Name: Aurilen Faelirn
Rank: Sergeant of the Mage Court, Third daughter of the Commander Sentar, second son of Lord General Margus.
Race: Dark elf.
Nationality: Isand Guar, militant capital of iShβdόr
Age: 34, though she appears to be 18.
Appearance: Aurilen stands at a rather shy 57 in height, rather common in her race. Her skin is a deep onyx color, a spreading of white freckles across her skin. Her eyes glow with a menacing yet alluring ruby red color, black pupils darkening the color a shade. Her skin is as smooth as the stone most people draw her color to. Her canine teeth have grown into sharp points from the corruption coursing through her. This though is the only sign of her change, a small one compared to the others. Her earrings is pierced with gold, two on the right, and one on the left, a sign of her family ranking. She has long silver hair, braided down the center with a set of double hair loops to represent her status of unmarried. She has a rather alluring set of D-cup breasts, though keeps them wrapped, thus reducing her to a C-cup.
Her usual outfits are a tight fitting tunic emblazoned with her family crest on her right breast, that of a raven resting on the hilt of a sword with a wreath of thorns around it. The crest can be hidden by pulling on the shoulder, allowing an overlay of the tunic to come down and button to her waist. The tunic is dyed and styled with a deep red and silver trim, a more subdued color scheme than most of her rank. Matching this, she has a pair of brown breeches made of a sturdier leather. The only part of her regular armor she keeps on her is a pair of metal backed gloves, made of steel with an overlay of onyx. Traces of gold can be seen highlighting the ridges along it. Her boots are a simple leather with a fur inside for comfort and warmth.
Over all of this, she wears a simple cloth cloak for travel, to help keep her warm. For non military or days off, she wears a modest blouse that frills at the end, a matching long skirt that stops just short of her ankles. It is the most feminine article of clothing she allows herself, being a respected member of the military.
Weapons:
Mage Staff- A simple wooden staff that comes at a full 6 in height. Made of a seasoned and burned mahogany, the staff was made for agility and channeling strikes, allowing her to keep a distance from her foes while also using her magic.
Mage Staff Augment: Using a focused magic of earth and water, she can pull the steel from her gauntlets and form an axe head on her staff, turning it into a poleax for more damaging and more effective lunges.
Pistol holdout: A small pistol that she keeps hidden away on her body, rather well hidden through a combination of magic and knowledge of her body. It holds at max 24 bullets, along with a second clip of armor piercing bullets. These are kept hidden in the ties of her hair, looking like a set of metal clips to keep her hair in place.
Creeds: Aurilen follows 3 simple creeds, and will never compromise herself on these unless she wishes to bring shame to her family.
None shall be left on the field, whether dead or alive, for each warrior deserves a warriors send off. Under this creed, Aurilen will do her best to make sure all of her squad or those of others make it off the field, whether dead or alive.
None shall be at fault except for those that have failed to prepare. A strange sounding creed, but one she holds fast. If tasked with a mission, she will see it through to the end until ordered otherwise. If the mission fails, she will hold those responsible to their actions, along with a personal failure, for not having made sure that everyone was ready for the mission.
Authority is followed, but respect is earned. Aurilen will follow those of whom are higher rank and station then her, but she will not show respect to those who have not earned it.
Personality: Aurilen to her truth, is a soldier through and through, though not at the same time. She is trustworthy and stern to those who are under her command, pushing for the best that they have. She holds all to the same standard, and approaches each meeting like a military exchange, remaining formal and civil throughout.
On the flipside, Aurilen is rather good with her emotions and political tongue. Growing up in a position of note, Aurilen had to learn quick how to gauge reactions of others and respond in appropriate kind, along with allowing the right emotions to play across her face without giving herself away. The few times she has broken protocol has been to quiet the rabble of those who wish to give up their chosen roles.
Skills and talents:
Combat talents
Aurilen is a talented fighter and well versed in the use of a poleax and staff, practicing well. While no where near a master of the two, she can hold her own in a fight for some time, having adapted her own militant style for magic and physical strength.
Aurilen is skilled with close combat, but only for quick and decisive strikes to incapacitate others. If put in a real fight with one trained in close combat, she would not stand long against them.
Aurilen is a modest shot with a pistol, having learned only at the request of others.
Magical Talents
As a Sergeant of the Mage Court, Aurilen is skilled at using magic. She began her studies of magic at the age of 14, the lowest starting age seen in the military for the mage courts. She took to fire and Wind quickly, though earth was challenging for her, and she has the bare minimum use of water.
Banes:
Fighting style- Built around quick and decisive blows, Aurilens fighting style was not built around prolonged fights. While strong with magic and said strikes, Aurilen is not one for long winded fights, with a slightly below average stamina for fighting.
Pride- With her noble family rank Aurilen holds herself to her pride, even if that would get her in trouble otherwise. This has caused her to suffer corporal punishment at her actions or brash words.
Biography: Aurilen was born as the third daughter to the second son of the Lord General. This meant that she was designed for two roles. To either marry into the royal family that ruled over the commoners, or become a member of the military. Disliking the noble class, she had decided on the military. She took part in her siblings practice, borrowing a bow staff for her own practice use.
At the age of 12, she took her first try at magic, as was standard for those who wish to enter the academy. With her skill of magic, she was set along that path, clearing the academy a full year early, in part to her skill, and a good part due to her heritage. So at the age of 14, she was drafted into the mage court.
Aurilen, along with the rest of her recruits, went through hell as they studied the arts of power, and even learning the dark arts of daemonic casting and even using their hidden power, both as a sign of their skill, and to show their devotion to their lineage and their fight. While minute, Aurilen was marked in her own way, in the shape of her now canine teeth.
At the age of 16, she was drafted finally into the army, to fight and support those who she had trained and grew up in. On the field though, is where she excelled. Never one of the top students in school, Aurilen was a huge asset in the field, losing very few of her squad, and making sure even the last man got out, regardless of her own personal injury. She was, without a doubt, the perfect soldier.
It was decided then, upon her 33 birthday, that in one years time she would be sent above ground on a special assignment by the Lord General Margus.

The sun was something that she would never get used to. A massive burning star in the sky, she was nearly blind for the first 3 days above ground. Even after leaving, she stayed near the rift, having to climb the steep cliff to avoid guards that covered her homeland. The air felt thin and cold, a strange and foreign concept to her that had her hiding within the caves of the mountain range that she had come from.
Aurilen shivered in the cold as she huddled closer to the fire, a meager wisp of smoke the only sign of warmth that trailed thinly into the air above her. The letter tucked inside her tunic would have provided better warmth than the few sticks and twigs she had managed to find on the cold frozen landscape of the world's crown. Getting up here was hard, now even harder would be to bypass the dwarves of Draguzar as she made her way out. She didnt know how long it would take, but she had to make it to the meeting of the worlds kingdom, news that had managed to reach their ears from the Dragari.
Lord General Margus .. I wont fail. Aurilen said as she stared down at the letter, giving a long sigh and watching her breath curl up in thick steam. It was odd to see, her homeland constantly warmed around her that such a cold was unknown to her. She was given this missive and mission, told not to let it fall into anyones hand other than those who would be able to support them. She knew being spotted would get her killed, but the risk was worth it.
Tomorrow, I move out, once the sun has set, until I can see in the light. Aurilen said as she pulled the cloak closer to her body, huddling close to the fire for warmth as she managed to drift to sleep, finding miniscule warmth in the fire and cloak. It was going to be a long mission.
