[M] Jianyu Returns to Nan

Jun held his hands together while looking up at the statue. He appeared to give a silent prayer for Bohai. Then his mind opened and poured out to Jianyu. "O-ancestor I've been reading so much! I read stories about you, Great Ancestor Bohai! When you were both young, your adventures! I've been reading to understand everything. We are doing the same thing!" He pointed at Jianyu's chest. "You want to hear a kid's thoughts, I wanted to hear a grown up's thoughts!" He folded his arms across his own chest then placed his jaw in his hand in thought. "O-ancestor, what if the Five Kingdoms are like you! You keep changing. You are old and young. What if we need both?"

Jun’s insight made Jianyu chuckle and his eyes water. The glistening touch spread over his eyes handsomely and he stared at the child with a reserved joy. His Fatal Grace stood upright and pulled away from Bohai.

“Then it would be a cycle I have not seen” The old bird answered honestly. “Maybe you are right, but that destines what has come to pass to fail. We are now in a new empire again young one. This empire then must break and The Five Kingdoms come again, is that correct?” The white haired man asked the black haired boy curiously.

Jun nodded and smiled at Jianyu. "Yeah! At least I think so. I've been reading, and empires rise and fall don't they? Just like one day the Western Empire will fall. I wonder what it will become." He continued to look at the statue then turned his head to view tree. It was a pink cherry blossom tree that had been brought long ago from the Burning islands. New to the land, the tree struggled at first but has since blossomed beautifully. "I've been reading about them too. I've been studying Empires. Even the High Elves, though those are just fairy tales everyone tells me."

Jun had managed to instill a depth of confidence about the child of Nan. Powerful minds, they would always be needed to keep the balance of The Five Kingdoms. The speak of Elves caused Jia to flatten his pale lips. The recesses of what little he could remember bitterly reminded him the expanse of things which he did not directly lnow. Mystery was near endless.

"Keep eyes on your stratagem Jun. it would serve you better than Elves. They are not a part of our world"

Jun laughed a bit lightly as a butterfly landed on his head. He stayed very still until it fluttered away gliding on a gentle breeze. "O-ancestor. Can you tell me more stories about Bohai. I want him to live on in me as he does in you. You must miss him a lot." Jianyu began to speak with nostalgia and the two stood there before the statue and shrine for some time, sharing their time with fondness and joy.
