2019, a new virus has been found in the ice of Antarctica, frozen. Scientists took a sample and studied it in laboratories for further information. 2020. For an unknown reason, the virus escapes a laboratory in China, and starts spreading. Soon, with an overload of infected and infectious people, airports and train stations are closed off. 2021, people start voyaging illegally across the globe, spreading the virus and rapidly turning the situation to a global pandemic, hundreds of thousands of people being infected every week. 2022, the virus starts mutating at an alarming rate, making it impossible to create a working vaccine, and soon the pandemic reaches even the third world indigenous countries, making the pandemic a real global crisis. 2023, people start to have strange symptoms, for example bloody foam at the mouth, convulsions, heavy diarrhea with vomiting, dizziness, extreme fatigue, delirium and even organ failure in the worst cases. 2024, the world is now on a Code Red Emergency of Bacteriological Crisis (CERBC) as millions of people are dying every months, and soon the pandemic becomes a case of fatal threat to humankind. 2025, residents of small villages report seeing dead friends or relatives walking around in the villages on some occasions, government does not treat the case seriously. 2026, it is official that the dead are coming back to life, and scientists are trying their best to find a working cure for this dead awakening virus. 2027, the dead are infecting hundreds of thousands per week, leaving blood and corpses laying everywhere only to get up again and propagate the virus even more, the army is trying to successfully contain the so-called Zeds with all their firepower. 2028, the world is starting to collapse under the countless hordes of Zeds, the army has been overridden by the Zeds, we lost our main line of defence. 2029, it’s the apocalypse, 2 billions people are left. 2030, less than a million people are left, it is our Final Stand.
