well, in one of my stories, there's a character who =ets her legs annihilated. she gets kneecapped, and gets her ankles destroyed, and by the time all is said and done, she's practically wallowing in blood an injury. Definitely not a savory sight, and not something I had expected to write.

I feel like saying 'that's hot', but I also just woke up, so.
