Size of the cage is up to you, but since this is early days and you've not widen the field much, then you're probably sending a tethered anchor first, then a cramp one-person pod that rides on the tether. Maybe you can have several transport pods on the tether at once, up to you, but probably ferries one person at a time, with each trip taking several minutes or more.

Without the anchor, there's a chance of physical and temporal separation between travelers, on the order of hours, weeks, months, years, decades...

How tight might a cage be? I can't describe spatial temporal wormholes really well. But as this one is just wide enough for a person to go through, it seems that forces of distortion from the curvature could be ruining anything larger that one tries to push through it. There would more probably would just be resistance there to larger things going through.

Still for what things I have in mind communication will not be so relevant for it. Any of those going through will probably come back again with some interesting information for those still waiting there. I am thinking there might be ongoing exploration through it and beyond, while the expense of this research is yet adequately funded.

Character Name: Mirai Kiko
Age: 18
Profession: Professional Chef

Description: Mirai is a 5’5 female with a very quiet personality, as she does not like to open up to people unless he creates a loving bond with them, which can be really rare. Though, with her build, no one can really tell whether she is male or female. Often tricking people and laughing at them when they guess her gender wrong. Though she often pretends to flirt with females as a joke, she’s into males. Mirai often writes in a small notebook to record his thoughts and memories, as she suffers from memory loss and emotional detachment. She also tries channeling his feelings into photographs with a simple, vintage, polaroid camera.

Flaw: Struggles to work together, too independent for her own good.
Weapon for defense: He carries a large Tento knife in his shoulder bag.
Equipment: She wears heavy-duty leather leg belts that connect to her waist down to her lower thigh, though it is untold as to why she wears these. She also carries a black, heavy shoulder bag that has a camera, knife, and set of medical supplies. Also carrying a sniper-rifle case on her back.

Bio: Mirai grew up in a very flourished household, living the status of the upper class and going to a very elite private school. During her younger years, she excelled in most of her classes, especially writing and becoming a fluent speaker of english. While she was among the richest of the school and the smartest, she was often teased and made fun of due to her male-like appearance by the other females at her school. She learned to sound out the people teasing her, and decided to isolate herself from the world and not try to make no physical connections among her peers.

Her father was a kind man, and often liked to hunt for a hobby. Sometimes, he would take Mirai along to hunt animals along with him. Teaching her how to properly use a gun and how to kill an animal if ever needed to in a situation. Her mother did not mind this, and thought it could prove for growth for Mirai to come out of her shell. Mirai also took up an interest for doing photography when she received her first ever camera for her 8th birthday.

As the time went on, her parents had started getting very hostile towards each other. Not feeling love for each other more, due to her father making poor decisions. Often coming home drunk, coming home smelling like weed, or often doing heavy drugs inside of their home. Mirai never understood why he was doing these things, but she suspected something was wrong with his job due to him getting a letter from them not so long ago. Mirai’s father soon started to act physically abusive towards his mother. Beating her and leaving marks onto her. As Mirai watched this happen, she would scream for him to stop. But after a while, she no longer did… just watching with a sorrowful face.

In a year, their parents filed for a divorce. Finally settling away from each other. Though, her mother started acting more hostile now towards Mirai. Doing the same things her father had been doing to her mother. Mirai often didn’t show up to school because her appearance would now look bruised. Mirai was soon taken out of school and faced harsh treatment at home. Mirai often snuck out and walked down the busy city streets of Sapporo, Hokkaido.


When she turned the age of 12, her passion for cooking was sparked after watching a man cook inside a restaurant. Being able to see him work through the window, she saw the people's happy faces when eating his food. She began to learn how to cook at once, not really succeeding in the first attempts, but after she turned 15, she was a natural. Being able to cook difficult dishes most adults cannot. She scouted out places who could use places for hiring, but her being young, she wasn’t able to apply just yet. But when she turned 16, she had worked for a 5 star restaurant for about 2 years before now, being once again, unemployed. Now leaving her at this current state.

@GodlyD&D; honestly I am unsure what to put for the bio. What would you prefer I describe? My last rp sites never had a bio, so I am unfamiliar with it.

Bio is short for Biography - your character's history. Did he grow up as an only child, or was he the middle child of a very large family? What did he do that's noteworthy?

I am thinking with the limitation to the size that would go through the spatial temporal wormhole, I can have the person doing so wearing a belt that serves this purpose, with being tethered to the anchor previously sent in through there, those together tethered to what holds the tether in the research center.

@SUKONE-P; wow, that is quite a backstory. I am glad you fixed up pronouns as when I first looked it was more confusing. She could cook as well as a professional at age 15. But because of her youth she could not just get employment right away. At age 16 she had worked at a five star restaurant for two years, and became unemployed then. Maybe it could be written to have the sequence better explained. The rest while very involved is alright.

@Sabes; it is alright, when I started with getting into a roleplaying thread after joining this forum earlier I did not understand what was expected for a bio either. It is just any backstory more or less with it showing the character, in interesting ways, leading to the character coming into the events in the thread at its start, however you want to with your creativity.
