a bag of ice on it." He said and then closed his eyes. "And could you please watch your language?" He asked her and closed his eyes tightly.

Matilda started driving them back to his house while she said: "Yeah, let's get some ice on there." She soon looked at him confused as she said: "My language? I ain't remember saying anything that bad." She tilted her head wondering what he meant.

Gavin frowned and looked at her. "Your cussing! Stop." He said and then tried to unbutton his pants to give himself more room. "What are we gonna tell my parents?"

"Damn isn't that bad of a word." Matilda said looking at him with a frown then she sighed and leaned back as she said: "I don't know... It's not dark yet, perhaps they aren't home yet and we can slip in and if they are we just said I had to pick up something from my old home."

Gain looked at her and then looked into his boxers. "Ow, its swollen." He said and then started to laugh. "I can bearly walk! My groin hurts!" He told her and then sighed a little. "Never thought the first time you would see it would be to put ice on it."

Matilda looked at Gavin worried as he said it was swollen. "That doesn't sound the best... Oh, this is going to be impossible to hide." She came to a stop then got out and glanced around before she said: "Okay they aren't here yet, let's hurry!" She helped him out of the car and to his room. "Don't worry I won't look, I'll just get the ice."

Gavin nodded his head and tried to strip to his bottom half but couldn't do it on his own. "Holy Hell." He moaned in pain and gasped a little. "Matilda! I need your help!" He said and whimpered in pain.

Matilda grabbed some ice and placed it in a bag then heard him and rushed up. She looked at him worried and said: "Just sit down, I'll help you!" She handed him the ice then got out her knife quickly cleaning it before she said: "I'll cut it open."

He nodded and then started to huff a bit. "Just don't cut it." He said and then closed his eyes. "Hurry, I have to cover up before my parents get home!" He said to her.

Matilda started cutting the pants and underwear carefully then helped him get out of it before she said: "Alright I'll get you some other pants quickly!" She started searching his drawers for pants and said: "Just get the ice on there!"

Gavin nodded and quickly put ince on it before gasping. "Thats cold." He said and closed his eyes tightly. "Hurry up will ya!" He snapped and then put a pillow on top of him. "Why didn't I just listen to you!"

Matilda grabbed some new underwear and loose-fitting pants and rushed back as she said: "Calm down I don't know where the things are." She handed it over to him then said: "Yeah why didn't you just listen!" She sighed and then took his cut-up pants and started rushing to her room. Getting some needle and thread from her bag and quickly fixing it up. "Put the ice on the outside of your pants, that way you won't freeze it off."

Gavin did just that and then closed his eyes. After a few moments he sighed and started to calm down. "Maybe if you had just told me sooner, none of this would have happened." He said to her and then shook his head. "I think I'm going to have to tell my parents."

Matilda groaned and said: "Yeah because if I told you sooner you would have been smart enough to just avoid me completely." She sighed and said: "Tell them what even? That your girlfriend is involved with a gang, that her parents are criminals and she knows how to kill a person? I might as well start packing my bags."

Gavin frowned a little. "What on earth! I meant telling them that I fell and hit my groin!" He snapped off at her and shook his head. "Now, I think that we should help your other gang members." He said and then shifted a little. "Are you hurt at all?"

Matilda sighed and sat down as she buried her face into her hands and said: "I don't know... I'm just overreacting now." She took a few deep breaths then said: "Help them? With what even?" She looked over at Gavin before she shook her head saying: "I don't think so."

Gavin frowned a little and pulled her to him. "Baby, I'm sorry." He said and then began to hug her. "Honey, I want to help your old gang members get into better lives."

Matilda looked at him than just rested her face on his chest as she started sniffing, lightly trembling as she held onto his shirt slightly. "H-How will we even do that... Old habits die a lot harder than most people think." She said softly and hugged him as she said: "I was so scared."

Gavin nodded his head and then rubbed her back. "I know you were. I was scared too." He said and then looked at her. "Maybe I could shop for them so they don't have to worry about anything anymore."

Matilda looked at him and nodded as she said: "Yeah, but you aren't used to a world like that so being scared is more natural, me being scared was when they brought you in and I had to still figure out if that guy was for real or just talking big, things could have gone horribly wrong if I misjudged his character." She shivered a bit then shook her head as she said: "That will just make them lazy, they will start drinking you like a leach, you have to keep in mind, they are criminals, even if a few didn't choose to be they grew up that way."

Gavin nodded his head and sighed. "Well, maybe we can talk to them and teach them that I'm not their puppet, but I am willing to help." He said and looked at her. His cheeks turned red as his face heated up. "So they aren't back yet and I was thinking...." He paused to think about this for a second. "Since you saw my ya know, maybe I could see yours?"

Matilda looked at him and said: "I don't know, I only trust Razor, the rest, they aren't as good of people so I really can't have you getting involved with them." She scratched the back of her neck and sighed. Soon looking at him surprised before she started to chuckle as she said: "You sound like a kid right now." She kissed his cheek and stood up then said: "But okay then." Getting out of her clothes quickly before she said: "I want to try on the dress anyway so might as well get changed."

Gavin nodded and watched her before he stared at her. "Woah...." He whispered to her. Hd then wished he could stand up to touch her. "So what kind of dress is it?" He asked her softly. He then sighed happily. "You know, you are so beautiful, right?"

Matilda watched his reaction and just smiled a bit as she said: "I'll show you!" She quickly walked back to him to give him a quick kiss then said: "Thank you." She then went picking up her clothes and rushing to her room, where she got her dress and puts it on before coming back while she said: "Tada!" Smiling at him happily.

Gavin smiled and looked at her in the dress. "Wow, you are wow." He said and then shifted a bit as his pain started to subside. "How much did that even cost you?" He asked her slowly and then began to move the ice off of him. "I don't think we will have to say anything to my parents anymore."

Matilda blushed a bit then said: "Thank you." She walked over and sits down next to him then tilted her head as she said: "I didn't really check, I was way too afraid too and your mother was dead set on me spending money... Even though I just wanted the cute kitty socks." She then smiled and said: "Really? So it's better now?"

Gavin nodded his head and decided to get super romantic with her. "Oh you did get some socks?" He asked and then took her hand. "I want you to know that I am saving myself for marriage and I know you know, but I mean really saving myself." He said and blushed. "Like have you ever ya know, touched yourself?" He asked her, hoping she would be honest with him. He then sighed as he heard his parents come inside.

"Yes, I got socks." She then tilted her head as he spoke more about saving himself, she already knew this so wondered why he brought it up so much. Soon followed by an odd question. "Touch myself? I mean it's only logical, kinda hard to clean yourself when you are showering without touching yourself." She decides to joke around with him while she chuckled softly and did a dramatic gasp as she said: "You don't even touch your body when you shower? How do you get soap on yourself!?" She started laughing after that then heard the door and said: "Oh your parents came back."

Gavin frowned at that and shook his head. "Get out. I was trying to be serious. I meant like playing with yourself." He said and tried to turn on his side. "But no, then you have to be like that." He said and shook his head. "Go before my parents come up and I tell them everything."

Matilda frowned at him and said: "I'm only joking with you, Gavin, I mean it's supposed to lighten the mood." She sighed and watched him before he said about telling his parents everything. "Huh... You can't tell me you take jokes that bad." She said looking more confused while she heard his parents talking to each other down stairs.
