The Royal Hall. One of the most prestigious rooms of the palace. There was a grand table in the center of it for their lavish dinners. A giant balcony to view the city, and what a marvelous view it was. Especially at night. The throne sat in the center of the biggest wall. To each side of the throne was a row that had the highest ranking officials sitting at it. They were talking about plans to renovate parts of the poorer districts. Pillars lead to the throne, which were decorated with intricate designs unique to the Deimaar culture and kingdom. A servant was sent from each table with an idea written on paper for the mighty, Lord Leodonas Rahf, to consider. As he read, there was a loud knock on the main entrance to the hall. A guard stepped in. "Present, The king of Falswar's messenger." A tiny man walked in. A bit hunchbacked. The man bowed to the king.
"I bring a notice directly from King Mathius..." He presented the scroll, looking at the ground. A servant retrieved it and opened the scroll. Leodonas nodded, and the servant began reading. The notice depicted that Deimaar make a full surrender, submitting their crown and palace to Falswar. The letter was thought out really well. It said what the consequence would be, and what will happen once they surrender. Leodonas's laughter stopped the servant's reading. Leodonas looked into the eyes of the messenger.
"Does Mathius think me a fool?" He asked the messenger. The messenger looked at him, confused. "Does Mathius really expect me to surrender after a petty letter?" He stood up. Leodonas was famous for his ability to run a kingdom, even if a percentage of it didn't want to work well with him, But the thing he was most known for other than that, was his anger. Leodonas waved his hand and two guards grabbed the messenger by his arms and pulled him to his feet. Leodonas stood with his face less than 10 centimeters from the messengers face, and spoke in an unusually calming voice. As if he were calming a lamb before it was slaughtered. Leodonas knew he had to send a message back to Mathius. "Let me send a message to Mathius..." He said, pulling out a dagger that he kept on himself at all times he was awake. Leodonas grabbed the messenger's head and pulled it back. He carved a giant 'NO' on the forehead. The messenger screamed for mercy, but for Leodonas this was war...and all is fair in war. "This will make a fine message..." He said and put the dagger to the messenger's neck, The dagger was made of the finest metals, able to cut precisely through flesh and bone, even light plated armor. He cut off the messenger's head and threw the head next to the feet of the lifeless body, the eyes wide open. Leodonas's robes were now tattered with blood and he sighed, walking back to the throne and throwing the knife into the ground, taking his seat.
"How about we send Mathius a message?"

This RP, like many other RP's, will have rules. (Obviously.) These rules are as follows:
1) All RPA Rules apply here as well as any other part of the OOC/IC.
2) Respect each other, and have fun! Nobody likes to rp with a party pooper.
3) Lets keep racial slurs out of this rp. Don't want to offend anyone, now do we?
4) Lets also censor out as much of the 'sensual' themes as we can. I know, it can be hard to- I mean what...
5) Just to make sure you're reading this, Make sure to say "Mathius, You fool..." in the 'Other' section of your CS!
6) Rules can be added by me, and mods of the site if need be. If I tell you to look at the rules section, MAKE SURE TO DO SO! Sorry for all caps, but emphasis. Y'know.
7)ANOTHER THING! This roleplay will be taking place before mainstream use of guns. So, guns will be really rare. And really good ones are rarer.

Spoiler: Deimaar, Kingdom of the Oasis
Deimaar is a kingdom built around a giant, multi-mile long, oasis. This isn't taking place on earth, so yes. I did just make this up. Deimaar is most known for it's exports of fish and other water-related goods. Deimaar is known to have 3 factions:
The Royal Army of Deimaar: This includes all Nobleman and Royalty ranks. This also includes Soldiers of the Royal army of Deimaar. Certain groups within the Royal army, such as those under the command of 7th General Ysfaar, are considered corrupt. Taking extra taxes from the citizens of the poorest district, known as Cairoll. Threatening the innocent families into keeping their mouths shut, and if need be, making people disappear. Although 7th General Ysfaar's branch isn't the only corrupted branch, it is the one that is most known for it's corruption.
Spoiler: Lord Leodonas's Guard
This is a group of the Royal Army's highest ranking, and most skilled soldiers. Their duty is to protect their king with their lives. For the most part, they are truly loyal to the king, but it is rumored that a mole of King Mathius's has snuck in. Nothing is for certain.
Black Marketeers(Deimaar): Another faction, calling Cairoll it's home, are the Black Markets. They smuggle in things that are otherwise illegal and smuggle out those that can't get out the way that the richer population can. They have made a deal with the 7th General, which has lead them to maintain their markets without notice from the king.
The People's Republic: A small group of citizen's that want to see the king fall from his throne and create a new government. A Republic. The group contains less than 200 people, but has already been causing many troubles with the Royal Army of Deimaar. They use extremist ways and are not afraid to kill to get what they want. If someone is found and proven to be a member of this group, they are immediately taken into custody and searched thoroughly. The leader of this group, Marenzi Fremi, has been arrested, but it has not stopped the group's efforts.
Spoiler: Falswar, Kingdom of the Sands
Falswar is most well known for being hidden among the sand dunes that surround it. It's king, Mathius Dalaer, is just as fearsome as Leodonas. Falswar is known to have 3 of it's own factions, and one that is the same as Deimaar's.
The Legions of Falswar: The main fighting forces of Falswar, they are tasked with two main objectives. Protect the king, and protect the kingdom. For the most part, the faction is a just one. Dealing out justice as it sees fit. But that does not mean there are no cracks in the stone. A certain percentage of the faction runs rampant on the power they have. There's no one to challenge that power, so there is no one to stop them.
Black Marketeers(Falswar): Same as the Black Market in Deimaar, except they hide from the Legions and most vendors are not known for their true identities except for a the few that they tell. The legion does not accept them as a part of their society, seeing them as leeches. If you are caught selling black market goods, you are taken into prison and never heard from again.
The Grim Brotherhood: A group of highly skilled assassins. If they are paid enough, they will do just about anything they are asked to do. Whether that be mugging a man, to robbing a house, to killing someone and making sure the body isn't found. A truly grim brotherhood, not for the faint of heart.
Falswar's Saviors: An ambitious group of young adults that band together to return much of the people's freedoms, which were taken away long before Mathius's reign. They preach nonviolence, but a few of the members feel that they need a more....direct approach.
~~Another faction, which resides in both kingdoms, is called 'Sisters of the Black Rose'. They own many brothels which can be found around the kingdoms, which have made them rich over the years. They use their money and power to influence the two kingdoms in a way they see fit, Although the influence can rarely be traced back to them. A sister can be identified by a black rose tattooed onto their body. Normally along a wrist, or ankle.~~
