I don't want a blastoise or arbok.
I want a mix of the two, which would be a tentacruel, after I evolve it from a tentacool.
Blastoise is a water type.
Arbok is a poison type.
Tentacruel is both a water and a poison type.

Okay... Now it comes clear. Now i understand. Of course... i do have to point out that Tentacool is also Water... and poison.

So... if you got a Tentacool and trained it with care and compassion... but also with strength and determination... as well as perseverance. You could wind up with a tentacruel that has a personality that mirror's that of your character. One that is like forever paired... to you. Didn't you know that? I did. Just read up on the thread where the adventure resides and see how loyal and close the pokemon are to their trainers because of those same reasons. There's good logic.

But never assume that you can never have a Tentacruel. You can. Just that you have to train a tentacool and evolve one into that first... Unless you can come up with a Bio for your character that dictates as to how you already had a Tentacruel. Either way... i never said that you couldn't... All i am doing is laying out some creative ways to evolve a Tentacool into one that you can bond with... with pride and sheer will. A one that mirrors and shares your personality... That's all. But you can have one. Never doubt that you can... you can. All you got to do is set it up in a way that works for your place in the tale... and such. But make it where it puts you... in a very amazing light. You can do it. Just believe. You can.

The Adventure may be with a real life essence and all that... but the whole embrace is with an Anime persona... Even the pokemon are animated based... So... i don't think it'll be in any way... a problem.

I wouldn't go that far... But i can allow for a 3-35 ft tall. Besides in the thread... with all things going along... i am not sure that its world would be ready for a 50-60ft tall pokemon. Even if it does sound as like an mystic oddity. I don't think it'd be ready for one that tall. Pretty cool thought though. Different. I like it.

Anyway, starting out, there's 3 things I want.
Tentacool
Magikarp
Gastly

Tentacool because it can evolve into Tentacruel.
Magikarp because the entire idea behind the Pokemon is completely hilarious.
And Gastly because I like them.

Done. But... if you're up for it... Pick one for a starter and then the other 2... You catch with swift speed and befriend them. Which shall happen just minor moments after starting your character's adventure where he/she encounters the group. But those pokemon... will either be your starters or the first immediate ones you catch and attain.

However... all in all. consider it a done deal. It shall be done.

I think Gastly will be the starter because I like the idea of a Gastly following me around everywhere.
For Magikarp, you ever see that episode of the anime were James got duped and bought a magikarp in a golden Pokeball but it only turned out to be gold plated?
I'm thinking my character might fall into the same trap.

Oh my... It's been years since i last saw that episode. But thinking back... i do happen to recall that. And boy were they ever surprised when that Magikarp evolved... into a Gyradoes They were all put in utter shock. Because for one thing... No one ever would have seen that coming. Ever in a million years. A Small fish... becoming... something like that. That threw everyone for a big side-winder. But... That's a good approach. IT's a good one. Not to mention that somewhere soon... in the thread you'll find out something that will throw you for a good surprise. *Grins*

And since that Magikarp thing happened on a boat, it probably wouldn't be too difficult to catch a tentacool at some point close.
