Ayo nodded when they got to Tink. "Sorry for the delay. But we have someone to take back with us." She looked at the Tek Haxxer. She was impressed this being would be able to survive in the vacuum in space for such a brief amount of time. The genetic make up was remarkable.

"So since we are taking you back I would like to request I keep one of these yellow vials. I want to run some experiments on it. We did save your life after all. Think of it as payment." Ayo said it matter of factly. She would give her one of the other vials back, but it was too good of an opportunity to return both.

Over the comm link she notified the doctor. "Hey doc hope you are ready for another patient. Gun shot to the abdomen. Patient has had ingested a strange liquid that likely gave a rush of endorphines and adrenaline to push patient from feeling blood loss and pain. Likely a sympathetic nervous system enhancement of some sort. I have a goal of liquid we can run some tests on."

With that being said Ayo waited for the signal that it was safe for them to go across the expanse of space back the comfort and the safety of The Falcor.

When Ayo announced she would be keeping one of the vials, Kzznikkt could have struck the Zalmade. But she could tell her rescue was a tenuous one, and if they had any reason to leave her here to die, they would take it. Instead, she took a deep breath, then released it in a shuddering snarl.

“Fine. Though I could tell you everything about it myself.” She held out her clawed hand for the remaining vial. The smooth glass clinked softly against her chitinous hand as she slipped it back into her pouch. Her wings flicked irritably. The newest crew member was another human, female this time. She looked thoroughly unhappy to see her. Kzznikkt’s own expression soured even more than it already was, though it might not have been so evident to the humans. Her feet tapped on the floor.

    “What are we waiting for?”

The Falcor’s airlock clanked shut, and Pedro felt himself drifting down towards the floor as the gravity plates ramped up. Re-compression jets bathed the four spacewalkers in white fog, sounding almost like a sigh of relief, but Pedro didn’t share their optimism. The Tek was leaning on the wall of the airlock, still injured, but apparently no worse for wear from the brief flight through hostile vacuum.

“Alright.” the pilot deadpanned, detaching his thruster pack and wriggling out of the two halves of the space suit until he could move freely again in just his overalls. “Let’s get her to Sirc. Might want to make sure the other survivor’s out of the room first. Me and Tink can see about modifying two of the pods for them to stay in.”

He glanced at Tink; judging by her very out-of-character seriousness, she was worried too.

“Better make sure this one’s has a lock.” he murmured.

Eyes warily watching the injured Tek as the jets hissed, Tink let herself be grateful at least that Ayo had been armed and seemed to be able to keep the insectoid talking without needing the weapon. Pedro went through the motions of business as usual, but the mechanic was slow to peel herself out of her space suit. It might not be much protection, but it was at least something between her and the deadly barbs of the Tek.

She nodded in silent agreement regarding the accommodations for the new arrivals - especially this one. It was always possible that this individual was perfectly lovely, but she would take caution over being murdered in her sleep any day.

When the others were clear of the airlock, she wriggled her way out of her suit, brushing her messy hair from her eyes before carting off her samples to drop off at her little tinkering station in engineering. With that done, she would head on to the business of modifying the pods. Her stomach rumbled in protest and she wondered if mess would be delayed with everyone busy tending to the wounded. She gazed longingly off in the direction in which they usually dined. If the Captain made good on their word to notify the Feds, who knew what sort of red tape they were in for on top of it. She sighed, leaning into her work and letting it distract her from the rest.

Zyaust-jecant was waiting in the corridor leading to the airlock. They had headed there after hearing the away team was returning, and with a surviving Tek Haxxar no less. Their nerves flexed but no physical fidgeting occurred as they'd locked their body in place. They still felt as if they were fidgeting regardless, so small amounts of stress were still vented from their agitated mind. Finding the surviving Tek Haxxar and deciding on the subsequent decision to bring them on board had only a mild effect on their mental wellbeing. With the flood of trouble that the Falcor had encountered, dealing with the living Tek Haxxar was adding a glass of water to a bucket.

Lost in thought for lack of anything better to do, they rose to their senses at the sound of hissing air from the airlock. Motion returned to their body as they turned to face the airlock door. Zyaust-jecant's back arms unfolded towards their front, and their four leg-arms took on a more braced posture. The Tek Haxxar had so far been co-operative, but they were a prisoner and thus to be met with caution. Zyaust-jecant knew this, and they were certain the Tek Haxxar knew this as well.

The airlock door opened, and there was Pedro (out of their space suit), Tink (still in her space suit) and the Tek Haxxar they had escorted over, who showed no evidence of having a suit on or discarded. Curious, to be sure. But that could come later. Their evident wound couldn't.

'[AUTHORITIVE/APPRENSIVE] I will escort the Tek Haxxar to the medical room. Once holdings for the Tek Haxxar have been arranged, you may both relieve yourself of duty for the day. I can set the ship towards the nearest Federation outpost and look up what procedures are liable to be inflicted upon us.'

One of their back arms reached to grasp one of the Tek Haxxar's free arms with a somewhat loose grip. Zyaust-jecant hoped that the steadiness of their mechanical hand would bring to mind a vice and scare them off trying to struggle or be difficult. They certainly didn't want to have to quickly adjust their grip, as though their hand could be a vice, it was about as capable of deft and swift manipulation as one.

Sirc pressed the button on the display panel. The sample arm misted Sanispray onto its limb, then pausing for a moment to allow the local to desensitize the skin, the arm pressed against it and gently jabbed the needle in, then withdrew a sample of blood.

The needle withdrew, and a spray bandage was applied as the sample arm retracted.

Sirc watched the screen carefully as the lab results came in, then nodded, pressing the master release button and safety. The plastic shield lifted up.

"Well, are you going to lie there all day?" the Draconian grumbled, holding out a tube of survival rations. "Suck on that to build up your strength, drink plenty of water and go easy on anything solid for the next two days. As if you understand a word I'm saying."

019 was out as soon as the shield lifted allowing her escape. She rolled out of there and onto the floor, just grateful to be out of that medical coffin.

She sat up as the scaley creature came over and continued to speak in words she couldn't understand. Figuring there was no longer a point to sending her mental messages, she looked over at the pink fleshy one that had sung to her.

what's she saying? she asked as she still tried to calm herself and steady her breathing.

Kzznikkt hissed as the mechanical captain grasped one of her arms. Their grip was like a shackle, handcuffing her to the six-limbed robot. She tugged back for a moment, testing his strength. Nothing. Though she couldn’t help but notice that while their arms and shoulders remained motionless, there was an ever-so-slight shifting in the lower limbs to retain balance.

“You will call me by my name. Kzznikkt.” She didn’t bother with their language. Though she might not be dead, she had allowed herself to be taken alive. Her Queen would be disgusted, and so would her ancestors for her cowardice. Then the automaton began to lead her through the hallways of the ship. It was not a nice ship, but it seemed sturdy and reliable. They came to a stop outside a door that hissed open.

Some creature was there, next to a Dracosian and another human. She scoffed internally. They did love their humans aboard this ship. She stood in the doorway imposingly for a moment before being ushered in by the captain.

Skylar squats down with 019 and strokes her. She wants to give you some food. He points to the tube. See, it's not the best food, but it will make you strong. He continues with his mental communication and a winning smile. It's okay, I'll make sure nothing bad ever happens to you, I'll keep you safe, little one.

When the door hissed open, he turned and saw Kzznikkt and stood between 019 and her. A flash of dislike crossed his face, but it was nigh imperceptible. "So, what's the giant bee doing here?" He says sarcastically, readying the hidden pistol on his arm in case any funny business happened. "We going to start an apiary?" he joked.

019 inched away from the strokes and almost swatted his hand away.
Great, thanks. She thought, Now could you give me some space?

She stood up and gingerly took the tube as the door opened and she looked quizzically around Skylar.
What's that? She asked, for that matter, what are you?

So had just about forgotten that she had seen so many new species already and haven't even bothered to ask what they were. Sorta hard to do when you're in a coffin.

The vibes she got from the room at the giant insectoid weren't friendly in the least. She'd never seen it before and didn't know why. Skylar seemed very unfriendly towards it and oddly protective of her.

Her ears twitched in the tense atmosphere. Skylar's tone was prickly as he spoke in that unknown language.
