How many nanites do you think Iona can control?
Maybe if she could get to its central processor, but I'm not liking her chances.

Scouts have fewer communications channels, so Iona can only control so much in the way of nanites. It's designed to infiltrate, evaluate, and make targeted attacks as necessary, so greater processing power but that's the limit.
If Iona goes after the enemy berserker, at some point it will have to start shedding mass (nanites) to keep itself from slowing down. And this berserker will gobble those back up, making it a wasted effort. You need enough seekers to keep pushing at it in waves to wear it down, taking back what they've collected so that the enemy cannot recover its missing mass.
Iona cannot change its processing core - they can only be manufactured or modified by an Alpha (which keeps them firmly in control) - and there's no Sentinax Alpha with factory unit here.
Drat. So much for our very own personal T-1000.
@Sylent; your post appears to be missing quite a lot of my text. Did you not use the version I sent you in my last PM?
Ditto, with the co-op we did.
Er, sorry...I usually quote what's relevant to my post when quoting others, obviously from my character's perspective...I do see I missed a couple lines by Sayori at the end, not realizing they were there for some reason. Also I type everything in Word, especially with really long posts like this one, if that makes a difference...
Other than Sayori's closing lines, did I miss something?
Usually with a co-op you post the whole text, not just your character's perspective. That way there is only one post and not two covering the same scene from different perspectives.
Okay...I'm obviously not used to doing co-ops much.
Edited/updated...better?
Most of my post is still missing. Do you just want me to post the whole thing?
