Thought I'd post something in this shizz for once - because I've been working on a LOT of projects that fall under the art + architecture category. (Speaking of art + architecture... how do I change the name of this thread to that, @Kris? :3

Anywho, right now this is going up in the Google office building here in Dublin.

It's a wall graphic I designed in Photoshop - I named it 'Dublin City Vibes.'

This is the entrance / corridor wall that leads into the Music Room that is there for the Googlers (that is what Google calls their staff).

This graphic is going to be gigantic! That woman I put in for scale is about 5'7.



That spindle there in the drawing represents the spire of Dublin

Then the staves with the music symbols represent the Wickow Mountains that are at the border of old Dublin town.

Spoiler: The Dublin Spire 

The heart of the city.
The statue in front of the spire is of a man who lead the Irish rebellion against the occupation of England one hundred years ago.

Aw, thankies. Google are weird about anyone taking photos inside their offices, but I'll try to sneak a photo on the sly once it's installed... even a quick one.

You can't even go into their buildings without a chaperone

So I'm going to take a picture of the graphic that's been installed in Google Docks Dublin on Monday, as I've arranged a site visit then.

Until then, gonna share some of my other work here a little.

I still need to do more sketching, and more graffiti art (hehe, it's fun), and want to share some of that here when I can.

But for now WERKKKKK coming up in the next postie.

Just showing some 3D modeling in work today.

This is drawn in Revit, by Donal and Orla... and now I’m going to be taking over it for a while, working under one of my bosses, Ian.

Drawings begin in 2D cad and then are brought into Revit where you create 3D models and conduct renders.

My boss has also recently invested in virtual reality gear. It’s pretty cool. You can put the goggles on and it feels like you’re walking in the building designed in this software. I tried it out today, and then my colleague set me up into a virtual reality video game loool. I had to shoot alien robot... things. It was weird.
