Jade called her closer, so PT wandered up close as Jade began to explain their task. PT was supposed to go with Jade to find the other gem and...fight her. A pit of nervous dread filled her stomach. Why was she the one who had to fight? She had no combat experience! Jade should know that she didn't want to fight, she wasn't useful and--

Suddenly, Jade grabbed her shoulders and reassured her. PT didn't really agree that she was capable, but the words still comforted her. Maybe this wouldn't be a terrible as she thought.

"I-I'm ready," PT muttered, the sense of nervousness back. She grabbed her baton from her gem and waited for the group to advance.

Descriptors: Enigmatic, Malevolent, Detached, Ethereal, Calm (Sorry that's more than three but the character sheet doesn't have a personality section so I hope that helps a bit )
Style Preferences: Probably quite mysterious, calm with sinister undertones... I imagine a piano or an organ if we're being really dramatic
Other information: Hmm, possibly very quiet whispers at some point if it added to it, just to create more of an atmosphere of mysterious and sinister. But not really, I give you total creative freedom in this regard if that's okay!

And may the skies rain ruin.

Arael's eyes glimmered with icy malice as he gazed at the ethereal visage of the demon before him. "Baigujing" he began, circling the table, tracing the runic symbols with his finger. "By the Third Rite of Ash, and the power of your true name, I beckon you." Arael's fingers pressed inexorably against one of the candle flames - and it guttered out in a wisp of pale smoke. "Let your eternal soul return to walk among the living, and may your enemies, my enemies, tremble before you." The lich continued his slow path around the table, snuffing another two flames as he did so.

"Your destiny lies before you."

Another candle flickered out.

"By bone, that binds us all. By blood, that sustains our life."

The fifth candle expired, leaving just one more - burning feebly against an unnatural chill that had settled over the room.

Arael had completed the circle, and now stood directly opposite the skull once more, fingers lying teasingly close to the last point of light in the chamber. "By flesh, that strengthens our bodies... and by soul, that rules them all."

There in the soft, dim light, an onlooker would have seen a chilling grin staring back at them from behind the flames.

"I bind you to me, Baigujing. Cast off these feeble shackles and once more embrace the power that courses through your twisted and ancient spirit."

Arael Zandramas extinguished the last candle, and plunged the world into blackness. His own eyes flared up in the shadows like two bright beacons of cold flame. Raising his hand, he harnessed the rampant necromantic energies that had been gathered in the chamber, seeing them as threads of eldritch light linking the soul to the body. They were disjointed, incomplete, but with an elegant twist of his hand, Arael made them whole again.

Somewhere in the darkness, something rose.

And I might just change the descriptors to personality anyway. I think that was more what I was going for anyway, haha.
