And it was only then when Ervin took his things. Down the steps he went; time was definitely important. While his servant wrapped around his neck, numerous thoughts swam around his head. He's not used to seeing so many apprentices, yet they obeyed every word he said. Determined students prepared themselves for the inevitable, by Irvine have something else on his mind. Ernst, he would have to take care and control his servants impulsive activities in order to survive. As much as he knew it, little room settle for trials and errors. At least he had the confidence to reveal the power of his scarf.

"Master, please tell me what is going on, or I will leave you freezing in the cold. I bet you wouldn't want that, would you?" Zathura was obviously playing about. Unfortunately, her master didn't have time for games. Even in her disguise as a scarf Irvine found her to be a nuisance--curiosity was to be expected. When the king dismissed the apprentices to their rooms, Irvine did not expect so much determination to risk their lives. He was irked not to know the answer, but it was worth it.

Around the hallways, we pull out his saxophone from his suitcase. The man appreciated his hard work, and he enjoyed playing it. Fumbling in his suitcase, we found the best reed to his instrument. He screwed the reed on top of his saxophone, felt all the buttons, and he played a note. As expected, the sound was rich and smooth like baby milk. He played a key on E flat, relishing every beat of his instrument. He couldn't believe it, but the music got the better of him. What was once a practice song morphed into a beautiful piece of art.

But the man stopped playing once he caught a glimpse at Layla. He smiled at the girl as he assessed her appearance. When she passed him, he continued to play the music, but Zathura backed down. She thought about sad things whenever she heard him play that song. Zathura was a phenomenal singer, and she would sing if she was told to (or wanted to). The vibe for the song made her slither off of his neck, and she turned into a humanoid. She wandered down the steps, wondering how he would follow her.

    ][ Unbroken Forgiveness ][

"I am neither of yours…I am not a doll. I am a Nymph, a Nymph who is one with the sky. I am no ones’ to own."

These words shattered Wooddro's own soul. He stood there in complete and utter shock. He hadn't meant those words to come out as such a bad impression. Wooddro quickly snapped out of his everlasting shocked phase and looked down with dread. He never wanted to own the little nymph but, it seems fate has other plans for the Wooddro and Arya. He looked over his shoulder at the leaving Nymph and decided not to persue him knowing it would cause more stress than there already was.

' He thinks I own him... Where have I gone wrong.. I just wanted to protect him!! Damn it all!!' Wooddro cursed within the sub-conscious of his mind. He wasn't sure how to process he just needed some time alone to think about this. With the sudden shift in emotion anguish, this sparked his power that was given to him before. But instead of activating it he increased its power. His hand glowed with a deep black hue that would only have been seen if one was paying attention and with this he fazed through the hallway's wall. He disappeared from view knowing that his anguish would get the best of him.

The travel between planes was endless to this Faun. It felt as though his soul was being split into two halves of reality and fantasy. He walked slowly with some lag in his step, but before he knew it he would appear before his bedroom. How this came to be was that he had fazed from the wall that was facing his bedroom, and with this in mind this entire experience had absolutely no cause to the body at all. It was rather strange.

As Wooddro stepped into his bedroom he could feel the power starting to take ahold of his emotions. This wasn't likely since Wooddro was laxed person, much like a stoner. He settled in his soften chair that was directed by him to comfort himself whenever he was in his room alone. He sighed with a deep groan of thought to himself carefully.

'What on Earth was I thinking!? My hatred for that human only escalated further damage to the bond between Fauns and Nymphs!', Wooddro thought as those words took a emotional blow to Wooddro's own feelings and prespectives on life. He sat there leaning forward upon his hooven legs and tapped his right hoove impatiently. He tried to think of what to say to the nymph but at this point he was useless and for this he didn't want to see another being for the rest of resting phase before the journey. He sunk low into his chair and contemplated on the possible ways he could regret himself, and with this the darkness of the room surrounded him giving him more dread..

'You are only a nuisance to both Fauns and Nymphs alike.. No one ever loved you or cared for you.. You are nothing..', said a deep voice from deep within his consciousness.

Erina kept her unwavering gaze on Solaire, she frowned slightly. “I assure you, my hyre will not get in the ‘way’.” She said raising one eyebrow at the man before her. She felt herself roll her eyes slightly, of course he would not know of Genovian. The guard only like to traumatise certain students, from what Erina could guess, the ones he assumed wouldn’t fight back. Solaire tapped his armour and Erina gave him a curious scan over, she had talked little to the man before her, she knew nothing of his past, she assumed him to be a warrior of types. He would be essential in the journey, she knew that little of the students had any killer instincts or even fighting experience herself included.

She made to turn, expecting the others to appear ready to go. She didn’t want to keep any waiting, she stopped as she heard his advice. She was confused at his concern over her, the man before her was very much a mystery to Erina. She didn’t think she actually had it in her to kill Genovian even though the temptation was there. She snapped her eyes back up to his, she nodded and smiled “I understand. Sir Genovian will not be harmed by my hands.”

She smiled widely at Solaire, mentally already packing her belongs when she felt hands on her shoulders, she jumped slightly. Turning her head she saw Nalria and grinned. She wiped the grin from her face with Nalria’s words, Nalria being a fellow elf would know of the bond that Hyres hold with their owners, Erina’s power did not help this fact.

She smiled softly and rested her hand gently on the taller elf’s arm and nodded “Thank you Nalria, I apologise for causing a scene in the Throne Room.” Erina was certain that Nalria had always been at the castle, she could not remember a time without her there, she didn’t want to have insulted Nalria with her words towards the King. She nodded to both Solaire and Nalria “I guess I must pack” She glanced at her feet and then spun heading for the stairs.

She kept the animal close as it hide in the crook of her arm, she ran up the stairs quickly. She reached the top of the building and sighed slightly, she pushed opened her door and the small animal flung itself from her arms. Bubbles started to scurry around the room, picking up small toys it wanted to bring with it and throwing them onto her bed. She only chuckled as she slowly pulled off her now shredded green dress. The material seemed to catch on her wounds and she winced loudly. Undoing her green belt and letting the metal hip flask fall into her hand, she frowned before grabbing a soft white cloth and letting the liquid soak the cloth.

She dabbed the cloth to her back as best as she could, the alcohol stung at her back but she strived through. Bubbles sat watching her with wide eyes ,she only tutted at him as she wound large bandages around her to cover the wounds. Once her wounds were dressed to the best of her ability, she packed. She had few belongings, only packing clothing and wooden jewellery given to her by her parents. She packed a few silly mythology books her father had gifted her when her powers started to show.

Pulling on a deep brown dress with soft beige trousers, with a simple rope necklace, a small polished green stone hung from the necklace. She plaited her hair down one side and pulled a small brown satchel over one shoulder and her travelling bag over the other. Bubbles could happy sit in the satchel without the chance of tearing another dress to shreds. She scooped the animal back up and dumped him in the bag, much to his annoyance. She took a final look around the room that was hers for 4 years. She turned quickly before descending the stairs quickly again .

Sliding her hand along the bannister, she found herself humming a soft song as she ran gracefully down the stairs. She arrived at the bottom, Nalria and Solaire were still there. She placed her bag down, feeling the smaller satchel move violently as the Squil tried to escape the bag. Erina moved over to Solaire and pressed the hip flask in his hand, “Thank you greatly Solaire.” She took a step back, her fingers found the small bag at her side and she unlocked the top, the small animal growled softly sticking its long ears and small face out of the opening, Erina only raised her eyebrows at the small creature. He frowned and sat pouting in the small bag.

After much cursing and moving, J'ni had finally found something that worked. She left her mattress on the floor of her workshop and dismantled her table into the wall. She packed away a few blueprint books she had been working on in a pack she'd carry with her and threw a change of clothes into the room. "There we go! That should do well!" Grunty oinked at her and she smiled at him. "Yeah, I think I got everything. Now let's get this moved out and get to the not fire elf's room." She flew outside her room and placed small hands upon the wall and concentrated. The metal started to move away, forming a hole that was soon big enough to let a large (for the fairy) metal ball roll out and clunk against the floor. "There we go! I'll miss you room!" She tossed her pack onto Grunty and glance upwards at her cold friend. "Everything I need in a compact ball!" It was about half as tall as the fairy, but to anyone picking it up they'd find it was heavier than it looked at about 15 pounds of metal in such a small object.

Nalria smiled at Erina, her expression making it clear that Erina’s outburst in the throne room was not without reason and that Nalria held nothing against her. She watched the young woman as she tread up the stairs to go pack, then turned her gaze on Solaire. She opened her mouth to speak, but music interrupted her thoughts and she turned her head to see Ervin coming down the stairs to join them, playing a lovely melody on his saxophone.

The elf smiled, feeling soothed by the tune, but her purple eyes drifted to the man’s intriguing scarf. They had all been quite startled to see the unassuming object turn into a woman in the throne room, and so shocked had the King been that he hadn’t even had words to say about it--and that was a rarity indeed. She thought to ask her fellow mage about the curiosity, how it had come into being. She recalled him mentioning to the King that it had been made in “essence” of his sister, but she was quite intrigued to know how and by whom. After all, she had thought the musical man to only have control of darkness. This was something else entirely.

She did not ask, however, for he seemed quite content to play his saxophone and she did not want to interrupt. At that point, Erina came back down the stairs, changed and with pack in hand, her troublesome--yet somehow endearing--Squil tucked away inside of it with a petulant look on his furry features.

Nalria returned her attention to Solaire, knowing him to be a skilled warrior and one of the few in their party not plagued by some emotional burden or another. Her expression as she regarded him was friendly.

“Something tells me your skills will be quite valuable on this little quest of ours,” she said, taking her own pack from her shoulder and setting it on the ground beside Erina’s for the time being. She kept her bow in place on her back, however, resting her hands on the pommels of her scimitars. Nalria’s smile grew a bit mischievous. “Perhaps we can spar some time? I’m always happy to hone my skills with fellow swordsmen.”

Nirel smiled at J'ni. "You have everything yes?" She asked kneeling down to gently lift the fairy onto her shoulder along with her room ,or what was brought of it, which she made sure not to drop. Nirel smiled again at the little (big) Fairy. "You are... Adorable you know. Jut perfectly sized to embrace and more than cute enough to get whatever you want." Nirel said in her broken Common the she walked to the stairs where she held J'ni close to her chest and slid down her ice slide to the entrance of the castle to wait for the others. Mostly encase she had no idea where she was supposed to go.

As the students used their time to pack, the sun slowly dyed the sky in a deep red as it started to set. The guardsmen stood outside the castle gate, waiting for Genovian and the students, patient as they were commanded to do.

Genovian walked down the halls of each floor, his hard metal boots yelling out his whereabouts to anyone who would listen, and revealing his not so happy mood in the process. He looked in each room, searching for the eleven apprentices and the single associate who apparently was going to accompany the group.
He ordered each and every one of them to assemble down with the guardsmen in front of the gate, until he had found the last one, and walked out there himself.

"Now everyone, this ain't no field trip, so keep your wits about you! If you come back with a gnawed off hand, that ain't my problem." he yelled out for them to hear, as he swung up on his horse. Every one of the students had been presented to their own traveling companion, exept Erina who would be riding her Hyre, much to the annoyance of Genovian "Alright, Pull out!" he yelled as he kicked the horse forward, starting in a fast gallop. The five guardsmen waited behind the students, taking the rear end of the caravan.

Dulin stood at the entrance, looking after his young students as they traveled out, a slight hint of worry in his old eyes, before he turned around and walked inside.

J'ni nodded and giggled as she was picked up. "Yeah, I gots everything I'll need... I think." She smiled happily as she rode on the elf, moving after they had slid down to push her room into Nirel's pack. It was much too big for her to carry on her own and it wouldn't be much of a burden upon anyone else. She hugged her ear with a smile as she heard the compliment from the freeze elf. "You'd be hard pressed to find a fairy that wasn't adorable, although I am kinda special."

At sometime later when everyone was outside, everyone on some sort of animal to head towards the airship they'd be taking. Everyone but J'ni. There wasn't an animal the fairy's size that she could ride and keep up with everyone else. So, instead, she opted for riding with (on) Nirel. Grunty was also with her, carrying a backpack that had a few things she might need later, plus some extra scrap metal for her magic and experiments.

Nirel smiled at J'ni again and walked to a horse. They were smaller and had coarser hair than the ones they used in her tribe to traverse the long distances between the villages. Walking up to one of the larger ones Nirel deftly leaped up onto the horse then set J'ni in/on her lap and used a small leather strap to make a hold for the small fairy. "If you feel uncomfortable please tell me." She whispered then she looked around. At the others until her eyes fell upon the guards and their leader. She hated him. He was cruel to the people, and he hated her, she could feel it her her bones. Taking her eyes away form the object of her distrust Nirel instead picked up J'ni and placed her on her chest since she seemed to like riding there.

Before he could reply to Niral, Genovian ushered them outside. Heaving up the create, he plodded after them, somewhat behind due to the added weight he was carrying. Reaching the outdoors, he observed their mounts before shaking his head. "I don't need a mount. Give it to the messenger going to the Cog Knight barracks. I have other means to save time" Unfurling his wings, flapping upwards he hovered above them, keeping his altitude with a rhythm of wing beats. Flying over them, it gave him one last opportunity to gaze upon the city surrounding from his elevated position.

He didn't know the place that well, only remembering where the watchmen houses, Cog barrack's and military depots. Should of probably grabbed more sparkers from the other stores. This was going to be a long journey by the sounds of it, and he doubted he'd have the ammunition to last. Their weren't going to be many places to restock apart from the forts and training grounds that dotted the world, but they were scarce and far between. Well, looked like he'd have to practise on his swordsmanship and get himself a shield at some point...
