[M] Plagued Encounters (Sparkz and NoviDome)

He squeezed her hand before opening the door to the bedroom. He inhaled softly as he looked around. "it would appear that they changed very little since his passing."

[NoviDome]

Maeva looked around, suddenly feeling grief wash over her. She steadied herself with a hand on the dresser, and looked at it when she touched it. She saw how Otto had used to excitedly pull open the drawers to get to his favourite T-shirt. How in the end, this dresser had held more medical supplies than clothes. She took a shaky breath and pulled her hand back, cradling it to her chest.

[Sparkz]

Roger looked at the bed and picked up a teddy bear. "I can only imagine what they're experiencing." He murmured before setting down the bear.

[NoviDome]

"Gods," Maeva murmured softly and looked at the bear. This hit her harder than she'd expected it to, but she was glad to see no traces of Otto's spirit.

[Sparkz]

He sighed before taking Maeva's hand. "I don't see him here." He looked around sadly. "It's a shame that David never got to meet his cousin." He gently pulled her out of the room. "Let's make sure the rest of the house is cleared."

[NoviDome]

"Me neither," she said softly and followed him out. "I don't think he stayed behind."

[Sparkz]

"His story doesn't fit the typical lingering ghost stories." He squeezed her hand. "So should we return downstairs?"

[NoviDome]

"No, we'll... we'll make sure," she said, moving into the next room.

[Sparkz]

He nodded and followed her. He looked around, still not seeing any signs of a haunting.

[NoviDome]

Maeva stopped in every room and closed her eyes, but didn't pick up on anything. She eventually returned to Otto's old room and focused on one of his pictures. "...He's not here," she concluded after a moment.
