Alright! Hope it didn't take to long, still doing some polishing. If anyone has thoughts, I would love to hear them. Might do some minor edits if there is time, just don't want to be holding anything up. There's no way you could kill this guy. Right??? :P
Joshua MacInnis 20 Male
Appearance
average height, dirty blonde chin length hair, faint worry lines on forehead,
sunken tired brown eyes, light stubble on chin,
slight frame, on the thin side,
slight faded bruising on hands.
Always wearing a simple metal cross on a chain round his neck.
Personality
Soft spoken, Josh will shake hands and give his name on meeting new people and little else and often won't offer his opinion unless asked.
He is used to manual labour and works hard at any task he is given. He is of average intelligence but often doesn't correct people even when they are obviously wrong.
He's caring and kind in his actions toward friendly or new people, especially when they are in need. Stuck up people and people who are disrespectful of his believes very quickly try his patience. Because he has been working to support his family he has missed out on a lot of things most people his age have experienced. He doesn't drink, smoke or take illicit drugs.
Strengths
faithful- his unshakable faith in things bigger than himself keeps him hopeful through difficult times.
Determined -He will keep working at a task until he gets it.
Flaws
Dependent- he is willing to do whatever it takes to make sure his family is taken care of because its all he knows how to do.
Shy- He might not speak up to offer his thoughts even when he should.
Compassionate- He will help someone in need even if it's to his detriment if he can.
Background
His mother is a waitress and his father works as a construction labourer and are both alive and very loving caring parents. They instilled in him from an early age respect for others, especially those in service industries or who do physical labor for a living. His parents had very little money while raising him so he is used to having just enough to scrape by.
As the oldest of a low income family of 5 he has been working hard to support his parents and siblings since he started working part time at 14.
He was raised devoutly religious, and his prized possession is a cross necklace his grandparents gave him when he was a child.
Josh had to work triple shifts in order to save enough money to take time off work and participate in the show. His parents insisted that they didn't need the money, but Josh knew it would go a long way toward taking care of the family and his younger brother and sister.
Josh isn't interested in being on TV or the popularity, he's only interested in getting the money for his family.
The final battle,
Pain, suffering; overcome,
by the united.

You aren't holding anything up Thank you!
-
Looks like we got 6 characters now
When should we expect the IC up? Would you rather we still have more characters?
-
I’m in the process of finishing up my remaining profiles. Hard to say when I’ll be done with how busy things have been IRL, but I’ll finish tonight if I can.
Thanks for the set, Kicks!

What do we think about getting started, and the folks we're still waiting on can join as they're able?
-
I would be up for that, since at least one of my characters is essentially ready, except for the background which I don’t se playing that much of a role (if any) in the RP.
Thanks for the set, Kicks!
