RIGHT?! I totally see her sitting up by the counter, trying several different wands with disastrous results. Getting annoyed with it, so, while said wand maker is looking for yet another one to try, she decides to look herself.
While managing to bump into, and knock over, several shelves. There it lay, in the midst of the fallen wands. One beautiful, pink, wand.

Cute little dog! I could see Dawn and Katrin meeting in the halls, mostly due to their animals
K-9 runs down the hall and ends up chasing Duffy Duck around Dawn's feet until Dawn either scoops the puppy up or scoops the duck up
