Ildapan went with Idmah, while he considered what would be involved with this monstergiant, Yhorman. Was this to be it, what he was on the island, with those who came to help him, to guard against? Surely there were other things. Those of Nynmark and those of Erhohen remained a potential threat, perhaps there were other nations with forces that could draw near. If these were what would be ahead surely an enemy behind them was at work. But such threats as Slamp were from beyond, and if that one, there could be another. Only hope remained with still calling on Hylax. But then what of this one, Yhorman, what had this one waited for, until this time?

They entered the great chamber shortly, with lit candles, or torches, or things inbetween those, along the surrounding wall, giving light in there. Ildapan then heard the one speaking there, with the echo bouncing from the wall, and listened carefully with awareness, as Idmah remained right by him.

Idmah, through gentle guidance, brought the man up to a pool that was filled with clear waters. In it, swam energy that blessed any who stepped into its depths. She said, with her eyes locked to the still surface, "You, Warden of the Isle, must step into this pool. Take that which the Divine Gem had gifted to you, one who had been chosen." She looked up, locking eyes with Ildapan. Her expression read one of reverence and dedication. She knew, now, who this man was. She saw him far too often in her dreams late into the deep nights for her to forget.

She stepped back, releasing herself from his side. She did just as the Divine Gem had instructed her, but something in her moved her to say, "Those waters will connect you with the Power you pray to, be ready."

She gestured forth, encouraging him, politely, to embark upon his journey. Not one in body, but one in spirit.

Ildapan nodded, and then removed the coat over him, and stepped then into the water of this very clear yet deep pool where steps were set on that one end of this oblong shape. He went in deep, as his feet did not reach the bottom past the steps until only his head remained above the surface. Indeed it was hard to remain in a standing position as the buoyancy of his body gave a pull to it, and he just managed. In his mind he called on Hylax who would know his mind.

Then Ildapan heard the voice again, discerning words being spoken this time.

"Ildapan, you are answered when you call for help when most needed because of your full trust in the most high, the same as a couple of your comrades on this island. Because of this, you having come saved the people of this island from sure disasters, and they will be saved by more. Your further help in work against coming disaster will be with the glorious superbeaver being found."

    Existence is ephemeral.

To judge character, is to judge with spite.

Not that we recite, intelligent design.

Resign to the fact that not a soul understands their purpose.

Ildapan, having taken in the voice of Hylax which was a sweet harmony filled with honey and dew, felt a surge of life flow through his veins. Every muscle, every bone, was invigorated past conceivable barriers within the human anatomy. His body, of which was of fit physique, tightened to reach the pinnacle of human conditioning. The whole of his body received several blessings in this moment.

For Ildapan, this moment was one of pure bliss. He was connected to the Creator, to the One That Is. Hylax, a God that holds more sway than all the other divinities, had so much love to pour onto him that it seemed as though he was to be overwhelmed. However, Hylax never over-poured. He gave Ildapan enough to empower him. Enough to enable him.

"Go," this voice said once again, "Work must still be done. For this, you have been given power. Power to banish evil."

Ildapan stepped out from the pool when he had gone up those steps at that end. As he came nearer to where Idmah stood nearby waiting. She asked him what he remembered experiencing.

Ildapan said, "I was told I am being given power to be able to banish the evil found here in this land of the Damuzi people, but it is needed that I find the glorious superbeaver. I was given a vision when I was told this, that I would recognize that one when finding him, a being is glowing or otherwise brightly reflecting the light there from his body. He would stand nearly at my height, as you do. This is provision, which I sense with the love from Hylax, the most high, that was poured on me, and I feel extremely different now. But let us go, I sense where the glorious superbeaver should be sought."

Idmah upon hearing his testimony, solidified her own belief. Although she was unaware of this Superbeaver, and followed in behind wanting to know. He said he would recognize this person the moment he saw them. So, she wasn't going to question the word of the Divine Gem.

The two ventured forth from the settlement, having been guided and lauded for the transformation. Ildapan, however, was on a mission. Outside the settlement, through the dense jungle foilage, came a solitary lake that opened the canopy up.

On one end of the lake was a workable damn made from what's left the surrounding jungle. Built within the very foundation of this structure was a home, alit with lighting. The two, now alone, tread carefully along the water's edge.

The lake's waters were filled with creatures of all kind. Its depths unknown, but its surface clear enough to see below several feet.

Within were small crabs and other small creatures, but there were larger turtles, looking like snapping turtles. And there were snakes. Both Ildapan and Idmah thought it better to not go along very close to the water.

They came to the woody dam with visible branches in its structure. The small window well above the water level was quite unique considering any familiar dam. But that there was a glow from within was most unique of all. What might power that?

The dam reached the side of the water with an opening accessible right from that end on the land, also unique for a dam built by any beavers. This glorious superbeaver clearly had no danger to be concerned about. Ildapan led the way in, having to only stoop a little, the opening was not really small. The walkway within straight ahead was dry. And they came to the being they sought, about the height of Idmah, the shape of a beaver standing up, with a noticeably higher forehead, and the fur was seen glowing.

Looking toward them, the glorious superbeaver said, "I was ready for the two I knew would come, that there will be effective defense for the land with them. You should know about the real threat to it that will yet come, more than once. Slamp was leading it all. There is lawlessness with its forces working to overthrow order we have, that all of them with their ways of chaos will prevail. This cannot work with all that are living in this land. So you needed to come here for the help that you can receive for your effective defense. I have several things for that, ready for you." The glorious superbeaver reached toward a low flat structure, and brought up a glowing item, with a curve about it.

The glowing item was to be a tool made fit to command the vast wilderness to come to the aid of the one who wields it.

It was to be placed in Ildapan's hands for the glorious superbeaver knew that Idmah was already attuned. And not skipping a beat, another item was produced.

This one was a wooden blade that seemingly could not cut the very material it was made from. However, the being made sure to display its power. It did this by taking a log from among its stock, and placed it in front of the two. Whereby, with a swipe and flash, the log was split in twine down the middle.

"This blade took time to craft, and was meant to slash Slamps impenetrable shell. Thanks to the power of the Divine Gem, he was repelled. But Slamp will return, and to end this chaos is to fell him once and for all."

The superbeaver took another item from its hoard, and presented a shield. This shield, too, was wood but when an axe was brought against it, the shield glowed with providence and the axe was rendered moot.

"This shield took even longer to craft, but can protect against even Slamp's unstoppable power. These are the tools for which you will best these strange foes. For I sense, even now, their forces draw near."

A low rumble was felt about the earth, causing many of the to flee for the dense foilage of the forest.
