Name: Rynn "The Black Hound" of Awean
Age: 72
Gender: Male

Build: Although he is in fact 72 years old because of a particular mishap regarding actually meeting Death himself, Rynn doesn't age. He looks as if he was in his mid-twenties.

His body looks thin and frail, since he goes many days without eating a single calorie on the account that a humble wanderer such as his self is in constant poverty. He is somewhat a few inches shorter than average.

Hair: He has brown bed head hair, since mirror's aren't an option for him he almost never formally fixes it. He'll sometimes wash his hair in a river, and than comb it with his fingers, surprisingly it works to a certain degree.

Eyes: His eyes are green, but turn a bright blue whenever he channels mana.

Distinctive features: He has a scar on his right eye, and all over the rest of his body from battles he has encountered on his weary road.

Clothes: He wears a tattered and dirty dark brown tunic, black pants made from simple peasant fibers, and a torn crimson cloak from way back when he was a noble.

Weapon(s): Sparrow and Butcher
Two artifact daggers that are sheathed on his arms for easy access. They are of black metal with intricate gold designs of battles between angels and demons. They don't seem to have any other power other than to enhance his magic in the way a wand does for a wizard.

"The Spine"
A powerful and evil sword that has the power to drain life from both the opponent and anything in the area. This life is than transferred into the sword's power which gives it more damage. Rynn doesn't usually use this sword for fear of being corrupted by it, so he has it sheathed on his back with protective charms fettered to it. It's also cursed so anyone who touches it except for Rynn will get badly burned.

Abilities

Azure Flames: Rynn's primary offensive attack, where he shoots a burst of bright blue fire from his fingertips, or the tips of his daggers. He can shoot at the ground below his feet in order to have an area of effect, and with extra focus he can manipulate the flames to form a temporary barrier to defend against attacks. (1 turn)

Crimson Lightning: After charging up his mana he is able to fire a powerful crimson lightning bolt at his opponent. Rynn has to focus in order to aim, because if he misses it's his only shot. (Charges for 2 turns, 1 turn to use)

Pickpocket: Decades of starving to near death and being in poverty has given the former noble a talent for thievery. This gives him the ability to stealthily obtain one of the opponents personal items. (1 turn)

Ethereal Skin: Let's him absorb heavy damage, but NOT avoid it. He'll still feel the blunt impact but most of the lethal damage won't affect him. Wears off after about two or three hits, or just one heavy hit.


Other abilities/attributes:
- He will likely flirt with any female opponents.
- Although he is very frail and it is difficult for him to take a hit, he is very quick and nimble enabling him avoid most common melee attacks.

Personality: He is usually easy going and calm. When in conversation he is intelligent and witty, but when ever he is around women who goes crazy. He is by the far the worst lecher you'll ever meet.

When in battle he is strategical and is always thinking up his next move. In his many years he has lived to see many wars, and prefers to stay neutral although he is cold and unforgiving when pulled into battle, (Unless your a woman).

Despite his want to remain neutral during conflicts he does have a certain moral code. He realizes evil as a threat to the lives and well-being of other people, which can usually change depending on the situation.

Background:
He was once a knight belonging to a family of powerful nobles but during a civil war for his country his entire family was annihilated. He was the only survivor, although just barely. Deacon a demon of imp rank saved him and eventually he taught Rynn how to channel mana, which he quickly excelled at.

Rynn has technically died once, long story, and has met Death himself. In this meeting Death places a curse upon Rynn, where although he will never age he must be in constant search and destroy for the ancient artifact "The Spine"

Since his noble roots he has become what is to be called a vagabond, or a rogue to those who don't know about his magic. He has wandered the lands with Deacon at his side searching for a way to destroy "The Spine" for all eternity.

Name: Wade Brandeau
Age: 16, Junior in High School
Gender: Male
Build: Average, but with no muscle mass to speak of, and a little pudge from sitting around eating Ramen Noodles.
Hair: Dark brown bed head. He showers every night despite the popular belief that he's a "dirty hippie"
Eyes: Dark Brown



Clothes: He wears a mixture between hippie and punk fashions. He wears mostly just things he buys at Good Will or at garage sales, since he didn't have a whole lot of cash. He doesn't like to wear shoes, and if he wears anything on his feet at all it's either socks or house shoes.

Weapon(s):
Jude (http://www.mk-guitar.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/05/gibson-advanced-jumbo.jpg)-The guitar has had a long history with past musicians from nearly every decade since the 50's and has now achieved 'perfect tone', and with the right sort of skill it can be used as a powerful weapon.

When he's not playing music or having pre-marital sex he spends his time trying to 'catch em all' on Pokemon Yellow.

Abilities:
The Power of Music: Sends a sonic boom to be sent out from Wade's guitar practically causing the opponent's ears to bleed from the intensity. With talent and skill he is able to manipulate sound waves making them closer together in order to cause blunt damage. (1 turn)

Love is a Weapon: With his beautiful singing voice and harmonious melodies is able to either lull the opponent into a slumber or cause them to be dazed in awe for one whole turn. (1 Turn)

Thunder Bolt! Using his Game Boy to summon Pikachu's powerful electric attack is a good way to cause good area of effect damage. (1 turn)

Wonder Punch! His only melee attack that does very little damage, and is to only be used in last resort. (1 turn)

Other abilities/attributes:
-Females beware - he's a total lady killer.
-He's quite emotional and sensitive to things.

Personality: Extremely passive aggressive and lazy. He is charismatic enough to keep a band of total rejects from killing each other, and charming enough to have a collection of notches in his head board. He is a total wimp though, since he's not particularly strong and is about peace and love as much as possible.

Background: He is sixteen and in high school. He grew up listening to the Beatles and eventually the greatest of the punk acts. During his freshman year he fell head over heels for a girl named Mallory, but eventually they broke up which sent him spiraling into a world of heart ache. That road of depression found an outlet with music when he got his hands around Jude and began playing. Now he is in his Junior year and is the front man to the local rock band The Demolition Boys.

Name: Captain Bartholomew Reybrandt. Call him Cap'n or Bart. Mostly Cap'n
Age: Mid Thirties.
Gender: Male
Build: Average, although being a sailor and all has given them enough muscles to not look completely scrawny.
Hair: He has black un-groomed hair, although it is graying in certain areas.
Eyes: Hazel

His hair long and to his shoulders, obviously not washed in awhile. His most distinct feature is the eye-patch that covers his left eye, even though he had never lost it.

He carries two each with six shots, with his skill he is extremely accurate mid range, although at long range the pellets tend to stray at random.

A regular cutlass used in close quarters.

Arts
Arts are essentially artifacts from a civilization long gone, but still retain the powers they once did. In the wrong hands their powers could be devastating.

Gives him the ability see things normal humans cannot see, including things from other dimensions, or things that are invisible. He can use it to see heat signatures left by someone, or sound waves in a sort of sonar type vision.

This gives him the ability to move objects with his mind, to a certain extent of coarse. He can't for example pick up or move anything with the same mass as anything bigger than a large dog. Bart usually uses this Art to make sure his guns don't jam, and uses to reload two time four time faster than your average man.

Abilities:

Rapid Shot!: He fires twelve shots simultaneously emptying out both his pistols. It will take about three turns for him to reload both of his pistols, two for one.

Cheating: Due to his lack of any moral and/or honor code, it is quite common for him to throw dirt in his opponent's face, or to hit strike them in the genitals.

Other abilities/attributes:
- Natural born leader.
- skilled with the pistol, although he prefers to charge in and shoot with reckless abandon.
-surprisingly his swordsmanship is better when he is drunk.
-Being a sailor for most of his life has given him experience in acrobatics, giving the agility to avoid most obstacles when on the run.

Personality:
He's very chaotic, always being swayed by what he thinks will benefit him the most. He refuses to lift a finger for someone unless he sees a profit in it.

Although he's not without any morals he will however save someone form overwhelming odds under the pretense that
even king's need pawns". The reason for his seemingly lack of morals, and debauchery is because his main objective is to find the Arts which is important and he just doesn't have the time to deal with those sort of things.

He's extremely manipulative of people, as he's obsessed with his objective. While on deck he is most likely singing some obscure tune that only he knows.

Background:
He was born the peaceful island Sandi-Garius but at a young age he stowed away on a merchant ship in order to seek out adventure. It didn't take too long for that adventure to find him, when the merchant ship was waylaid by pirates, and he was captured. The Captain of the pirate vessel warmed up to the boy, and raised him in the ways of being a true pirate.

When Bart was in his twenties, he learned of a great evil that had driven the Drazii race, the people of an advanced ancient civilization, to extinction. He has now taken upon himself to be the sole protector of the human race, he searches for the Arts in order to thwart the evil force.

Name: Thanatos
Age: The exact age is unknown, but thought to be ancient
Gender: technically none, but assumed a male.
Race: Construct

Build: Thanatos (http://gay1989.files.wordpress.com/2009/01/cyborg2.jpg) stands tall, at 9 feet and has hulking shoulders pauldrons for protection. His entire body is made of a mysterious metal that although he's ancient, continues to shimmer without a single sign of rust.

Eyes: One huge eye in the middle of his cold metal head.

Clothes: The only piece of clothing that he actually wears is the large scarlet cape lined with shimmering gold, and adorning the symbol for a country that has long since perished.

Weapon(s): A long halberd-like axe that is actually a literal extension of his arm.

Abilities:
Scan- Thantos has the ability to use his eye in order examine a target for strengths and weaknesses. He than calculates the best coarse of action and than takes advantage of the situation.


Other abilities/attributes:
-His armor is enough to deflect and sometimes even shatter most martial weapons.
-Although rather intelligent he is also a bit naive, so it wouldn't take to much to fool him.
-Thanatos metallic arms carry the strength of ten men, which allows him to deal out massive damage as long as he hits his target.

Personality: He was designed to kill. His name is synonymous with death. Thantos was built millenia ago, but the world is still shown as a blurr to him. Complex concepts such as morals or his place in the universe tend to confuse him due to his more forward thinking. To him things are literal and are just as they appear. In this way his behavior is naive, like a child.

He has learned a measure of restraint, and only kills when provoked. Surprisingly after the final blow, he prays to the old gods for forgiveness which considering he isn't even made from flesh. It is speculated that the prayers were encrypted into his AI.

Background: In an age no one remembers he was built by an advanced civilization. Before this civilization had been annihilated by an alien force, Thanatos was built to be the perfect warrior with the sole purpose of being the guardian of the world. He now forever stands guard, waiting near the last remaining ruins of the ancient civilization.
