That first one of the hose is absolutely gorgeous! Is that charcoal or graphite?
Ah, thanks. I drew that in 2011 with soft graphite for my niece. It honestly is the last drawing I’ve done (and before that, I hadn’t drawn in four years so was out of practice then and I’m sure even more so now).
Anyway. This is some Photoshop work I did in work this morning for the interior designer on my team. I did all of this using the brush and eraser tools.
The base drawing was drawn in Autocad, an architectural technical drawing software. I may post a video one day of me drawing in Autocad and other softwares just to show people what architects use when designing.

I drew her when I was sixteen. I saw the famous National Geographic image, the Afghan Girl, and wondered if I could draw it. So I tried. I think I could have done better, but I mean... I was an angsty, inexperienced, and impatient teenager, k?
Also, eyes are quite difficult to get right.
Even more so these eyes :(

Your work with charcoal and toning has improved so much though! Her hair looks fantastic.

Graphite on white paper. Experimenting with more abstract drawing.

It’s pixellated. It’s the only image I have of it.

Well, thank you.
That one seems to be the favourite. I only drew that colt because my then six-year-old niece asked me to. I was home visiting, she said she missed me, and asked if we could draw each other a picture. (The drawing she did for me was so freaking cute.) So I asked her what she wanted me to draw, and she said a horse. It took me about a forty-five minutes. My other niece saw it and then asked me to draw her a kitten. So I did. I didn’t take as much time on this one, though.
Spoiler: Kitten drawn for my younger niece
That niece then drew me a picture in return. She was three at the time. :3

Aww that's cute. When I was a kid I often used to draw pictures of one of my cats. We actually had two cats but one was more fun to draw than the other one.
