It's a sock actually, I'm pulling it on in the next two pictures. And yes, yes I am pulling it out of the spirit realm.

That hair has seen all kinds of blood, sweat, and booze at several different concerts . But... Around a year and a half ago I kinda grew out of that lifestyle, and I just keep it long out of habit. I've gone soft guys, I'm a nurse, and I donate my hair...

Not implying that nurses aren't metal, hell... We deal with some pretty damn gruesome stuff on a daily basis.
