And just to summarise the other half of the game:

Patriot ground forces are in the middle of C2 (holding the line on Marioch) though currently paused awaiting player posts.

Patriot void: Stella Rosa is set up for C2 (destroy a recon sweep of Tranch - incidentally also why Glabrio’s team are currently stuck on that planet). Eudaimonia has completed C2 (stolen a navigator and escaped the imperial relief fleet at Coseflame - unfortunately they have left Alyss and Sarna behind). C3 will see them defending Tranch - a different orbital zone from the imperial void attackers, though PvP isn’t impossible.

Patriot shadows: Stan and the hereteks are in the middle of C2 (diplomatic mission to a neutral forge world…which has of course gone wrong) but is paused due to working on some Home Front scenes for Stan which give important context. Alyss and Sarna are in C2 (find a way off Coseflame, and involved on the sidelines of imperial ground C2), currently paused.

Remus was settled on the agri-world of Tephanie Minor. He is presently on Marioch by way of the Adrantean Army (specifically, my notional dragoon regiment – Remus had been in the PDF, volunteered for or active duty out of “old fashioned patriotism”) in order to reconnect with his old comrades. By a twist of fate, in mid-defection, he crossed paths with Kally in the aftermath of her semi-successful hit on Alley, where he (along with the equally unforeseen Gavin) helped her survive a hit in turn by Yannick’s mindwiped Quasars, who were formerly Sidonis’ elite stormtroopers.

One note about Heinold’s scene – that’d be Colonel Dunov (Officer commanding, Casterian Eighty Fifth) who’s storming away from the regimental commanders, rather than Colonel Reichenbach of the Kriegan 112th, who didn’t tear him in half like a phone book.

Quick question for Dak: the first thing Jarn and co will meet while racing towards the southern end of the village will be a couple of strung-out Imperial squads who have formed a picket against Patriot reinforcements - would he push through to overrun them and relieve the village as fast as possible, or pause to shoot it out and minimise casualties (e.g. call in a strike from that artillery gun that the Teph Mins managed to get back in action)?

If it helps, vox is down, but he'll be able to infer how frakked things are by how close the artillery is being called in to the trenches on the north bank.

thanks. I like the one i picked for him, but can't help but think the dune remake's Gurney Hallek by Josh Brolin is more what I was going for. Less pretty man and more grizzled veteran

Push through leading with grenades and bayonets, he is not sticking around. He wants to hit the Imps in the village while they are disorganised, if possible, and then throw up his own picket for the second wave he is expecting.
