Clinical depression, suicidal, loves to self-harm; however, I have been clean for a good two months. Anxiety-does not matter whether it be in a social context or educational any type of anxiety. Recall memory problems-I have trouble recalling what I just read literally in a span of a few seconds if I am lucky a few minutes. ADHD, what type do I have? Combined. Meaning I have symptoms of inactivity which is a latent term for ADD, and the symptoms of Hyperactivity-Impulsive. I have some symptoms of PTSD.

I was actually considering to post to this thread for a few days now, but never found the courage to do it.

I meant to reply sooner that it is awesome that you have been clean for two months! My anxiety/brain fatigue got in the way.

I'm so exhausted today. I cried the whole time I was in physical therapy (bulging thoracic spine discs). It didn't hurt. I was just so tired. So I felt like a loser. So I cried more. WHY do I not have control of crying? Man, it's embarrassing. I mean, it is the monthly time that ruins all things, (but is eternally happy because of why it arrives) but still... I would love some control. Blubbering in public isn't fun.

I'm glad you've been clean for two months.

Recovering agoraphobe, Panic Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Since having met my fiance I've been able to leave my house. He makes me feel so safe and protected and helps me get out of my comfort zone. Some days I'm still afraid to leave but he coaxed me through the winter and things have been better c:
I worked with the developmentally delayed for a bit and that helped me realize I wasn't crazy and I was able to better help some if them knowing what they were going through.

Hey, small world! I used to be agoraphobic and have those other problems too. I still have flare ups, but I could never leave the house before. Dating/marrying my now husband I think helped a lot. It's amazing what a little personal interest can do, you know?

Thank you very much ^^ And you are a gentle kind soul for doing the works with developmentally delayed people. Many people won't even consider to look at them let alone speak to them.

Being clean for two months is hard though. I had many close encounters where I would have cut..

Don't be so hard on yourself. Any kind of addiction is hard to break. Setbacks are normal. Just get back up and keep going and try not to dwell on the temporary failure.
