    How do you use clipping masks in gimp?
    that is the one thing I haven't figured out. Dx

    Copy visible and then paste.

    Make a new layer, call it mask clipping.

    Take a brush and paint where you want the clippings to be.

    After that,

    Hide the mask clipping layer and right click > alpha to selection.

    You should see the silhouettes of your brushes.

    Now take your piece and move it around, and press ctrl + I, then ctrl + x.

    There you go, mask clipping.

    I'll make a tutorial on it later if you don't know how.

    It's not really a tutorial, more so an example piece of the process I do/use to make my signatures.

    And it's also an example to test out how good MSE4 really works.
