It's a Minecraft world after all (Parody)

You awake to the surf crashing on the shore. Your ship lost, it's just you and a handful of survivors, facing an unknown wilderness. One that as the sun sets, brings out the zombies, skellies, creepers, and the ever elusive Enderman. You need shelter, and quickly.

While not everything is square, the basic mechanics will be minecraftian - simple things like torches are done by yourself, but you need a crafting table to make furnaces, tools, and even beds. May introduce a few variations to the standard recipes.

You do not need to have played Minecraft to play this game (but it would help, certainly).

Minimum threshold for game will be three players.

I’d be down for this. Would the inventory system still work mostly the same?

Yup. Everyone has a crafting ability which is enhanced by the crafting table and an inventory ability where they can quickly access things on their hot bar (belt) or tuck it into personal "hammer space" for 27 slots. If you become a zombie, you lose both abilities as well as all items you're not wearing.

It's this crafting ability that allows them to craft and combine chests that are basically bigger on the inside (27 slots per chest).

I'm considering adding a few items from some of the mod packs, like backpacks and pouches. A backpack is a portable chest with 27 slots, while a pouch has nine slots.

Sleeping bags are another possibility. A chest transporter is another.

This sounds interesting enough for being involved in.
