Age at death: technically I think they were only a few months old, but they were a young adult

Did you have a criminal record?: technically no, but committed several murders and an act of treason

Basic outline of former life: Neferpitou was arguably the strongest of the Royal Guard for the chimera ants, an alien species of ant instilled with qualities of the prey consumed by the Queen before they were born. Despite having a humanoid appearance, Pitou retains no memories of their human life prior to consumption by the Queen. Within hours of birth as a chimera ant, they were able to use Nen, which means they were able to harness and control inner power into unique abilities. Pitou's abilities were essentially ventriloquist in nature. Pitou was firey, quick-witted and loved nothing more than the thrill of a fight and the King they were sworn to protect. After defeating an especially strong Hunter, Pitou's desire to continue fighting him manifested a new Nen ability to manipulate his corpse for training practice. As the firstborn of the Royal Guard, they were directly involved with carrying out the Selection, a process involving mass-harvesting humans for potential Nen-using chimera ants. Pitou's devotion to the King was so strong that their Nen activated their corpse-manipulation on themself to keep fighting for a short time after death.

You will not remember any of this until you're between the ages of 16-20.

Would you like to stay the same: I would like them to more or less stay the same, but we can spin that like the human aspect of Pitou is why they were able to be reborn on this planet or something so they can be full-human. Chimera ants are definitely a HxH universe thing IMO so I'm just trying to regenerate their personality and general aesthetic.

If I'm allowed to play more than one character I might make a request form for sweet little Komugi too.

This seems fine as long as they're human, not sure about the Nen ability though, so probably not that.
Magic is a thing, and you may decide how that manifests if at all. It doesn't count towards the ability limit. You don't need to fill the ability limit.

A second character would be fine if you think you can handle it.

Wow, thanks for such a quick response! I should focus on some coursework for now but will make a character sheet for Pitou's technically third incarnate over the next couple of days. I will only make another form if I think I'll have the bandwidth after waiting for some other RPs I've inquired about to respond, just to make sure I don't take on too much.

Description: Pitou is roughly five feet tall with very light blonde hair that frames their chin and caramel-colored irises which shine behind a persistent mischievous smile. Their almond-shaped eyes, pointed chin and rounded cheeks give Pitou's face a rather cat-like appearance. Their favorite color is admiral blue, which they wear as often as possible.

personality: From the moment they spring out of bed everything, Pitou treats everything as a game they have all confidence they will win. Laughter flits out their mouth easier than an ocean breeze and those considered boring or a nuisance may quickly wind up the butt of one of Pitou's endless jokes. The young performer began using puppets as another means of expression around ten years of age, and they've hardly been spotted without one in tow ever since. Each has a distinct personality even more bizarre than their ventriloquist's.

Here's what I have so far, I just have some questions about the bio. Are we in a specific time period / area? Do we need to be in the same family, and if so, what should I change my character's surname to? Is there particular piece of information that you are expecting to see for this section?

No, they seem reasonable.
Since none of my players as suggested a timeline or technological period, we'll say this world is in a sort of midevil period heading into Victorian, with black powder weapons becoming common, and people working hard on what they claim will me machines of wonder, with some already working and on their way to being mass produced.

As for last names, if you want to be in a specific family, then talk to the player you want to be in a family with. Otherwise, I see no problem with the Sit Name.
But, if you do want a sibling, I'm planning on being a beastkin girl to be adopted.

As for powers, I would prefer you have them listed, whether or not you already know how to use them.

Question about Powers, using Wonder Woman as an example. Everything Wonder Woman can do that is not teachable she got from her Divine Empowerment or Demigod Physiology would her powers be limited in this RP?
