Victor nodded his head slowly. “You two, get rest for today and tonight. We will be back in the morning to grab you two.”
Tulay nodded her head slowly and looked at Madam. “What will I be doing?”
Victor nodded his head slowly. “You two, get rest for today and tonight. We will be back in the morning to grab you two.”
Tulay nodded her head slowly and looked at Madam. “What will I be doing?”
The Madam looked at Victor. She'd rather have sent Emrys this instant, and not have to look after Rafe for the rest of the day and the night. But she could recognise the need for Emrys to be well rested, and she had made him pay quite a lot of energy today. She took a breath and looked at Tulay.
"...When he goes, you will be using a scrying spell to keep an eye on him. Keep us informed on his mission while we deal with the rest of the prisoners."
Tulay nodded her head slowly. “At least we will know if he needs our help.” She said and let out a very small yawn.
Rafe frowned a little and bit his lip. “What about the others? What are you going to do with them?”
The Madam looked at him. "Do you really care what happens to them?"
Rafe shrugged his shoulders. “I’m just on the fence about it. They were my family for years, but now it’s like I don’t know them at all.”
The Madam nodded. "Then they are no longer your concern."
Rafe nodded his head slowly. “Okay.” He whispered and looked at Victor as he spoke.
“You two rest, we have a lot to do tomorrow.” He spoke and made sure he had a good grip on Rafe.
The next morning, Tulay woke up slowly and looked over at Emrys. He just looked so perfect while he slept. If only she looked that good while sleeping
.
Emrys was fast asleep still, his brain not wanting to let him wake up to his reality just yet. Today's mission clearly worried him.
Tulay smiled a little and got up to go make them both some coffee. She walked to the kitchen and over to the coffee pot to see it was already brewing. That was one less thing she had to do. She went to the table and sat down. This mission they had would be tough.
