Personality : Dexter is the adventurous sort. Growing up hearing stories of his parents work and tales from his grandfather turned Dex into a bit of a daredevil. He is loyal to his friends, and still communicates with those back in the US.

Dexter’s parents met by luck. His father was traveling the globe with some muggle friends; His mother was on assignment from the Body for Protection of Magical species. A whirlwind romance erupted and they were quickly married. The family remained in the United States, and Sean (Dexter’s father) accepted a job with the Department of Magical Law Enforcement.

Dexter spent about half his life with his grandfather; a cherokee medicine man. The elder is who taught Dexter what little wand-free magic he knows while starting the boy's magical schooling. In the years leading to his own enrollment in a wizarding school Dexter was told all about Ilvermony by an elder cousin. However towards the end of July, Dexter's parents informed him they were moving to Ireland.

Frustrated that he will be unable to attend Ilvermony and possibly play Quodpot for the Wampus Cat house, Dexter tried to get his parents to let him live with his grandfather. They refused and Dex found himself enrolled in Hogwarts.

They're definitely gonna be buds! If he'd be interested she's about to find out there's unicorns in the forbidden forest, and drag Dawn along for a nighttime exploration of the creepy woods! Yay!

I'll include Dexter in the thread where Tilly and Fira meet, it will be a good in for her to drag him to the forest as it's Fira that will tell her about it, and then an opportunity for Dexter and Fira to meet as well.
