Ive never picked up an instrument, but I have played that MTV game a whole heck of a lot.

I play the flute as my predominant instrment.... I also can play the zither, guitar, and I can play basic songs on the piano.

I used to play the snare drum in a marching band back when I was in the marine cadets a very long time ago. I now play Bass. Got a sweet ESP Ltd 5-string monster, a nice Artisan acoustic bass and a 4-string Cort C4 electric bass. I can play really simple beats on drums, I play a bit of synth and I have also just started to learn to play the Mandolin.

I used to play the flute back in middleschool...now according to my bnd instructor, i play the flag..... (which isn't even and instrument so it was weird he said that)
also tried learning the piano. I failed miserably lol

I play the Viola, it's a lot of fun, and I started in Fifth grade

I used to play the viola! I wish I had kept up with it, but I dropped it my freshman year of high school since my middle school orchestra teacher was a real punk.
