Ildapan said, "Indeed, we must go, now, forward toward that disturbance, bearing these things. Idmah, when we manage what defeat we can of this adversary with the divine aid and these powerful items, we will not be done with them. There is certainty of more adversaries who are yet to come, for which these at the least will be needed. Let us go!" Ildapan led the way out from the glorious superbeaver's unique dam, and hurriedly along the shore to where sounds and vibrations were coming from.

The ground heaved and gave way to madness. The waves exploded with the force of a meteor strike, and scattered the waters far. However, it did not cease for those very waters began to churn red with the blood of a thousand damned. The fish that swam too close died, floating up to the surface in a display of pure pestilence. And rising from the blood waters, was the giant Yhorman. His shout cascading across the island like a death wail.

Fear temporarily took hold of the young Idmah. She was not prepared for the sudden force of this beast's shout, but to see that Ildapan was no more fazed assured her. She stood her ground, seeing that her and the man were not alone. The Divine Gem, and other such archbeings, were watching this coming battle with bated breath.

This giant, a huge being, that in comparison Ildapan and Idmah were seemingly children before him, wore dark armor and a thorny crown over his dark compexioned face. The giant strode forward once seeing these two. Ildapan at once held up the shield, and readied his hand with the blade. As soon as this giant would be in the range, he could use it. But if he stopped a little short of that range, Ildapan knew he could rush at the last moment and strike him before the giant would react. He glanced quickly at Idmah to see that she was ready, and then held his gaze steady at the giant as that one moved forward, readied.

Yhorman strode through coastal waters with ease and closed the distance between them. His animosity was made clear as his focus was drawn to the Warden who stood with sword and shield. He slung a mass of miasma at the pair, its mass flopping and flailing through the air.

Idmah gripping her new staff tightly and slammed its butt into the earth with enough force to plant it. And when the staff connected with the earth, the ground shook violently. There was fractures that ran along the coast, and upheavals in every nook and cranny on the beach. However, the miasma was reduced to nothing as a shield of power blocked it, entrapped it, and dispelled it.

Idmah pulled the staff free of the sand and swung the staff forward. This motion conjured forth a bolt of energy that danced through the air toward the giant.

Yhorman blocked the bolt of energy with his arms, but he wasn't expecting so much force. Thus, the giant found himself toppling over into the waters. Such toppling, placed himself within range of the Warden.

This was the moment, Ildapan then rushed forward at once swiftly over and slashed through the armor into the abdomen of that giant Yhorman with this supernatural blade seeming to be just wood, and it cut through to the other side. There was then a sudden flash, stunning Ildapan and Idmah, just momentarily. They then saw that the giant Yhorman was gone.

    "But how?"

"This giant was a supernatural being too, originating from a realm outside of our reality, like other beings we found foreign to where we dwell. Such a being then does not die here, they are brought back to their home realm where they stay banished from here, except for maybe the archbeings we heard about. The giant is then gone from here for good. We need to be ready, preparing still all we can, for more dangers to this island and its inhabitants that would be sent possibly not far off."

    Like wind he was sundered.

Banished from once he came, Yhorman was no more.

Swift was his execution. More wait in the dark. Legion awaits.

Idmah was certain that this man was not fooling her. What threats she did not know, but what was readily apparent was that the giant was sent away. Casted back to the realm from once it came. Supernatural beings, much like that giant, were fallible in their design. As such, it became no effort for the Warden to fell it in swift order.

Of course, Idmah stood there mesmerized by the gaunt quiet left by the banished being. So much crescendo for it to only end in a whimper. Such was the Will of the Gem as the land about them dimly glowed with peace. A green haze swept over the land, and from it did the island heal. But work was needed still.

Thus Idmah, taking the Warden by the hand, guided him back to the fort of which had become mighty in their absence.

It was quite a walk still. There was no reason to go to the pool of guidance, or to the glorious superbeaver, to give a report. The powers would know, the glorious superbeaver certainly would. So as they went Ildapan described to Idmah where he had come from, Erhohen across the sea, where he meant to soften the aggressive approach of the people there, yet with a little effect, for some, and how he had kept in mind the knowledge of his mother's mother and what had been passed on to him of her people, who lived on this island of the Damuzi people. While now guarding this island, with better ability he was on his way to having for the defense that would likely be needed, he had no significant desire to return to Erhohen with its people there. If he had no great effect on more of them, what could still be expected from those there?

And Ildapan listened to Idmah wishing to learn with understanding what she was telling him.
