He smiled. "Yeah. I guess I'm trying to keep my mind off of the spell and what will happen afterwards if it fails." His smile faded. "I want to hold onto these good memories."

She gently rubbed his back. "We will. Okay? I promise."
He nodded and kissed her cheek. "I'll hold you to it." He whispered.
She stroked his cheek, holding his face close to hers."I love you no matter what."
He nodded and looked her in the eye. "I love you too." He murmured. "No matter what."
She softly kissed him, and then pulled away, taking a deep breath.
He looked at her as he stroked her cheek. "We'll deal with the future when it gets here. Let's just eat and worry about now."
She smiled and nodded. "Yes. Deal. I'll go make some tea."
He nodded. "Okay.Good." he kissed her cheek before letting her go. He watched the rolls bake in the oven. "By the time the tea is done, the rolls should be done too."
"Good," she said, turning up the heat under the kettle. "Is there anything else you'd like to add to our breakfast?"
