Home Planet: Bubastis
Gender: Female
Age: 76
Rank: Fromer First Prime, Current Diplomatic Liaison
Spoiler: Brief Bio:
D’Nah spent the first 10 years of her life running the streets of Bubastis. She survived primarily on the charity of Bastet. Shortly after turning ten she was picked out by the Bast Guard to become a full fledged Jaffa; And receiving her Prim’ta. This began the most painful and enriching time of her life. Her training as a Bast Guard.
She served her “goddess” honorably, surviving a number of skirmishes against other system lords and other hostile forces. This was broken by the occasional return to Bubastis, where she spread Bastet’s charity among her ever growing capital city.
This was D’nh’s life for the fifty years after she was selected. Then as rumors spread of the deaths of first Ra, then Apophis, and Cronus began to spread. It was said these deaths were caused by a new force to the galaxy. Word also began to spread of an organized Jaffa rebellion. D’nah initially believed the target of the last rumors to be cowards and turncoats.
Then came the attacks, hitting harder and more viciously than any other system lord’s before. These weren’t guerilla attacks like those perpetuated by the rebel Jaffa. These were organized and incredibly destructive. The Bast Guard suffered heavy losses at the hands of the forces of Anubis and D’Nah was raised to the rank of First Prime.
It was during her tenureship as first prime that Bastet was assassinated by Ba’al’s Kull Warriors. D’Nah took over her former mistress’s charitable works on Bubastis. However she did not have the same riches and influence of a Systems Lord. Through necessity she reached out to the Free Jaffa Nation, with whom she negotiated Bubastis cessation and the merging of the Bast Guard into the Jaffa Nation’s forces.
In the time since, D’nah has learned the truth about the Goa’uld, and the tyranny of the majority of the system lords. This was made most clear to her when she learned of the survival and betrayal of Bastet’s dearest ally, Kali. D’nah has since rededicated herself to her new nation. Working for the Free jaffa Nation as both diplomat and warrior as the situation dictates.
