Name: Douglas Carrow
Age: 11
Gender: Male
House: Slytherin
Year: First Year
Physical Description: Douglas - with luck - doesn't share the pig-face that his ancestor Amycus held when he was teacher of 'Dark Arts' at Hogwarts during the Second Wizarding War. However, he is a relatively average - if not below average - looking fellow. One thing that he has inherited from his ancestor is the squat appearance that Amycus held, with Douglas constantly seeming to be hunched over or bending at the knees - whether this is a trait that came with the interbreeding of the Carrow line (as many of the Sacred Twenty Eight intermarry with cousins in order to keep their blood pure) is unknown, but it is apparent in Douglas's physical disposition.
His eyes are a milky blue, bordering on a dark grey and his face is relatively unmemorable. In fact, a lot of students simply remember him as 'Mordushku's mate'. Besides this, he has a thick nose with large nasals, a set of thin, nigh-on non-existent eyebrows and thin, pursed lips that seem to jut out slightly more than intended. He lost his left canine tooth when he was young, and the adult tooth either has yet to sprout, or will not sprout at all - regardless, he wears the tooth on his neck as he believes it brings him good luck (Though, unknown to him, his father charmed with with a weak Protega Charm as his son is not so gifted at Offensive or Defensive magic, and he did not wish for Douglas to make a fool of himself.)
Personality: Douglas is relatively lackadaisical in his actions, often sleeping in too late or spending his time slouching over a table studying haphazardly or eating - one of his favourite past times, though for some reason the skeleton-like boy never seems to grow in weight. Despite this, he holds a rather cheerful disposition and a great pride in his ancestors Amycus and Alecto for being Deputy-Headmasters of the School - though he often ignores the sordid reputation to their position, believing that surely if they were not deserving of the position then the Dark Lord wouldn't have placed them there in the first place.
Douglas does not seem to care too much about Dark Magic or normal Magic, believing that he has to learn all of it if he is to follow in the footsteps of his two ancestors and become a skillful Wizard capable of being a teacher and beyond at Hogwarts.
He seems to be very talented at Charms, though he is nigh-on useless at combat magic and prefers utility spellcrafting.
Brief History: Douglas had more than an ordinary life as a Pureblood. Being born and taught the beliefs of the Carrows, he took barely any stock within the sordid history of his family, and decided to do away with most of the preconceptions of what he must become when he heard of their 'great achievement' in becoming high ranking members of the teaching staff at the school. Though his mother and father both shake their heads and find themselves confused when their son speaks of his excitement to teach, it is this desire that drove him to Slytherin - the House in which the Carrow's have been sorted into for an age - otherwise he may have found himself in Hufflepuff for his kind demeanour.
Arriving at Hogwarts, he quickly fell in with Cary, Michael and Tamara, making a small group of likeminded individuals - also known as a group of friends.
