Maeva wasn't sure how she felt about the healer's touch, but let it happen anyway. "...Thank you," she said, clearly flattered.
"Rest up a bit and we'll get back to, alright?"
She nodded. "Can I... go see Roger?"
"I suppose but make it quick. He also has his own work to do."
"Of course," she said, getting up. She quickly headed over to the stairs and went up, looking for Roger.
The door was open to the library where Roger was located. He was behind several stacks of books with his head resting on his hand as he flipped through pages of the tome in front of him. He let out a long sigh, looking bored.
Maeva smiled when she saw him, and briefly looked around the library in wonder. It was exactly as she'd... envisioned it. "Roger," she whispered, waving at him.
Roger looked up when he heard his name. He then beamed when he saw Maeva. "Hey!" He whispered back excitedly. He got up and immediately moved over to hug her tightly. "you okay?" He asked softly.
She smiled as he came over and hugged him back lovingly. "Yes. It's... weird, but cool. You?"
"Me? I'm bored out of my God damned mind. They have me reading these dusty old books about things I already know or the that I assumed."
