What's your top 10 favorite anime?
So, RPA, what's your top 10 favorite anime? Here's mine.
#10: Blue Dragon - This adaptation of the video game of the same features the art from Akira Toriyama himself. Yes, theguy who created Dragon Ball and designed the characters crom Dragon Quest and Chrono Trigger. That. Same. Guy.
#09: Naruto Shippuden - This anime ate up most of my childhood, by ate up I mean I watch it a lot. Too many fillers btw. Don't forget the movies too.
#08: Konosuba - In short, this ongoing anime is SAO in afterlife. It follows the protagonist in an RPG-like world after he died, hilariously XD (he peed in his pants while he's dead btw. Oops spoilers for ep.1) It's a fun series and fanservice much? Yeah.
#07: Fate/Stay Night: Unlimited Blade Works - Awesome. Just pure awesome. The animation is beautiful and I love the story. Also, fanservice inbound (I hate fanservices btw. The other type. Y'know what I mean right?). It makes you question whether saving the whole world is possible or not. Saber is fuckin' adorable. Period.
#06: Shingeki No Kyojin - A dark fantasy anime started out as a manga series. Imagine a world where we were surrounded by huge walls that protected us from huge gigantic nude people with no sexual organs, and cannibalistic AND all guys? Well, except one. There are also character deaths in this series.
#05: Berserk - Before there was Dark Souls (and Bloodborne), there was Berserk. The protagonist, Guts (or Gattsu according to the manga) is bound of the demon realm by a seal if I recall correctly. For the first episode, you'll see him in pre-Golden Age arc. Its the only episode you'll see him wielding his giant hunk of raw iron. The following episode tells of his origin. Although there were a few changes from the manga such as the exclusion of Puck, Guts' companion.
#04: God Eater - Animated by the same guys who made the Fate series. God Eater follows protagonist, Lenka Utsugi to eradicate the world of Aragami. It has been re-broadcasted several weeks ago on Daisuki.net and a new episode will be up this coming Saturday. It has a unique animation and unique characters too.
#03: Jojo's Bizarre Adventure - The whole series is just muscles and manliness. There are also character deaths and one of them makes me terribly devastated because how he got killed. What makes me surprised why does this manga series recently got an adaptation? I didn't count the OVA because it only covers Stardust Crusaders. Also, expect tons of funny moments XD.
#02: One Punch Man - Aired from last year the first season ended epicly, One Punch Man is an awesome and epic series. Over-the-top fight scenes, funny moments i-it never stops. Where most character's hairs grows longer to signify he got even stronger, the protagonist is bald (eat it long-haired super-strong characters). Just as the title said, he ends every disaster in just one punch. One. Single. Fucking. Punch. And even changed the weather for Pete's sake!
#01: Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - A 64-episode anime masterpiece. I love the story so much. It's compelling and interesting. This second adaptation follows much closely to the manga unlike the original adaptation. The ending is satifying as well. Although I have to go through Hughes' and Nina's death again. Dammit.
