Homeworld / Place of birth: One of the backwater planets along the rim

Weapons: As far as actual weapons go she has herself a small revolver in case she gets into a scrap and a shotgun on the ship, but otherwise she just has her trusty wrench and tool kit. She refuses to use automatic weaponry or powered weaponry however.

Special Qualities: Junk has some sort of technokinesis. She personally describes it as talking and listening to machines. Usually she needs to have some form of contact to use it, although she has been known to 'hear' a machine without touching it and wandering off.

Role: She is the ship's mechanic

Opinion on Unification: She never wanted to have any part of it. She just wanted to explore the galaxy. However there had been times when she was hunted down because of her ability by one side or another. She kept managing to slip away, just continuing going from ship to ship, station to station.

History:
Jun Kae's, or Junk as everyone calls her, story begins young. She never knew who her real parents were, but she was raised in a workshop by several people on some back water planet. Even young she had a knack for putting things together, using parts from other things if she had to, saying that she could just hear the machine when asked how. The boss of the workshop wanted to keep Junk around because of the profits she made him, but when she became a teenager a ship came to the planet. It was like nothing she had ever seen before and before she knew it, the plague of wanderlust was upon her.

She stowed away on the ship, only to be found just a day after they left the planet. She had gone to the engine room and fixed a malfunctioning part of the engine which led to her discovery. She was yelled at, for stowing away and generally berated untill they show the engine had been improved. They had already scared the girl through and when they made port again she quickly ran off. And so started her story of staring to work from ship to ship, making a name for herself before she finally came to age to legally work at star ports.

She kept to herself, never staying for too long in a single place. Such is the life of one struck by wanderlust. She wants to see it all: the galaxy, the cultures, and more importantly the technologies. Year after year she switched from port to port, ship to ship making a name for herself as a very skilled mechanic despite her peculiarities. It was about a year ago when she was approached about joining the crew of the Aurora. It was quite the awkward conversation, but she got hired on and instead of taking a bunk, she basically turned the engine room into her own room.

He... He cares for his ship, even if he doesn't know how to all the time... He picked me up when he pulled into the station I was working at with the engine of the Aurora barely holding on with duck tape and dreams. I couldn't just sit by with a ship so obviously in pain and so I grabbed my tools and collection of parts and courage to go offer to help.

He was nice enough then and he continues that indifferent kindness today. Not to mention he's also probably the only one that believes that I can understand the machines. That I can hear and talk to them. Then again he does have his own power....

Spoiler: Cori 

She honestly scares me... I didn’t even know that she had been invited onto the ship till days later. Hardened. Tough. Stubborn. That’s what my first impression came out to her as. Not to mention everything she puts that poor brace through... She... ‘asked’ me to fix it one night. She put the poor baby through so much work. I spent the whole night fixing it up and adding a bit more to hopefully save it some stress. Then I just hung it on her door so that I didn’t have to give it to her. I also put a pink smiley face on it, hoping it would make her a little more cheered up.... I had to lock myself up in my room for a week before she calmed down...

Spoiler: Michelangelo 

He... He's nice I guess? He pushes to poor ship to it's limits sometimes but he's never done it without reason. He's one of the few that really talks to me. Tries to get me to come and stay out of the engine room. I don't think he believes that I can hear the engine speak considering how much he teases me about it.... At the very least I can trust him with my shopping list of ship parts or to at least do the talking for me.

It... She seems like another Cori. I've been trending towards avoiding her when possible... I don't need another person mad at me...

Spoiler: Mei 

She... I dunno... She seems like spending time with me. I mean she usually comes to the engine room, my room to talk to me or at least to get me out of there for most meals. I guess if it wasn't for her I'd just take my meals into my room at every meal. I like her. She's kind and she helps make me feel at ease.
