Spoiler: Back Story
[I] Thomas everin, a renowned scientist, has created a new device. Through the studies of the Hoopa’s Rings and aid hundreds of Psychic type pokemon. Along with fellow researchers, the Ring-Watch has been created. Seeking to test its capabilities, Thomas Everin sent researches out to release the product to special individuals. The individuals range anywhere from Rangers, Trainers, Breeders, Holon Researchers, Nurses and Doctors, even spreading into the Warlords and Burst warriors. Pure luck has led the scientists to you, when a strange looking man in a lab coat approaches you handing you an unmarked box, inside is the watch. But before you can turn back to look the man is gone.
These unique watches, allow you to connect directly to your hometown of origin. Instantly transporting you there with a simple command. Additionally, these scientists have set up small nodes in every city allowing you to immediately connect with them upon entering the city. Another feature of the watch has allowed you to connect to a new Ringer when their watch comes online. Giving you a brief description of the person and allowing you to teleport to their given location.
Current story as created by the players:
-S, who is a mysterious person that no one knows anything about, makes someone, or something, drop a ringwatch, which allow the person to teleport to any location they've previously visited, at selected candidates.
-S offers missions that happen at random times during the campaign to either help the community or further the cause of a certain organization.
-S finally offers a big mission, which is to take down a legendary pokemon, to which almost every ringer responds.
-The ringers, who are people that possess ringwatches, realize that criminal organizations within Orre may be behind the attack, as they immediately attack ringers upon seeing them.
-Ringers take down the legendary pokemon, and criminal organizations in Orre are suppressed, for now.
-A carnival is held in Unova, to which multiple ringers respond. Here, the ringers discover that there are other, older (?) ringers that S has planted here.
-The ringers also realize that, at the carnival, there are specific type trainers that S has planted for an unknown reason.
-The carnival is over, and all of the ringers spread out. Luka and Conall talk about Conall and Natalia's intimacy, and possible marriage.
-Tristan saves a scientist, who in turn becomes insane, and tells Tristan that ringers are no longer safe.
-Tristan just barely escapes as the scientist is murdered and criminal organizations almost capture or kill Tristan.
-The ringers become aware that many criminal organizations now have their eye on them.
-The story continues from here.
-Credit to Mfable for the back story.

If you are in a Faction, you can gain a random Pokemon instead. (As determined by the GM.)
Each character chooses one Basic Path.
Spoiler: Basic Paths
Breeder – Breeders are always looking to care for Pokemon in every way possible, and make up a lot of Pokemon oriented professions. Their main skill, however, is breeding Pokemon. As a Breeder, Pokemon eggs in your care hatch twice as fast, and you will always know which Pokemon will hatch from an egg just by studying it for a few minutes. Additionally, you know how to make Pokemon food from ingredients found in the wilderness, and Pokemon you care for will produce offspring even if not in a Daycare Center. Starting Gear: Full Heal (x5) Catching Restrictions: Limited Team Restrictions: Unlimited
Burst Warrior – There is a small village located in a secret place that trains their youth to become Burst Warriors, special individuals that can use Burst Hearts to fuse with the Pokemon inside of them. These unique individuals can use these powers for a great many things, and can fight one another in these forms. However, these forms are prohibited from fighting in Pokemon battles. Using these Bursts and spending time in these forms allows the contained Pokemon to level and evolve like normal, but they never leave the Burst Heart unless it is broken. They are allowed to capture Pokemon in Burst Hearts anywhere, because the Pokemon will live in peace and comfort for as long as it is in the gem. Starting Gear: Burst Heart (x5) Catching Restrictions: Unlimited (Burst Heart)/Prohibited (Others) Team Restrictions: Unlimited (Burst Heart)/Unlimited (Other)
Ferrum Leaguer – You are a trainer that specializes in Ferrum battles, special battles that are best two out of three and fought with a single Pokemon and two others as supports. The Ferrum League is further separated into Green, Blue, Red, and Chroma Leagues, each with their own Ranks. Starting Gear: AR Gear Catchign Restrictions: Unlimited Team Restrictions: Unlimited
Holon Researcher – A small research station in a valley known as Holon created mutations in the Pokemon around it, making them undergo changes that mutate their type. Although the mistake was noticed and corrected, the station did such harm to the Pokemon that the mutation was now natural. By studying a Pokemon for a few minutes, you can determine if the Pokemon is a Delta Species Pokemon, and what type that Pokemon is. Additionally, your starting Pokemon may be a Delta Species Pokemon. (Type is chosen at random by GM. PM me if you get this.) Starting Gear: Pokeball (x5) Catching Restrictions: Unlimited (Holon)/Restricted (Other) Team Restrictions: Unlimited
Rancher – Ranchers are owners of expansive land where they raise and take care of Pokemon, letting them run free in natural environments. Your ranch is always a registered location in your Ring Watch, and any Pokemon you put into the box is transferred to the ranch to run free. Pokemon on the ranch can produce eggs without needing to be in a Daycare. Additionally, your starting Pokemon may be Tauros or Miltank. If you have a Miltank at your ranch, you gain 5 Moomoo Milk each week, per Miltank. Starting Gear: Moomoo Milk (x5) Catching Restrictions: Limited Team Restrictions: Unlimited
Ranger – Pokemon Rangers are dedicated to protecting the wilderness and the Pokemon that live there, stopping poaching and illegal capture wherever it crops up. You have a basic Capture Styler, allowing you to calm and befriend wild Pokemon. As the Ranger performs missions, they may learn Capture Assists and Guardian Signs, but do not start with either. A Pokemon befriended with the Styler may not be brought out of its natural habitat. Starting Gear: Capture Styler Catching Restrictions: Prohibited Team Restrictions: 1 (Captured) and 1 (Befriended)
Trainer – Trainers make up the majority of people in the Pokemon world. They capture, train, and battle Pokemon. They are allowed to participate in most battles, and can challenge Gym Leaders and Elite Four. Starting Gear: Pokedex, Pokeball (x5) Catching Restrictions: Unlimited Team Restrictions: Up to 6
Warlord – Warlords are a specialty of the Ransei region, participating in a unique game of mass combat and stronghold control. Participants attack and defend locations, using a single Pokemon on a large battlefield filled with many Warriors. Instead of befriending Pokemon like in the past, Ransei Warlords now capture Pokemon in Pokeballs and act in a manner similar to Trainers. While they cannot battle Gym Leaders or Elite Four, they are allowed to participate in the Ransei Warlord events. Additionally, each Warlord has a single Warlord Ability. Starting Gear: Pokeball (x5) Catching Restrictions: Unlimited Team Restrictions: Up to 6
Spoiler: Capture and Team Restrictions

Unlimited: You have access to basically anywhere to catch Pokemon, bar places where it would be considered poaching.
Limited: You do not has as much freedom in catching Pokemon, but you can get around this in a few ways. If the need is right, you will sometimes be forgiven, such as when you catch Pokemon is areas where it is illegal but only because of an event such as a threat to the safety of the Pokemon.

Playing the game is rather simple. It functions like your normal Everyday Pokemon Roleplay. You start your Journey as normal, and then greeted by a Professor, the Professor gives you the watch of a lifetime giving you access to teleport to any location unlocked, or to another player in the game. The RP itself, is self-paced. Granted there may be some story line posts by the GM it is completely Character driven. No waiting for a GM to post, or any posting order in its own. Everything falls on the players to create their own story. Group up, or play alone! Post as much as you want in any order you want. There will be times where a GM plot post is pushed out but it will be rare and will be noted as a plot type post.
Rules:
-You may only capture one pokemon a day. (Unless your profile states otherwise)
-You can NEVER catch a legendary unless an event allows it.
-Some Realism is required, while we won’t ask for full on realism seeing a ten year old stopped Team Rocket not once, but Twice. But some is required
-You can not take out Teams in the RP. Example would be, that Team Rocket can not be shut down. As that would take away from the chances a player can choose from.
-Events are not Mandatory events. They are completely player choice.
-We ask Events are completed in the Time Frame permitted
-Pokemon may gain only one level a day. Yes one could possibly level a pokemon more than once a day but given that opportunity one could level a pokemon to 100 in a weeks time and that would be no fun.
-No more then 3 Characters at a time. If you wish to create a 4th, please remove one of the original 3.
-Please keep your character sheet up to date as often as possible including your party and pokemon in box.
-As Determined by GM, Rules may be added or removed at any given time.

Appearance: Donning his bright blue sneakers, complete with black socks, Tristan takes on a hearty appearance of optimism, constantly wearing some sort of blue sweatshirt with blue jeans.
His brownish hair becomes a tad bit scruffy at times, but it doesn't cover his gorgeous blue eyes, set with a cheery face, eyes not set too far, or too close, together, medium length nose, and an ever-confident smile.
Tristan is quite skinny, but not so much in the fact that he doesn't appear to be eating food at all. Upon this, Tristan always wears a white-belt in which he stores his main team.
Also added on is his blue backpack, which Tristan stores all of his items and supplies in.

Appearance:
Persephone wears her hair medium length dark brown, usually in a pony-tail while traveling. She has soft blue eyes, however she seems to always have resting sharp glaring eyes. When speaking they soften or match more to her emotions but this feature has often left her with few friends. She typically wears jeans, a tank top, usually with a vest or jacket over it depending on the situation. She has a large purse and backpack which she travels with usually with Cleffa in the bag sleeping. She generally has a an easy going personality once a plan is set. If things go off the rails she gets frazzled and often times overwhelmed. She has a surprisingly deep motherly instinct hence the situation she is currently in.
Back story ; She usually doesn’t involve herself with pokemon often finding it very hard to make a connection to them. This resulted in her having only very basic knowledge of pokemon. She only started traveling because she found a egg which hatched upon her seeing it. The little thing was adorable and as such she now goes out to learn more about her partner and figure out the best way to raise her until eventually releasing her into the wild.

Next, you can post in this thread and the staff will display your role-play in their signatures.
Also feel free to post in the Roleplay Directory. This is a thread that anyone can view at any time to see roleplays that are currently seeking and accepting members.
Advanced Path(s): Psychic –
You can read the surface thought of others, and can move small things with your mind.
Hiru’s Psychic Ability:
Hiru’s Ability is limited through contact with other pokemon. When Hiru touches another pokemon, he can focus on them and touch their mind. In doing so, this will connect his mind with the pokemon and allow him to speak directly through a mental connection. When this is done, he is unable to move. If his contact is removed from the pokemon, his connection is severed. The pokemon dignifies it’s full right to push Hiru from it’s mind and only show Hiru certain thoughts. The pokemon is under full control of what Hiru may and may not see.
Doctor/Nurse –You have been through enough training to take care of Pokemon in advanced medical ways, and have been granted access to a portable Healing Machine. Additionally, you may identify PokeRus and can examine Pokemon to find other medical related information.
[B]Hiru’s Healing Ability:[B]
While Hiru is in no need of a machine when it comes to healing pokemon, his ability is limited to direct contact. Using his own energy, he can heal up to 30% of their HP and can only use the ability when he is touching, and has full concentration on the pokemon itself. Doing this takes a lot out of Hiru and he can only heal a single pokemon once every three hours.

Hiru Taki was born as a child of the Viridian Forest, from the parental guidance of Kumi Taki (Mother) and Sean Taki (Father), Hiru would grow into a lover of Pokemon. His parents, had been all time pokemon Fans and Breeders. His Father was a absolute great breeder and a part of The Pokemon Fan Club. His mother, was much in the same but knew little of Breeding but was an all time member of the Fan club itself.
Ever since he was young, Hiru had shown a great and deep connection with Pokemon all around him. From the moment he could walk, he was always trying to get closer to the creatures. When he could speak he was found speaking to the pokemon themselves as if they were great friends of his. Often spending time with his mother while his father traveled. He would learn from her the greatness of the Pokemon Fan club, which gave him a great deal of knowledge of the areas around him. He learned most of the national dex numbers and his knowledge broadened more and more with every day.
Soon when Hiru turned six, his travels broadened. Any time his parents weren’t looking, he was off wandering the small town, often being drawn to the forest itself. His parents were always dragging him back home, over and over. When he was eight, he began dragging injured pokemon home. Often it was Weedle, and Caterpie which had been attacked and terrorized by the local Pidgey flock but he tended to drag home whatever he could. When he brought them home, he would do his best to tend to their wounds, as much as an eight year old could do. Which really wasn’t much but he’d do what he could until they were nursed back to health where they could return to their home.
Years would go by as he would continue his daily routine of exploring the outskirts of the forest before finally going deeper, inside the forest, he met a strange looking onion like pokemon. Glorious as one could be to the eye. The pokemon was green and held bright blue mystical eyes. When Hiru spoke to it, the pokemon didn’t respond at first but only touched his hand initiating what he thought was him being knocked unconscious. But it had been his first experience of connecting with a pokemon on a much deeper level. The two talked for a good five minutes as it told him that his power had always been inside and just needed a bit of awakening and it was the time for Awakening. Yet before he could learn more, the strain become to much on his mind and broke the connection. Through the love and care of his pokemon he had gained what the pokemon described as “The Gift of The Viridian Forest.” While Hiru had learned of it in the past from trainers he never fully grasped the concept of it until that day.
The blessing gave Hiru many abilities, as he could heal pokemon low health at a very slow rate and it began as no more then 5% more than what they had. In addition to the healing, he could do as he did with the legendary pokemon and connect their minds together and speak on a telepathic level.
With a touch of the hand, his abilities activate by thought. He can close his eyes and his mind will get whisked away to the mind of the pokemon. Or he can focus his energy to the pokemon and heal them. These abilities gave Hiru the loving touch that he knew he had, and would use it to the best of his abilities. The divine connection that allows him to use his gift is only limited to the touch of his hand, while he learned that other children of the forest could do it without the touch and even had a broader set of abilities. He took what he had and did what he could with it.
As the years would continue, Hiru would practice his ability improving it significantly, now being able to heal up to 30% of a pokemon’s HP and the mental connection improved widely as he could touch their mind and stay as long as he needed to as long as he kept a touch on the pokemon.
Following in his father’s footsteps at the young age of Thirteen. Hiru decided to journey as a pokemon Breeder. Already having knowledge from both of his parents, the knowledge of the pokemon universe through his mother, and the art of breeding from his father, he set off to complete the dream of his father. The parents had given up their adventures soon after Hiru was born and fell short of completing them, but with new pokemon showing up all the time, Hiru was aiming to meet new friends, and complete his own challenge. With a newly hatched Pichu and the mother he set off on his journey.
Hiru’s ability is dimmed down a lot compared to what others can do. He is what they call “A Child of The Viridian Forest” in Pocket Monster Adventures (Pokemon Adventures Manga) And while he might learn other abilities later, he is by no means a master at what his current abilities are. He’s still a child and his excitement gets the best of him a lot of times.
Spoiler: Hiru's Pokemon Personalities!
Pichu (Pi)
Pi is a very shy pokemon. She doesn't like people and often looks to Hiru for confidence. Pi is very afraid of everything around her. Very rarely will she stand tall. The only thing Pi will connect with naturally is another baby type pokemon thinking they would understand.
Pikachu (Chu-Chu)
Chu-Chu is a great motherly figure. As Hiru would take care of Pi, Chu-Chu is set on protecting the two and doing her best to make sure her 'babies' are not hurt. She is often very protective over her child and Hiru and will go out of her way to make sure the two are not harmed.
Unown (Void)
Void is one of the most serious of Hiru's pokemon. He doesn't like people as he sees them as fools of the universe. He will keep quiet in most cases but will defend himself.
Unown (Null)
Null is a very lazy pokemon. It likes to stay in it's ball and doesn't interact much with others. He will likely avoid a battle if he can and will do what he can to keep out of things.
Magikarp (Magi)
Very brave for a pokemon of his......type. Magi sees Hiru as a king and will do his best to defend him and fight everyone off. This can be seen when Hiru attempted to use Sky to battle a Pidgeotto. Magi popped out of the ball to fight for Hiru in an attempt to make his trainer happy for him. Magi wishes to be the best pokemon Hiru has.
Scyther (Sky)
Sky is very defensive of his trainer. He wants to keep Hiru out of trouble and away from things that could cause him harm. He can be seen dragging Hiru out of situations where Hiru may become a handful or might get himself in trouble with.
Mimikyu (Mimi)
Mimi is a loving type. Mimi loves to be in Hiru's grasps and is very timid with others. She doesn't care for other pokemon and has a dislike for Pi, more of a Jelous type of reaction rather then anything else. Mimi also has a great dislike for Pikachu as everyone seems to favor that pokemon over itself.
Haunter ()
Haunter is a jokester. He loves to have fun and enjoys scaring people for the joke of things. If he's not off scaring others, he's doing his best to joke around with Hiru and his pokemon.
Pidgeotto ()
Pidgeotto doesn't like other pokemon. Or anyone really. It hates having it's personal space and doesn't care for others getting close to it. But it has been seen showing some calming personalities towards Hiru.
Vulpix (Pixie)
Pixie is a soft cuddly pokemon but she believes that shes the best in the pokeworld. Quick to take action and quick to attack. Pixie enjoys fighting and aimd to show Hiru that shes the greatest pokemon Hiru has. She also tends to have a rivalry with Magi on being Hirus best pokemon
Will be a background character for me as I'll use him to assist in some situations. Example being helping another player with their story progression.

Back story: Sairento was born into a family filled with thieves. His family was always out to get the best pokemon of someone else. His father was an Elite Rocket grunt known for his captures of trainers pokemon. He was skilled in setting traps along with escaping these traps. Finding pride in his father, he followed him down the same path as a Rocket member. While he wasn't the greatest in the world, he worked with his father until he finally agreed to become a stand alone member of the Team Rocket group. He gained his own outfit, was given his own pokemon from a kid who lived in the once haunted area of Lavender Town, and set off to capture different pokemon in power. His main goal is to find one of each and every type of pokemon and to gather it for Giovanni and send them to Rocket Head Quarters. On his down time, he can be seen writing in a book of his captures and recording each and every possible form of the pokemon. His favorite phrase over all is the meaning of Team Rocket, he repeats it periodically, and will generally speak it out loud when he enters a new town. Unafraid of his status as a Rocket member and will do his best to help Giovanni in taking over the world as well as finding the strongest pokemon.
Alice was born into a family of Pokemon Science. Her and her family were always traveling around the world, calling at least one place in every area home. While she stood fascinated by the older pokemon she followed her parents around for years.
Always wanting to travel on her own, she begged her parents for years and years until finally. They made a stop in the Hoenn region to speak with Professor Birch granting Alice her own Pokedex along with a small Torchic to begin her journey. Her parents then took her out into the wild, and released their own baby pokemon (Wynaut) to teach Alice how to capture pokemon. Spending the entire day trying to learn, she eventually caught the small pokemon and kept it for herself as a gift from her parents. From that point, she set off on her own Journey.
Thank you, everyone, for your character sheets. Feel free to recruit as much as possible.
Arcus, I know that I just kind of appointed you to the Recruiting Leader role, but can I set you on following up with the posts that Scottie made on the first page? Specifically, can you put a post within the thread that will have people put in their signatures the threads that are recruiting? I'd appreciate it.
