She stayed on the couch without saying a word. She felt like her heart was torn into a million pieces. She cried silently letting her tears fall and not wiping them away. She felt so broken. She needed to numb her feelings for him and stop showing so much affection. Without a word She left the house to go to a bar. What she felt she needed was a drink.
Javan heard the door open and close, realizing she left. He sighed, everything felt as it was being torn into different places and he wasn't sure what to do. Perhaps this is the reason why angels never got close to those they protected, things like this happened. He shook his head trying to clear it but couldn't, not could he go fight demons at this state. He wanted to make sure Tessa was safe but at the same time, she probably didn't want to see him, perhaps not ever again. He groaned a bit and just laid down on the bed.
She arrived at the bar and walked in. She sighed and sat down. She ordered a few shots of tequila and quickly got them down. She needed Javan out of her head and this was the only way to do it. She wanted to see him but knew it was going to be a problem and just a whole bunch of 'this can't happen' and she couldnt handle that.
Javan couldn't get her out of his head and didn't have a way to really do so either. He sighed as he watched the time, soon starting to get worried about how long she was out but knew he shouldn't go interfering with her life too much. He was already too deeply involved. Finally, he just sighed, sitting back up and making his way to the kitchen getting some coffee. Once she was back they will have to talk this out, if she was returning the night, he just had to tell her how he felt, even if such things go against some unspoken rule, he wanted to be with her.
She was 7 shots in and really drunk. She felt she should leave but still refused. She giggled and looked around. She didn't know if she could even walk straight anymore. All she was thinking of was more drinks, and hating Javan at the moment. She knew deep down that she didn't hate him but the alcohol was clouding her judgement. She looked outside and saw it had gotten darker. She looked at her phone and sighed
Javan waited for her to return. Watching the sky slowly turning dark was enough to get him worried over the top. He got his phone and found her number then started to call her, hoping she will pick up and just notify him where she was. If she had gone home he could accept that, he just needed to know she was safe. Especially now that it was turning dark again.
She saw Javans name pop up on her phone screen. "Heyyyy there." She slurred. "How are youuu?" She then giggled. She had another shot of tequila. "I'm at the bar." She giggled again. She then went silent not knowing what to say.
Javan sighed in relief as she picked up only to frown realizing she was drunk. "The bar? Alone, at this time? How are you planning on getting home?" He said still worried now and then walked over to take his wallet knowing he should go get her. "I'm coming to get you, it's getting late and you sound a bit unable to walk back." He said and sighs a bit. "Are you okay?" He also added as he left the house.
"I didn't think of that. But I don't care." She sighed when he said he was coming to get her. she took her phone and hung up. She couldn't talk to him. She also ignored the question to whether she was okay or not. Why should he care, he is the one who hurt her in the first place. He drove her to drink which she vowed never to do again. She then started crying sinking to the floor.
Javan sighed as he drove off to get to the bar, she certainly wasn't in the right set of mind but he couldn't blame her either. He knew he was an added issue to her list of worries already and had to make up for it. Soon he came to a stop and entered the bar looking around though it wasn't hard to find her as she was crying while a few of her people tried helping her and find out what was wrong. He hurried over then kneels down while looking at her worried as he said: "Tessa it's okay, let's go home."
