The Brotherhood

[John]

The Brotherhood of Mutants was founded by Magneto and its members were his primary allies in his early battles with the X-Men. The original Brotherhood ultimately disbanded, with Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch going on to become members of the Avengers.

In 1981, the Brotherhood of Mutants was revived under the leadership of Mystique while the group's most visible incarnation during the early 1990s was led by Toad. With each additional incarnation, the group abandoned its political ideology and regressed to the status of "hired goons."

With it's ideology abandoned, there was no point to restrict the group' membership to only mutants. And thus, The Brotherhood was formed.

The Brotherhood have their own turf in the Old Arkham Asylum and Arkham City in Gotham. While the regular inmates usually keep to themselves, the supervillains are the ones that make trouble and retreat back to Arkham City where the law has no say.

I got an idea, we could combine LexCorp's R&D resources and Poison Ivy's power of plants to storm Gotham with an army of Evil Treants (Tree People). By growing them in bio-tubes, that begin as seedlings. But when they come into contact with water. Which is abundant in Gotham City. To overwhelm the city, and take it over to turn the city into Ivy's own City of Nature. All we need to do is retrofit some Airships to disperse the seeds over the city. Just add water, and bam! Instant army of tree people to occupy and control the city!

Ooooh... They'd have to be fireproof though, otherwise they'll be walking torches.

Rather then make the tree's weak against fire, we'll make them respond naturally to fire by making them sprout pine-cones that germinate. While under fire, in this way we don't need to worry about them dying under fire. Rather make them overcome fire and germinate more Treants, when they come under fire.

Since she's both an Expert in Botany and has Chlorokinesis I think that could easily be arranged. And you guys seem to forget that I don't have to make them grow under certain conditions, if we manage to rig up the biplanes that spread the seeds around Gotham and then have Ivy fly around above as well she can grow them at will.
