You've technically got the lost and the damned forgeworld rules. They, however, just suck. And may also have been invalidated by 9th edition.

I’ve just claimed this thread as my own. I should start a series with playing with keywords. I added a way to add Guard into an Imperial Knight list as well.
Man, I hope the codex for Imperial Knights actually makes them a viable solo faction again. I've got literally 13 giant robots sitting in a cubboard waiting to be relevant again
Apparently Imperial Knights have been doing okay recently.
- War for the Wooden Spoon GT: Chaos Knights came second place.
- Dakka Kon 2021: Imperial Knights came third place.
- War In The Burg GT: Came first.
Apparently for Imperial Knights the Magaera is really good right now. Apparently the new Ad-Mech codex has rules to support taking at least 1 Knight with Ad-Mech.
Depends how much they've edited VP gain. It seems 9th is very VP focused and doesn't favour armies that have a lot of one type of unit to capitalise VP on. I think knights have gone out of vogue since they're 'easy' victory points, and if you spam them, well, you're giving your opponent a no-brainer secondary objective.
There’s a cap on secondaries. The best secondary against Knights is Titan Slayer. Gives 5 VP for every titanic vehicle you kill. So very easy to get 15 out of a possible 45 secondary points.
As for other secondaries you’re better off getting board control focused ones. The worst part about Knights right now is their lack of objective holding/action performing units. Knights themselves can still kill and tank hits just fine.
