SirCookie - I am fine with your character having some medical training, perhaps they washed out of their medic training for some reason?
Angel- no huge rush, I still have some stuff to get done.
Will wait a while longer to see who else wants to join. Does anyone have an idea of what we should call these walker things?
The final battle,
Pain, suffering; overcome,
by the united.
mechs
walkers
either is fine
as for classification
I would think that depends on the function and look
2 legs, 4 legs, 6 legs, 8 legs, or maybe even 10 (10 might be overkill)
maybe classify it close to naval vessels
patrol class? (not sure that would fully work)
friggers, destroyers, cruisers. these might be for the ones with more legs, could even call them land ships.
otherwise, if its something with 2 legs, what is the look and function?
how many of what kind of gun? crew compliment?
is it a humanoid shape? or a weapons platform?
we could just give it something like Grims Mk3 striker if it fit it, or just the Mk4
or maybe something more like the Cyclops storm walker if that is more what you are looking for
or maybe we can do something else
the old tanks, like the British mk5, were called tanks as a code name.
so, we could do something along those lines
the first rotary tank of WW1 was the FT-17 Renault
made by a french inventor named Leui Renault.
so maybe we could call them Hamilton Dragons, as they may have been made by a guy named Hamilton with the original idea in the vague shape of a dragon, maybe not pulling through on the last part, but working nonetheless.
