Isabel gave him a slightly dazed stare. All this information was a lot to take in. "...That's where we're going? What kind of unfinished business do you have? Will it be dangerous?"
“Somebody on Daiyu owes me a favor, and I intend to cash in on it.” He thought for a moment. “It is a ecumenopolis, a planet-spanning city. So, expect some level of danger, I suppose.”
Isabel nodded along as if she was understanding all of this, but her panicked expression betrayed her. She rubbed her hands together nervously and glanced over her shoulder again. "Okay, uhm... Kavik. I'm sorry, but is there any way you could... take me to a safe place first? I... I think I really need to lie down."
