Sounds pretty good. Start it off with some character interaction at a bar or something. Can talk about stuff, and could maybe bring up some job offers whilst they're there, and then move onto the trials and tribulations of the mission itself.Quote:

Um, Sirc had two data crystals - one was for 17. Must have missed the memo that we were hiding them, as they need to be documented before they can get licensed as Crew//Trainee.
This is an outpost and they've already got a Tek they have to handle. If the ship's captain agrees to take them on, they're not likely to care as long as they're assured we didn't kidnap him (documented rescue, data crystal shows they needed immediate emergency care). And she doesn't believe in telepathy - so nothing like that made it into her report.
Ships that land on planets sometimes leave with one or two extra, even on the primitive worlds. Captains are well within their rights to jettison stowaways out the nearest airlock, but typically that's a limited environment/fuel issue.
We can time jump if you like, but at some point we're going to need to get them documented and licensed if we want to avoid accusations that we were using them as slave labor.
I don't mind either way. If people can come up with some shenanigans involving our...I suppose they would be a refugee, I'm sure I can play along easily enough. Though I can't think of any particularly interesting ways to initiate things personally.
